I think they do a lot of things well at Brookdale Mountain View. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful. The facility itself is clean and well kept. We did have a maintenance issue in my loved one's room that took multiple requests and quite a bit of time to get resolved.

Its a little early to write a full review as Mom has only been there a short time. However there are plenty of activities, large menu selection, friendly staff & neighbors. My husband & I are ready to go.

My only regret is that we did not move mother to town village sooner. Staff and residents were very attentive and made her feel very welcome. It was always so good to know she was safe and secure in a very healthy environment and that help could be there for her within seconds. I recommend it to anyone I know and infect and considering moving there when my husband and I are ready for Independent living.

My Mother lives there... its expensive, but she loves it. I'm somewhat impressed. But if she's happy that's all that matters to me. I will say this, they're food is amazing! And they're always including the families in events.

This used to be Merrill Gardens but I just didn't like their memory care. It was very small and it felt a little hospital-like. It was clean until she showed us an apartment and that wasn't her fault but the lady had a dog and it just reaked of urine and I told her too. I couldn't believe she chose to show us that apartment but it didn't affect me at all because the rest of the place was fairly clean and before all of that I didn't like it because of the memory care, it felt too claustrophobic.

Mom has been there a few weeks now and everything is going great. Everyone is very friendly. They are including her in activities and she seems to be doing well. She enjoys the food and I enjoy the feeling that she is safe and in a good place.

That was very nice but once again it was out of out price range. My dad went to see that two or three times and his comment was that there were all these sick people in the hallways. It was a lot of people parked in wheelchairs. I think they have a lot memory care patients there. I had no problem with it except for the expense part of it.

This was a Merrill Gardens when I visited it. The rooms were bigger but they had the old style AC that is big and noisy. It was not as modern and they didn't have any grounds for the folks to walk around or do anything. They has assisted living as well as independent living so it felt more like an end than a new beginning. For my father, he's not ready for that. He's just ready to give up some of the maintenance of living alone in a house or apartment but he's not ready for assisted living.

The big plus about Merrill Garden is that you can eat your meals whenever you would like. The apartments I saw were gorgeous. Management was. Very courteous when I toured, and I did not feel any pressure whatsoever.

As a new resident I have observed the functioning of the staff at Merrill Gardens At Dunwoody and rate them as always friendly and helpfull. I would like to converse with Kitchen Staff to discuss recepies and cooking methods in a friendly face to face informal meeting.

This community is in a country club type setting. The food is ok, I had previously had the beef stew which was ok but the fish with almonds I had with steamed asparagus was really good. The community is very clean and just really beautiful. It really is pleasing to the eyes. They were able to offer us a private room for a semi-private price. They have had previous activities where they took them to a lake but since haven't really heard of anything like that anymore. I would like to see them keep the residents a little more active and engaged. Overall we are satisfied with them and would recommend Emeritus at Rancho Solano.

We have had some issues with Emeritus and are not pleased. Have tried to fix the issue and they just pass the blame back and will not take responsibility even after we have tied up the loose ends. We had chose this community because it was the only assisted living community in the area we were looking. We are disatisfied with our situation and will be removing loved one from this community.

My mother, who is 92, has lived at Freedom Pointe for over a year. The facility is pretty, clean and the employees are warm and caring. They have been responsive to my requests for most things pertaining to my mother. Mother complains about the food, but I can't verify that complaint. I think it is mostly being tired of eating the same meals, over and over. This could happen anywhere. My mother does not take advantage of ANY of the activites, so I can't rate them.

The Landing at Queensbury is a great choice for independent people. Their own apartment, good food, social activities.

No place is perfect. We need them to take good care of mom. Which they do. Early on, there was a care giver who was just loud which triggers mom. She is still loud. But, she is trying to better understand mom and realized mom likes to do work. I would still recommend Pegasus. It has caring and respectful people who are trying to create a good community.

They kept our money, but only provided 3 days service for two months pay. They didn't tell me they would not take her back from the hospital until it came time for her to be released, although they had made the decision before they collected the second month's payment! The facility was excellent, except they didn't keep us informed, and they charged us for services not provided!

Most everyone that I have interacted with seems very friendly and I like the look of their calendar of activities. There are many things on there that my mother is interested in and I look forward to her taking part in those. I do feel like there is some communication breakdown between us and the staff and between the morning and evening shifts.

This is assisted living and their loved one must be able to advocate for themselves fully in this environment in order to have their needs met. Patient rights in this facility include patients being able to order and eat whatever they like including a doctor ordered diet or if patient medical condition and restrictions exist. The patient asking for it trumps all other documentation and orders.

Staff has been attentive and pretty good. We have to stay on them about checking on my mom bc she tends to stay in her room a lot. They're great with bathing her and keeping her room very clean including her bedding and laundry.

The food was not good. They only had one nurse on hand who asked questions about my complaints and then wanted to send me to the ER. I recommend that they have a nurse practitioner who can be called to evaluate a patient and administer medication if needed. Spending hours in the ER and then being released is not helpful. The studio for Independent Living was very nice. The cliques of older people were not accepting of me as a friend so I was very lonely and eventually checked myself after 9 months.
