For our family we thought this community was too far for us. It didn't meet the needs for a move-in. It is suitable for a family with different needs.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this community. The property was absolutely lovely and they had a lot of great amenities available throughout the entire building. The common and dinning room area where spacious as well as nicely presented. The staff where very kind and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. They just did not have the availability that we needed at the time.

The facility was fine. It was clean and the people friendly. But it felt more like a nursing home. The food looked less than exciting. We are looking for something more vibrant and alive for my father and his wife.

This was a fairly nice facility when we toured. The facility was clean and the staff were nice. However, my father's room would not have a balcony if he would have moved in here. It was also a bit out of our price range, so we did not move my father here.

This was a fine facility, but we did not like it as much as the facility we ended up choosing. The rooms seemed a bit small, and it seemed like more of an assisted living facility, which is what we were not looking for for my loved one.

This facility was just fine. It seemed well maintained and the staff is friendly. My primary concern was the fact that the layout of the facility seemed a bit choppy, which would make it difficult for my loved one to get around.

I would recommend that everyone get things in writing.There seems to be a lot of additional charges for care and they are expensive. I will say the facility is nice and the people are very kind and patient towards my mother.

Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks seemed very institutional and too large for my aunt's needs.

I mainly chose this community because of the accommodations for my dogs. They have some activities available for the residents and they are okay. The meals and meal services are okay. When we are eating dinner, they bring desert before clearing the table, on there is a pile of dirty dishes next to the deserts.

ready to move in. Price above our range at 3200 for a one bedroom. They can keep her in the brookdale system by moving her to the South Hill Facility which accepts medicaid when she runs out. VISIT FACILITY??

The girls in the front are very sweet. The rest of the place is very nice. They could pay more attention to the patients in Memory Care. If they don't want to eat try to feed them.At least try to feed them a bite or two. One day I asked if my husband was hungry and he was starving, he cleaned his plate. They should have cameras in the memory care. I think they could spend more time with the patients instead of being on their cell phones and eating. They should be more encouraging.Instead of asking "would you like take a bath?" they should try saying something like " C'mon lets go take a bath." They should be more motivating instead of asking the residents what they want to do and accepting no for an answer. He isn't participating in any activities. They have a fenced in area with swings and they let should the patients out in the sun. I didn't even know they had that area until the other day. I chose this community because it was the most valuable in the area but it's even expensive and I don't know If i'm going to be able to keep my husband here.

After being charged $6300. for memory care we were presented with "extra" fees of : $275/month for being "assisted to meals" across the hallway to the chow hall. Most of the time my Mom walks around on her own - she has a walker but only it sporadically. $75/month for assisted showers. After paying $75,000.00 / year, I feel these "extra" charges should be covered.

Legacy was nice but the rooms are very, very small. All needs would be taken care of including laundry. If it every came to Mom not being able to give herself shots, we would have a problem. They cannot give them.

They were the bottom of our list. The tour was nice and they gave us jams. The staff are nice and they were educated on things. They were the best at explaining cost, the process, and about medicare. The building was older and the carpet looked worn. The price was also higher than everyone else.

The community is lovely. However the staff was not helpful at all. There were certain things that the staff needed to do for my loved one and it never got done. The director kept telling me that they were understaffed and I feel that, that is not my problem. The communities job is to take care of my loved one. They left my loved one without being turned and fed properly. Me and my family would have to go to Brookdale Apple Valley everyday to make sure that our loved one was getting fed. Also the Director seemed hesitant about working with certain people that I had requested. I would not recommend this place.

The tour I had went fine for me. I was able to get all the information about the community. It seemed nice and clean. The people were good too. Overall, I thought it wasn't as good.

The community at Legacy at Crystal Falls is beautiful. The staff are very nice and friendly. The community offers a variety of activities for the residents to enjoy themselves and socialize with other residents. They are currently going through some staff changes and this is why I rated it a three at this time. They can be inconsistent with their services and care due to the lack of staff.

So far my mother is doing very well here at this community. The staff for the most part is good, but there are some staff members that could use some improvement. They do a good job with the cleanliness, her room and the community are well maintained. There are activities offered. The food is decent, but they could have better quality food, and more of a variety of choices too choose from. Overall everything is working out well and I would recommend this community.

I didn't like that it seemed real dark. I liked the staff snd the fact that the restaurant was always open.

My father-in-law isn't staying her anymore because I felt the dementia care was not adequate enough. The community is very nice, clean, and have nice people around. While staying here, there was not much involvement and this really disappointed me. The meals were suitable and tasted okay. My father-in-law was also provided with room cleaning services so that was a plus. Overall I like the community, it is a good place.
