I'm a caregiver who sees a resident at the community. Every time I'm here, people are happy, smiling, and look like they're having fun. I work in different communities but I love coming to this one!

Brookdale of Leawood is one amazing place!! Many different floor plans to choose from. Great food prepared by a chef. Beautiful surroundings. Everyone who lives there has been there for years!! Smiles everywhere!! A very accommodating and friendly staff!! Fabulous parties!! Indoor pool!! Exercise classes galore!! Being a part of Brookdale Leawood is like being a part of one big family!! Highly recommend!!

Our parents are residents and my siblings and I spend lots of time there. The staff is friendly and responsive to their needs. The common areas of the facility have recently been renovated. It is just lovely and peaceful. The rooms of the apartment are larger than we encountered when visiting other facilities. They were able to take a lot of their furniture and clothing with them. They have two bedrooms and two bathrooms and even a small "non-cooking" kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. Meals in the dining room are pleasant and they order from a menu. They like the flexibility of eating anytime they want.

My father is enjoying living there very much. The food is great. His apartment is very nice. Loves the pool. Helpful transportation service to doctor's appointments. Nice area to walk his dog.

My Mom loves it here. Lots of activities and they provide everything as they advertise. So thankful she has a safe place to live that she lives and calls home.

My Dad was only at Brookdale for a couple of months...in Memory Care. It was a long road to get him there. The caregivers and staff could not have been better. He was treated with love, respect, and dignity. I was amazed at the activities they had him involved in, even if he just watched. They sent me updates, sometimes daily. I’m at peace knowing he got the best care we could get him in his last days. We were with him almost full time at the end, and they comforted him and us. Historic Brookdale was a wonderful experience for us.

I really liked this place. However, I dont think this would be in our budget unless they would take Medicare.

Our Mom is a happy, safe and healthy resident of Brookdale Gig Harbor. While she resisted our attempts to move her in a year prior, with help from [name removed], the sales manager we were able to take baby steps and finally get her moved in! She is happy and settled and doing very well now. Thanks Brookdale Gig Harbor!

My mom is now ready for memory care. The team at Brookdale Gig Harbor took great care of my Mom in her long stay at the community. Staff was patient, loving, caring and highly trained. Mom always felt valued, safe and well cared for. The staff did so much to keep mom safe for as long as possible. We'll never forget... Thank you!

My son moved me here from out of state. My first day here, I went out on a 911 call which was handled so well by the Brookdale Gig Harbor staff. it made me realize my son was right to move me. Now I have many friends, I'm healthy again, I see my son more often and I'm safe!

Our mom passed away after several years @ Brookdale Gig Harbor. She was there through 3 management company changes which were all positive. The dedicated staff was caring and consistent and took great care of our mom. We have only great things to say about this Brookdale Gig Harbor community!

When I first toured Brookdale, it felt more like a resort than a nursing facility. My father was a resident at Brookdale Kenner for his final months. I can't express how happy I was with the facility. The staff was very friendly, attentive and caring. We had always tried to avoid putting him into a nursing home, but once we found Brookdale, I wish we had done it sooner. I compared several facilities, and found Brookdale to be the best one for pricing (better than the other choices), safety, security, care, meals, activities and attention. Brookdale offered activities like crafts, games, exercise, live music, enclosed gardens and a covered patio for the memory care patients. The meals were excellent with a good variety to suit my father's appetite. Brookdale will always be in my heart for giving my father (and me) the best final months of his life.

Very friendly. [Name removed] makes Brookdale a true home. Seniors make their own personal choices appropriate to their needs and abilities. Care to hospice and medicare as needed. Services are add ons.

We moved our parents into Legacy after a great tour and lots of emails and telephone calls. They were very responsive to all forms of communication. Legacy has so much to offer in activities. They have tables for puzzles and games, plus a chapel for Sunday services and bible studies. They have all kinds of activities including volley ball (even for residence that are in wheel chairs), bingo, activities for the family to participate in. The building is always kept clean and beautifully decorated. They have every thing that a person would ever need. From a mini store to snacks anyone can pick up to taking residence out to restaurants, or to a dr visit, or out to shop, they are there. I would recommend Legacy at Falcon Point for any level of care your love one needs.

I was really impressed by the facilities and staff. This is on my short list.

LOVE this community, just visited 2 others and was no impressed. Brookdale Marysville is CLEAN! the menur options are unbelievable, all day dining - awesome! Very happy with the tour we had, so friendly and great smiles. We decided to move in!
