Nice visit, newer facility built in 2007, with full range of services. A bit further from my house than the other two Brookdale facilities and a slightly less expensive initiation fee. If we are going with Brookdale, will pick one of the two closest to my own home.

They are not able to accommodate Mom's full time needs. Lovely place and staff.

Had my second tour with [name removed] this time. Ideal place if my aunt would agree to move to Colorado! Light, bright, common areas and hallways. Warm staff. Liked the floor plans. Respite would be the ideal way to start off.

I was very impressed with this facility. There are many needs that are included in the monthly rent, the rooms and commons are beautiful. Little needs to be paid extra. The only draw back is the cost, but if I can find a way this is where I would choose to be.

My mother needed 24/7 care after a stroke. After looking at almost a dozen places, this memory care stood alone. The residents were smiling and waved each visit, while being busy on creative activities. The staff was out with them, not sitting behind a desk. The new wing is gorgeous and can't wait until mom can use the spa tub for her first bath in 20 years. The transfer from Brookdale assisted living was so easy and costs so reasonable, I would offer this as a First Choice in Memory Care.

One of my faves, these folks were very accommodating, friendly and really seem to care! This was a front runner, but decided to go with another home based on room availability.

I received a warm welcome at the door from [Removed] marketing associate.This is by far the best place for the $$$ I visited. Including the many amenities of truly independent living as the others( meals, light housekeeping, transportation, parking, alert button assistance, beauty shop, maintenance assistance hanging pictures) there is more: 24hr front desk coverage ,more than one set washer/dryer on each floor laundry room as well as washer/dryer in apt., all utilities paid except internet & phone( so basic cable is paid)wonderful menu to include lite & heart healthy fare, an indoor pool, workout facility with staff available, application does not include "hard credit check", managed care for post hospitalization if needed, local skilled care facility connections in Brookdale family of senior living and medicare wellness programs on site. The location is superb being surrounded by mult hospitals within 2-3 mi radius, any type of outpatient medical care/dr offices, near TownCenter Square & Hawthorne Plaza ,not far from Brookside,or Oak Park Mall, and Tomahawk Park walking trails. There is a one time non refundable $3000 fee paid up front which is reserved for the individual if additional skilled nursing is necessary and used within the Brookdale system.There is a $1000 wait list fee. And a $2000 fee for downsizing apartments ( this is negotiable).There is no additional storage although the walk in closets are large enough to handle most storage needs.

Ridgemar is close to the base and had everything I am looking for. They would negotiate the price depending on the floor. Bedrooms floor plan is a small for my furniture. Still a possiblity.

This facility is fantastic! I am so thankful for the staff team there, they have been helpful not only for my mother but for our whole family. They do well with communicating through phone call and when we are there they go out of their way to learn all the family members’ names that comes over. I can’t say enough good things about them. They’re good about receiving feedback, if I tell them that my mother is having issues with something they have someone to help out. They are so professional and very compassionate. [Removed], the person who gave us a tour is very knowledgeable and answered all the questions that we had. I even called back to ask more questions that I forgot to ask and she did very well answering those too. The facility itself is two stories. Downstairs is a locked area specifically for memory care. They also have rooms for residents that have some other medical issue. Upstairs is independent and assisted living. They also provide many social activities that have been so good for my mother. They have social directors that schedule things from Zumba, games, exercise, trivia, movies, lunch, pet therapy, happy hour, Wii bowling, and outings. They literally have all kinds and my mom enjoys it. They even send their schedule of activities to the families to participate as well. I highly recommend this facility.

This facility has been better than I expected. The director here is very nice and understanding. She has been helpful and is excellent in communicating with me. The building itself is beautiful and very clean. There is also no odor that you expect from places like this. Overall this is a good experience and the staff has been wonderful. For activities they offer things like bingo, watching TV, live entertainment, and mass services. I would absolutely recommend this facility to other families.

This community has been very helpful to me while helping me place a friend here. The director is so accommodating. He is in the memory care here and the caregivers are so good and patient. It is kept very clean. They have 3 very good meals a day with 2 or 3 different choices, with snacks in between if needed. They try to engage him in daily activities. They have outings that he has enjoyed and he is getting PT to get stronger. I would recommend this community.

The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make the residents feel welcome and cared for at all times. Very attentive and great communication with the families. Room and facilities are always very clean and orderly. There are lots of activities in Memory care. I love the fact that they strongly encourage participation from all residents. Also like the fact they take the residents on outings to eat and to shop. My mother really enjoys the Bingo and Dominoes. Everyone who works at Legacy is very friendly and always available to assist in any way. I have not eaten the food but my mother loves it and they always offer choices if the resident does not like what is being served that meal. Love the flexibility.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mother. This is a nice community but not as nice as some of the others I toured. The reason why I liked this facility is that it’s smaller and my mom wouldn’t have gotten lost. However, it just wasn’t the perfect fit for her. The building is well kept and the rooms have a kitchenette in them. All of the residents I saw seemed to be really happy but they didn’t have very many activities to do. The person who gave me the tour was very nice and knew everyone by name. I would recommend this facility to other families.

My momma is in this homey feeling community. I love the fact that she gets physical therapy 3x a week. They always keep her clean.Momma loves this place and we thought she would have trouble adjusting but it's been great. The staff is nice and friendly. It stays spotless in all areas. They engage here to join in the activities, she has gone to the church services on Wednesday and Sunday. The memory care unit has an enclosed courtyard. If I notice something that needs to happen they are so accommodating to me to make sure it is taken care of. I would recommend this community.

I went on a tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions. I was impressed with this community. The rooms were spacious and they had 24/7 nursing care and level 2 wound care. They didn't offer christian activities here. And it was furnished and we were looking for that. We just chose another place. I would recommend families to tour this before making a decision.

The staff at Brookdale Gig Harbor was very supportive to my mother [Removed] and her family in her final hours. My mom loved living at Brookdale and she felt loved and well – cared for by the Brookdale team and enjoyed her many Brookdale friendships. Thank you from [Removed] Family.

The staff team here has been great and I have no complaints. During the process of them reassessing my love one they have been very communicative and supportive. They do provide activities for residents to participate in to stimulate and engage themselves. My love on has home care people coming doing her physically therapy from a different company. As far as Brookdale goes, hey certainly offer all of that. They really are a great facility and I’m very impressed. Even if little issues come up they call us right away and they let us know what’s going on. I absolutely recommend this location.
