This was a nice community. It wasn't the right fit for my loved one.

We chose The Village at Rancho Salona because it closer to my dads wifes house so it was convenient. I have found the staff to be very friendly. The facility looks like it is well kept, although my dad has had his shower plug up and there was a trip hazard in his room. Both of those things have since then been fixed though. Overall I think it is a good place and I would recommend it to others looking.

The staff seem to be very friendly, and they seem to be on top of my mother's care. When she has an issue, they take care of it. And my mother tells me that the meals are very good.

There's always room for improvement, but Whispering Winds is an amazing facility. We love them. The meals are pretty good, although our loved one wishes the portions were a little bigger. They have a lot of activities. The cost is high, but we did our research, and they're on par with everybody else. They're even a little lower on the assisted care level compared to other places in the area. Make sure you understand how the payment process works because we misunderstood that in the beginning - that 's on the insurance company and not on Whispering Winds. But it would be nice if Whispering Winds' orientation included those types of FAQs.

What we really like about Broadway Mesa Village is the staff team and the care giver team - they are fantastic. We do think they could improve on their overall communication with family's but we would recommend this community to other families.

I would have given it a 5, but the responsiveness of the business office is disappointing. The facility is clean. Staff are very friendly. Quality of care of good. Food is good. Activities are a bit boring. It is a good value. They are also pet friendly!

I ultimately choose to this community for my loved one to move into. The lighting of the community was wonderful and bright and light. All the residents were wanting to talk to us during the tour. The location of the community is good and has beautiful grounds with a park nearby. My loved one enjoys the meals. There are three meals a day served to the residents Monday through Friday and there are choices for the residents to choose from. There is a menu and then the staff serve the residents. There is a weekend buffet on Saturday and Sunday, and the residents can also take a to go container back to their room for dinner.

It seems to be very nice and clean. My loved one likes the food. A lot of times the activities, that my loved one is interested in get canceled, such as art classes-, and line dancing. I picked this community because of the convenience, and access to the mall and different shops. It's a safe place to be, and I am happy. I would recommend to other families. It's very nice, we like the different gardens that they have. It's a beautiful place.

We chose The Renaissance of Florence because it was very close to where I live and she had actually been there before - so there were things we already knew about the facility and we felt comfortable with them. So far the staff have all been great. I really like the fact that they have care partners in addition to a nurse. They are the ones who do the regular daily living activities and care with the residents. They are much better in staffing levels and the nurse focuses more on the medications and then they have a wellness director too. Having these different levels lets them really focus in on the residents and what they need. I would recommend this facility to others looking.

Great dining, friendliness, cleanliness and activities ?? They seem to have trouble finding and keeping good maintenance staff, so getting things done can take awhile.

The atmosphere is friendly as well as the residents. It helps if you're an outgoing person and willing to engage with the other residents. I am very disappointed in the meal situation though. They only make a certain amount of food and if you don't get there at the start of the meals, you only have a choice of what is left. The other day I got to the Bistro at 4:30, waited in a long line (that's fine), only to see the person in front of me get the last of the baked beans. They already ran out of the sweet potatoes they were serving. They had no intention of making more, so I'm not sure what the other residents would eat when they came down. This is not the first time they ran out of food...it's an everyday occurrence. Also, the water has been turned off numerous times in the 6 months my mom has been there. When it gets turned off, it's off all day, not just an hour or two. The dryers closest to her apartment have not been working for months now, so we have to go half way around the building or a different floor to do laundry. They are currently in the 2nd week (estimated to take 3 weeks) of fixing the elevator closest to her, so again, she has to go half way around the building and back again just to get to the front office. When we signed for her to live there, we were told we would get a free month if the apartment wasn't ready by the first. And then we were told we would get a free month anyway. It was ready before the first, so they said no to the free month, but we fought it and they gave it to us. They raised the rent after only 6 months, which I don't feel is right either.

We had a good tour at Broadway Mesa Village. The staff were very friendly. It was an older facility, with individual heating/AC units like you would find in a hotel. It was still a lovely place, just not as updated as we were looking for.

The staff is great from top to bottom, very helpful and caring.

There seems to be a serious lack of outside activities for example the residents should be driven weekly to a grocery store to buy necessities like toothpaste toilet paper body care etc. I am in talks with them right now to improve that

The staff are very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Memorial City to others looking.

The cleanliness is real good. The food is horrible. The food needs to improve. The people are so nice, and we play games all the time. The value for the money is real good. I picked this community, because I did not like the previous place where I lived. I feel safe here, because it’s enclosed. I would recommend to other families. They go all out for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The administration, staff and other residents are very friendly and helpful. I love that everyone has a live and let live attitude. If I want to come down to pick up my breakfast in my pajamas, nobody cares. I like that I can carry out my normal routines without judgement. Everyone is very nice.

I toured this community and it was comparable to others in the area. This one was further from home, so we decided to go with a closer facility.

This was my second choice, we didn’t go with this community because we wanted more space for my loved one to be able to walk around without getting lost.
