Very negative experience secondary to their business practices. Badly overcharged and lied to. They give a move out date, and say there will be no further charge, and then they claim you owe them for at least two more weeks citing a different move out date than the one you agreed to.

-STAFF My sister-in-law doesn't receive care as promised by her assigned care plan without a fight or alot of drama. Everytime I visit or speak with them this is an issue. We have met with management several times and it seems improvement in care is always very short lived. -LAUNDRY AND CLEANING SERVICES My brother has to inventory their dirty laundry every Sunday because staff keeps losing their clothes and other items. Housekeeping could do a better job cleaning the rooms. -ACTIVITIES my family members don't attend the activities BUT I do follow the Pegasus Facebook page and I believe they try to have fun and stimulating activities. -ROOM SIZE The apartment is roomy as compared to others we visited. -FACILITIES My brother has complained of water leaks several times. Maintenance has worked to minimize the inconvenience of this. -FOOD Every time I have eaten with my family members there the food has been cold. My family members also frequently complain about the food being cold when it reaches the table. -MANAGEMENT Please remember your the professionals when it comes to the care of elderly and act like it! Keep your promises that you make when meeting with residents and family members.

Wouldn't recommend. Way too expensive and they raised the rent. Moved my dad out after six months. There was a broken pipe on the third floor. He was on the first floor. They tore apart his walls and it was a mess and they didn't offer any sort of alternative or a reduction on rent.

Many of the move in assistance wasn't there. I understood that they would help, for a fee, to hang pictures, mount TVs to the wall etc. and that was through a 3rd party I found out after they had moved in. They also added levels of care, "3" to my uncle, with ZERO added assistance, except monitoring or watching him. This was an added [Amount removed]. The people at the facility have been very nice. The facility is clean! The rooms are nice. The activities are great. They are very happy with the food! And happy hour.

The care staff is friendly, efficient, and kind. The food is often mediocre, apartment size is of 3 varieties. Some are shabby and could be cleaner.

Don't expect them to take care of your family member..stay on top of everything and check on everything they are doing for your loved one...they do NOT CARE THE WAY THEY SAY THEY DO!!!

Cleanliness is excellent. Room size average. My relative states the food is good and she is a very picky eater. Nursing staff appear competent.

Would probably recommend if they were healthy. Reasonably priced, which is why I chose them.

The Landing at Queensbury is a great choice for independent people. Their own apartment, good food, social activities.

Nice place to live but, they raise your rent every January. I had lived here only 5 months in January and my rent was raised at $[removed] per month. Also has the atmosphere of a nursing home. I'm moving in April.

No place is perfect. We need them to take good care of mom. Which they do. Early on, there was a care giver who was just loud which triggers mom. She is still loud. But, she is trying to better understand mom and realized mom likes to do work. I would still recommend Pegasus. It has caring and respectful people who are trying to create a good community.

They kept our money, but only provided 3 days service for two months pay. They didn't tell me they would not take her back from the hospital until it came time for her to be released, although they had made the decision before they collected the second month's payment! The facility was excellent, except they didn't keep us informed, and they charged us for services not provided!

Most everyone that I have interacted with seems very friendly and I like the look of their calendar of activities. There are many things on there that my mother is interested in and I look forward to her taking part in those. I do feel like there is some communication breakdown between us and the staff and between the morning and evening shifts.

This is assisted living and their loved one must be able to advocate for themselves fully in this environment in order to have their needs met. Patient rights in this facility include patients being able to order and eat whatever they like including a doctor ordered diet or if patient medical condition and restrictions exist. The patient asking for it trumps all other documentation and orders.

Staff has been attentive and pretty good. We have to stay on them about checking on my mom bc she tends to stay in her room a lot. They're great with bathing her and keeping her room very clean including her bedding and laundry.

The food was not good. They only had one nurse on hand who asked questions about my complaints and then wanted to send me to the ER. I recommend that they have a nurse practitioner who can be called to evaluate a patient and administer medication if needed. Spending hours in the ER and then being released is not helpful. The studio for Independent Living was very nice. The cliques of older people were not accepting of me as a friend so I was very lonely and eventually checked myself after 9 months.

The facilities are old, yes, but well-maintained. The staff is indeed crazy kind and receptive to the needs of the residents. But there are hidden problems you should know about before choosing to live here. You do not sign a lease, you sign a monthly agreement. As such, your rent/fee is subject to change on a whim. The agreement you sign seems to be meaningless, as no one refers back to it. There are several clauses in the agreement that I should've taken more seriously. e.g., You cannot retain an attorney nor involve a judge if you feel it necessary. Only mediation, at your cost. Big Red Flag. According to the business office, sales and business don't communicate because it's "a conflict of interest". They want to be able to pull your rent/fee from a checking account, but they never have any idea what that dollar figure is, so they either don't draft or try to draft an incredibly large dollar amount. All blame is on corporate for the egregious bills they send and the lack of draft

I most appreciate the friendliness and competence of the staff. The building is over 25 years old and the apartments could use some "refreshing". Yes, I would recommend it to others.

Liked the size of the apartment and my family members seem to like the food. Both my family members like the Physical Therapy staff. We have had ALOT of problems with care staff (mostly at night). We have involved the Director and she is working to improve care for our family members. We looked at 10 places before deciding. Every place talked about the first 30 days being an "adjustment" period for the resident, staff, and family. This is very real and very true. You must monitor the care and stay in communication with your loved one and the management if things are not as promised.

There has been a lot of frequent staff turnover where health details for my Dad have not been consistently relayed. Additionally--there have been a number of price increases since our initial enrollment--some have been erroneous and I've been able to get corrected, but I have to scrutinize every bill because of charges being slipped in.
