Staff is great! Place is like a boutique hotel, Attentive staff. I don’t worry about my parents safety & well being.

My wife and I are extremely happy that my dad is at Legacy at South Plains! He is 90 years old and a widower university professor who was very reluctant to go into senior living, but was not coping well at home (even with in-home care services) and without another in-home care option. He was most concerned about his cat, who is with him and has adapted as well as he has. After a few days of anxiety about things left at home, he has embraced living at Legacy and loves it. His affect has changed from confused and lackadaisical to happy, engaged, and always up. The support systems are excellent and he raves about the food. He also appreciates several recurring social events, including a Thursday happy hour (which he likes for the social events since he doesnt drink) and a Sunday 3 pm non-denominational church service. Legacy costs a bit more than other Lubbock options but we think it is worth it, and we realize that similar services in New Orleans where we live would cost much more. We would not have looked at Legacy without the suggestion of a Place for Mom so very glad we consulted them!

Amazing. Even the front office people know all the resident's names. They are very hands on and caring.

My father was a founding resident here and he passed away in hospice there, too. He loved it there. The food was great, he had to stop eating desserts because he gained weight. Breakfast was his favorite meal. The staff was so friendly and caring. Dad was a very active senior and they provided lots of good activities. The happy hour Thursday was a huge hit. Dad was a life long Baptist, but I taught him to dance at happy hour Thursday. I have so many good memories there. They made his last 2 years fun. Thanks staff at legacy, we loved you.

The tour was fantastic and answered a lot of questions. Studio suites and expanded rooms available. They have independent living, assisted living, and also provide self-contained memory units. Super nice.

Was impressed from the start. The staff and residents made me feel welcome and wanted. The unit iliked that is available has a nice east facing window overlooking the courtyard and gardens. All the assisted living residences and a tivity centers were all along the corridors for Easter of access. The food was fabulous.

Visited. Good option.

I want to point our some special care that Gig Harbor Court staff has shown my wife. While I was out running errands one of my wife's caregivers, [name removed] had peeked his head in to check on my wife a few times in my absence. I so appreciated this little extra care and attention [name removed] showed for my wife. [Name removed] and [name removed] have also been very attentive, doing much the same. Gig Harbor Court has a wonderful staff and I feel compelled to let you know this is appreciated. BRAVO!

My loved one has resided at Magnolia Place for 3 years in assisted living and memory care. The staff is wonderful, caring and always available to me. I highly recommend Magnolia Place for their care as well as their knowledge for dealing with dementia residents. The food is wonderful. The many choices of food is especially helpful for assisted living residents. I have full confidence in the med techs and senior staff. I highly recommend Magnolia Place Roswell.

I looked at every assisted living within a 30 minute drive of my home....this was the very best! It was the last one I looked at and wish it had been the first so I hadn't wasted my time looking at the others. The place is beautiful, the room my loved one has was just renovated and is lovely, the staff couldn't be better or more responsive to every need, the food is absolutely wonderful with a "restaurant" type of menu, and there are lots of activities going on each and every day...and that is very impt. There are also more men (and veterans) here than at any of the other places which is so nice which my man likes to share war stories with.

The Gig Harbor Court care team took great care of us during the 2 snowy weeks in February. The care-givers spent the night so that they didn't have to drive and risk safety and also made sure they could provide care for us 24/7. Thank you!

The Gig Harbor Court dining team did a fabulous job taking care of us all during the snowstorm weeks in February. The staff stayed the night to be sure we were all fed well!

My mother moved into Gig Harbor Court when it was still under Brookdale. The staff was loving, kind, and provided top notch care for Mom. Mom had a fall and the community team was on the case with an immediate response. The nurse and sales gal visited my mom several times in skilled nursing as she worked to regain strength and mobility. THe staff at this community is exceptional and Mom could not wait to return after her stay in skilled nursing. Mom calls Gig Harbor Court "home" and so do we.

LFR is a newer, very nice and very clean facility. [Name removed] provided our tour and was so helpful in showing us around. The facility has several hallways, nice gathering places and a lot of amenities (salon, work out room, game room, etc.). Families can even reserve bigger rooms for a special event w/your loved one. Menus had nice variety of well balanced meals. Rooms were sufficient. Residents looks happy as well as the staff.

The facility is full of good people and many good activities for the folks. I especially enjoy the painting class and the veterans talk. One room is set aside for the veterans and the facility honors us. The meals are excellent and the chef allows us to give input on the menu each week. Household cleans the rooms once every two weeks and will even change the sheets on your bed. The laundry rooms are free and clean.

[Name removed] was very informative, liked what we saw, especially the dining hours were not fixed, residents could sleep in and still go to eat at their leisure.

My mom had a fall and had to go to skilled nursing after surgery. While there, several staff members from Brookdale came to visit her and keep her motivated and made her feel loved. She's almost ready to discharge back to her Brookdale home and family. She misses everyone and she can't wait to return. She also really misses the food and the chef!

My father was a resident at Brookdale Gig Harbor. The experience was fabulous and he still visits on theme lunch days and has a meal with his friends. We upgraded our home with an apartment for dad because we want him close. Brookdale Gig Harbor and the staff there are dad's home away from home.

I was happy to hear that mom went to the dining room on her own. That's a brave move without full use of her hearing aides. She seems very happy and comfortable after only 2 weeks at Brookdale Gig Harbor! We are both tickled pink so far; love the community, food, apartment size and friendly atmosphere. The care and attention mom gets is wonderful!
