I think there some things that could be better, but time will tell under new management.

A real assessment of need versus what they can offer should be considered. It was over sold to us. It was expected to be more care and there just wasn't. The food wasn't great. They had their meals in styrofoam boxes delivered to his room and no meals in the dining room at all. There was never any activities for my loved one. He never left his room.

The staff was nice, didn't care for the community.

the staffing retention at this community was one of their biggest issues. cleanliness was also an issue as well. i do believe they tried their best with the residents who were mobile; but i found that they could not handle my loved ones level of care, despite their claims that they could. if you or your loved one is looking for an assisted living apartment at this community, it may be a good place. if you or your loved one needs memory care or advanced levels of care, i would not recommend based on my experience.

The worst part is the food. I've not been down to the cafeteria, and the quality might be better there than it is now with delivery to the rooms. With delivery, it's always cold. They do a good job with cleaning and changing sheets. But overall I think it's overpriced here.

The community is inefficient and has unpredictable care. The community is unresponsive to feedback, and the nursing staff is unavailable and inaccurate and their record-keeping is not good. They are not an advocate for the residence. The pricing was higher than other communities in the area. I would not recommend this community until there are major changes.

The hands on care was great. It was just poorly managed, with poor communication and poor leadership.

They have a new director. This assisted living just offers assistance with activities of daily living. My mom needs more care than they can provide. If your loved one needs more that the minimum care, this place is not for you. The food is okay and they offer a variety but during COVID meals are served in the room and that further diminishes the food quality.

Not Sure yet. My mother has been there two months. She has reported at least 4 times going to activities that were listed on the calendar and sitting there and nobody showing up, and then asking at the front desk and being told by staff they'd 'go find out' and then the staff never returned to tell her. Also reports understaffing, no staff to serve meals so the front manager had to come to the dining room to help serve. Salads served with wilted dead lettuce. We are paying for bathing service and my mother reports they have not been coming to assist her as they are supposed to so she has not been bathing, or she has been going in to do it herself which she should not do. Since that old lady died of scabies in the other Georgia home and the state did not investigate that home as they were supposed to, I'm very nervous about any failings such as the above as it shows they are not on the ball, and then I have to worry how not on the ball are they. I put good for the activities because when they happen they are great. My mother loves the musicians that come in. She's enjoyed the befit classes. She has made friends and met some really interesting and good and sweet people, so all these things are a relief to me. But the other stuff needs to be improved for me to feel my mother is safe. I just spent 20 minutes on the phone with her waiting for someone to come after she'd buzzed for someone to find out if they could help her with a bath (they were supposed to assist her yesterday and no one ever showed up.) and this time, no one ever showed up to her buzzing. So she had to go try to bathe herself. The fact the above things go on though shows a lack of respect to the elderly. If they think they won't report it to their families? Will we not find out they are not bathing our mother? We will not be there to witness them giving my mother a plate of salad that is dead and wilted and black?

Patients much older and facility too expensive.

I toured this community and as soon as I walked in I was ready to walk out. The odor when you walk in will knock you over almost. The staff was really nice and answered all of my questions. It is a older community and the lighting was bad. If they would do some refurbishing it would do wonders. Just not the place for my mom.

My relative lived here for a couple of years until passing away. The care staff and dining staff are very friendly, but I could never remember anyone's name (thank goodness for the nametags!) because they come and go so fast! The website says they are so close to Lake Tahoe, a favorite place of the residents, yet they never went on an outing during the 2+ years my relative was there! The food was terrible, it tasted like cafeteria food. When we toured the place, I was very impressed, but after moving in it was such a huge disappointment. Management just did not seem to care; it seemed that every time I tried to find the Director she was unavailable.

I was not impressed with this community. It was a bit out dated and the carpet needed to be changed. Also the units were not very nice. I did see the residents doing a group activity and they gave us a good tour. We just did not like the community look itself.

The staff here is nice. They could use alittle more training in a few areas. They did not have activities that were available to help keep my mom active. The community was very clean. We did like the food that was served with a good variety. I would recommend this community only if others were more independent.

The staff and the community here I was not impressed. They are severely understaffed and really could use help. The people were always late to see what my loved one needed or would not come at all. My loved one also got sick due to the lack of attention. The community itself was clean and neat, but that is the only good thing that I can say about this place. I have taken my loved one out of here.

Mom was only in this community for almost 3 weeks. The staff are nice but some of them were not very compassionate. Sometimes she did not get her medication. I did have a companion with her and she said that the staff did not check on her. The community is clean. The food is ok, however the food was usually cold by the time she got it. They had a lot of activities but I do not think they were geared towards alzheimer's patients.

This is a nice community with good staff. At times they might not have alot of staff available. The food is good and a variety. They do offer activities for those who want to participate to stay active. I would review all aspects of this community for other family members.

Assisted living only.

My parent lived here for almost a year. The facility is okay, but the level of care and communication is lacking. The food was less than desirable. The administrative staff and nursing were poor communicators and found them to be very fake in personality. Customer satisfaction is not a priority. I would not recommend a Brookdale facility. They are another "big corporation".

When I went to visit there was no security and no on in the lobby to talk to or take me on a tour. I stayed around while & no one ever showed up so I left. No interest to look further in this situation where there is no security. Also it didn't have much of outdoor area for residents to sit outside
