I am writing to bring some concerns to your attention regarding the care . - **High employee turnover**: There seems to be frequent changes in staff, which affects the consistency of care. - **Time management**: It often takes too long for the staff to respond to the call button. - **Laundry handling**: Clothes are often left in baskets, making it difficult to know which are clean and which are dirty. - **Cleaning**: The bathroom is frequently left unclean, and overall cleanliness is inconsistent. - **Staff behavior**: Some staff members talk down to residents and their families, which is concerning. On a positive note, I am grateful for the excellent activities provided for the residents, which are truly beneficial. [name removed]in sales is an exceptional staff member who loves her residence and is a role model! [name removed]was a great member of your team I wish she could come back .

I felt they were great in all categories until my dad actually needed care after his stroke. The nursing staff is horrible, telling people they can help and then not following through. For those who are basically healthy it is a good choice. But look else where if they need any extra care

They promised more than what they provide. They are short-staffed and the meals are not what we expected. And their some of the costs were concealed until we moved her in. It's a beautiful facility, but not as it was promised.

The main comment I have is that there has been a lot of turnover in staff in the time that my mom has been there, including executive director, head of nursing, and many of the caregivers. This is problematic for a number of reason and has a negative impact on the experience my mom is having.

There is a tendency there to disempower the residents. The assumption seems to be that newcomers are not capable of making sound decisions.The food is very over-salted and also seems to increase incontinence.

When we originally toured the facility, the staff were friendly, the residents were smiling and appeared well cared for. After touring 3 other places we decided Sun City West was our best option, even knowing that it was a private facility that Medicare wouldn’t pay for. Even being aware that our father’s Alzheimer’s would progress and he would eventually need memory care, we still felt this was the best of all options. Dad made friends with several residents quickly, one woman was from Russia and she led a group of people who liked to walk. Dad walked every day for years so he fit right in. Within 2 months there were staff changes, and then dad had a stroke. This quickly propelled him to the next stage of his illness and he needed memory care. Their memory care are was closed off and very small. They did not have any activities for them to do besides watch television in the common area. They were always short-staffed. Most care givers were friendly and helpful, but we could see and the stress they were under. Dad did not do well there. He got Covid as many other residents did, it couldn’t be helped. But he also got infections because he was not being cleaned properly. We live an hour away and we would drive over several times a week to clean his room and bathe him. When we could see the situation was not improving, we started looking for another care home.

Lots of turnover. Long term ones are great. I think about 9 EDs just since our parents moved in [date removed]. Employees seem to think the issue is the micromanager Regional Mgr. Several who left and some still there have said that. [name removed](activities) works her booty off, does a great job. It's her whole life. There were price increases before they were even there for a year. Three since they moved in. Maintenance has also been revolving and I would rate 1 at most. Receptionists are excellent, but messages are forwarded and rarely acknowledged as there is no stable leadership. They have hired some amazing people, but are unable to retain most of them.

We have had some issues with the medical care but they are improving. Overall it's a fantastic place.

People hate the food. Doubt if it meets nutritional standards. They have a hard time keeping a cleaning staff. I would recommend this community to other families only for the price

I would definitely recommend Riverside Oxford Memory Care to others. Even though it is a memory care facility, I believe it skews a little more towards the nursing home care with a lot of their residents. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are clean and well taken care of. The food is good. The move-in process was easy. [Name removed], their maintenance guy was very helpful with moving in and they have a large cart to help you get everything you need in the residents' room. The only issue I have with the place is that I feel they need more activities. Especially for people with mild to moderate dementia that would benefit from more activities that use their minds.

Laketown Village is a pleasant and welcoming community...[name removed] is content there.

Super friendly and accommodating to get you in... then nothing. Once you have signed the contract they drop the act. The food issue has to do with staffing- they have been days when the cook doesn't show up. Or at least that is what we have been told. The activities offered are underwhelming. We are also in a weird situation. My aunt has dementia and was in memory care. After a month she "tested out" of memory care into AL. She rapidly declined in AL and is currently in rehab at Stratford Commons for the next 3 weeks after a week in the hospital. Her most recent fall occurred just after a phone call with the director & nursing director threatening to kick her out due to her incontinence. We were up front prior to her move that as far as we knew she was completely incontinent.

The staff at Broadway Mesa Village are friendly. The facility is clean, the food is good, and there are quite a few activities for the residents to choose from. I would recommend Broadway Mesa Village to others if the family member does not require a lot of assistance or help. The facility is understaffed and this is a recurring problem.

Quality of care at first the place was amazing now that my mother is declining. They cannot take care of her and until we find a spot for her they're trying their best. I guess so probably three. The meals are really good activities probably a three they don't always do activities and then poor people are just sitting there just staring at the walls Cleanliness one my mother's room is disgustingly dirty and I am the one that always cleans it friendly staff probably a three. My mother fell one day and had to go to the emergency room and we asked the nurse to keep an eye on my mom so she wouldn't fall again and a nurse told us that if she fell, she fell it wasn't her problem so friendliness not so good. Value for my money we pay [name removed] a month and it's absolutely definitely not worth it. I clean her room. I do her laundry because her laundry is never done as far as them giving medicine and feeding her that's about all the good for so for the value of my cost I give them a one.

Staff are friendly and competent, but there are occasional slips such as not telling us when my mother got covid. There have been a couple of unnecessary hospitalizations. Food is decent, not great, but certainly satisfying. Lately there has been a lack of activities. Many things scheduled that never happen.

Location and amenities were key for us. Price was in range. Services seemed good. Considered in home but this option was more suitable.

Ask for a daily schedule of activities for Memory care. They need more variety and quality in food and better care for memory care residents including exercise opportunities , music therapy and art besides coloring pages.

The staff is kind caring and thoughtful but human and has rules set in place that can't always be explained properly bur are followed absolutely no mater what. If you could afford to be there sure I would recommend it, no way would I be able to stay when I need to go somewhere but it would be all about the money.

I would recommend the facility. Other than the increase in rent prior to being there a year we have no complaints. I picked this community because it's pleasant and the location.

My loved one is a resident at Broadway Mesa Village and overall things have been good. We've had some issues with care services. The cleanliness and friendliness are good. Also, with the chef leaving the food was terrible and not a lot has changed. There are plenty of activities for those who want to go. The marketing person, who is gone now, definitely oversold the place.
