The Oaks is the place where seniors will enjoy beautifully maintained surroundings, chances to make new friends, and concerned staff attentive to resident's needs, as well as providing a host of fun activities. Visiting the Oaks, I found the best senior residence for me.

Everyone was very friendly & thorough. Staff new the names of every resident we passed. It was a very pleasant experience and a very nice property.

I would give Brookdale Pecan Park a solid 5 stars. The community was welcoming and thoughtful during my mom’s arrival. The Executive Director was generous with her time, guiding our family through this important transition. The staff provided helpful assistance and great suggestions to help Mom settle in smoothly. The Marketing Director was very responsive and supportive, answering our questions and helping with the paperwork.

Nothing is perfect but they are close to it. The place is bright and cheerful and the staff seems to truly care. I have recommended Laketown to several people. Both of my parents are here. I sleep better at night knowing help is only a button push away. AND the food is very good!

The food is top notch! The staff is very friendly and responsive. Brookdale has everything mom could ever need. She is happier there than I have seen her in a long time. It is a great value for the money, the food is great, and there are plenty of things to do there.

I would say a rating of 5 if you need assistance. I would prefer independent living. But I had to leave my house due to water damage. The staff are very helpful. I am taking advantage of the therapy.

Moving in a weekend went smoothly and I have already met some of my neighbors. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It’s a big place and I might get lost easily but I have met my move in coordinator and she seems very informational. No complains so it’s been perfect.

Great place, great facilities, great staff, and wonderful residences. Very friendly and a very “happy” vibe to it. Mom loves it there! And their director [name removed] is awesome! Mom initially was very hesitant and sad to go in, but it was time. She soon made new friends, became active and was very happy. And it gave me peace of mind that she was well looked after. Highly recommend Creston Village.

The admin and staff have been very helpful getting my parents settled in and working with us on my mom's needs as she battles lymphoma and my father as he gets deeper into Alzheimer’s. Very caring staff and nice facilities

A Place for Mom recommended several facilities and we toured them all. It was narrowed down to Brookdale - First Colony and [community removed]. At Brookdale- First Colony we were treated like a valued guest. We were provided lunch and all of our questions were answered. Brookdale - First Colony took the time to find my father’s needs as well as treating him with respect and dignity. We are so impressed with A Place for Mom and Brookdale - First Colony and recommend them very enthusiasticly.

I can only speak to cleanliness, no concerns there. Staff is very accommodating. My MIL has settled in nicely and loves it there.

Staff helpful and address issues as they come up. Some issues may take longer to resolve, but they get fixed if you keep letting them know. Friendly staff. Felt like family when first visiting and still do.

The people there seem universally very nice and the management staff was very accommodating. The facility seems to be very well run and organized. The in-take process was very smooth. The facility is very clean.
