Legacy of the South Plains was very nice, but was far too big. We didn't like that the staff had us touring residents' rooms without their permission.

I toured with The Seasons of Reno and did not really get to see anything but the front entrance and the room we would have. They wanted to isolate her for a week when she moved in, they also would only show me her room which I did not like how she had to step up to get into the shower. It did not feel like family there.

We really do think The Legacy at Long Meadow is a great facility and the staff really do try their best. We really do like the staff members, they are very nice and they seem like they have been there for a long time - they do not have a high turnover rate. They do really good when it comes to the activities. However it is the expensive and our loved one along with other residents do not like the meals - they do not like the presentation, the food comes out cold and it seems to be the same thing over and over and over.

It is not as organized as I would have liked. Some services that we are paying for are not happening as they should and the staff have dropped the ball because of communication issues. There have been some confusion with medications as well. The staff are all very nice and they are trying their best. Overall there are just some areas that they need to improve on - they are going through growing pains and we are hoping to see some improvements in the future.

Magnolia Place of Roswell is going through a transition at the moment. There are a lot of new staff members. I will say the activities director is AWESOME. She did a Falalalala Christmas event and it was great. The rehab here is pretty good as well. It is more expensive than we would like. Overall there are pros and cons. We are hoping with the transition that there will be some improvements.

My parents are ok with the accommodations and food. It seems like there has been quite a few changes with the new ownership. I'm still not 100% sure they have the billing correct. They are accommodating but the family needs to drive the conversations because communication is somewhat fragmented.

The rooms were spacious and the location is central for family. However, the building is old and needs some renovation: shower control constantly sticks and we have had to request that pink slime be cleaned from shower. It took several months to get staff to refill my parents water cup regularly. Carpet on 2nd floor is dirty and stained. They have activities, but my parents do not participate.

Parmer Woods is a really nice community but just like everyone else they are suffering with staffing shortages. Some of the staff members there are incredibly friendly and reliable and others unfortunately are not. Our loved one says the residents are all very kind and really look out for one another and we have to agree with that from what we have seen and we are happy to hear the residents stick with one another. They could be better with communication and quicker response times with the families

We would recommend the North Point Village community to other families but there are definitely some areas they could work to improve on. Our move in process was a disaster - from the scheduling conflicts to them letting us know last minute we needed things signed and approved before we could move in. They could have a more organized and clear onboarding process .

The facade is nice. The people are pleasant. But they are understaffed for the number of residents. The staff are nice - they're just overloaded. Maintenance has been slow. We went without hot water for five days, which is not acceptable. There were things that were not working or up to code when we moved in. I would not chose this place for anyone I care about.

I toured this community. It was newer and the appearance of the overall facility was impressive. The sales rep was kind of pushy, it sort of felt like working with a car salesman. They seemed to be a little bit understaffed, but I think that's everywhere right now. They have motion detectors in each room that alerts them about things like the resident being in the restroom for too long and maybe needing to be checked on. It sounds good, but our concern was that if there were an emergency the response time could actually be delayed because of that. I don't know, I just had mixed feelings about it. The memory care unit seemed small and cramped, I think it's a better fit for assisted living.

We toured with The Legacy at South Plains and from what we saw, it was actually the complete opposite of the facility that we ended up going with. The facility is very large and has more of a hotel feel to it. We were wanting something more comfortable and homey. Also during the tour we did not see anybody out and about, all of the residents were in their rooms.

We we’re greeted by the front office staff when visiting. It seems to be well kept building. After visiting with the marketer and walking the Community. It just did not have a feel of a Independent Senior Home. It had more of a feel as higher care unit with no nursing staff Available. I Was able to get the input of a few lady’s who said “ Things could be better, If they quit changing the head honcho.” and “ Corp does not care for the seniors.” I ask my dad how did it make him feel he said it was to depressing.

We toured with Dunwoody Place and did not feel they sold the facility very well. They did not offer 3 meals a day, 5 days a week which is something we wanted. They also did not offer free gym memberships like some others did. It did not fit our needs because of the lack of amenities offered.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour but overall it was just not going to fit our loved ones needs,

We thought it was going to be a good fit; however, when we toured it, we felt it wouldn't be the best fit for our loved one. The primarily gave us a tour of the assisted living area and we needed memory care for our loved one.

I would recommend you be careful about moving here. There are cockroaches in my apartment for the last month, and the community has been working with me in trying to get this resolved. It has gotten better; however, they are trying to finish getting the rest of them out of my apartment. The staff have gotten better at communicating with the residents when we have questions or concerns.

Nothing to say

very much like the caregivers. The showers are not ADA in the studios and its difficult to fit a shower chair in the shower. Maintenance is the biggest problem. Waited 2 months for light bulbs to be changed, still waiting for a closet door 4 months later and waiting 6 months for carpet cleaning. Housekeeping is a hit or miss. Getting very tired of paying high prices and getting what I pay for! Top management could be more friendly too. Receptionist are fabulous!

Response is swift when problems arise. Front desk people are helpful abs activity director amazing.
