My Sister has Alzheimer's and i just couldn't take care of her anymore and I felt so guilty about having to move her to the Alz. unit here. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Brookdale staff for helping me through the process. They have many functions that help families going through this and I can't tell you how happy I am knowing my Sister is in excellent hands. I even get to stay with my Sister overnight which is such a comfort.

I am very happy with where I live. Everyone is very nice. The food is always good. I like that they have a beauty shop where I can get my hair done and manicures and pedicures done because I can't drive anymore. They always have a bus that runs but I prefer to get it done here. I volunteered at this community and was very impressed with how well the residents had been taken care of. I could not believe how many different activities they had to offer for the residents. The food was excellent and the different entrees they could choose from. When the time comes I will make sure my parents are offered the choice of Brookdale 1st.

This is a first-rate facility! By far the best I have seen (6). a) The building is prettier than an art museum-- far superior to any hotel/facility I've seen (this compares over 100's of hotels, motels, etc) b) The people who work here are superb! Friendly, knowledgeable, and willing and able to do anything they can to make the residents/guests comfortable. c) I ate the best meal I've ever had in a restaurant (+ I'm 80) d)Even the library and extension book shelved throughout the facility are good. Not the $5/wheel borrow-load books that are in other facilities I've known.

The staff and facility are awesome! So helpful and kind, even when my mother causes issues with her behavior. The food is really good and mom's happy about that. They get mom to participate when she's never done anything at her last place, so I'm Thrilled! Great job everyone!
