My 88yr old mother fell and broke her hip in January and has not fully recovered. She is wheelchair bound but able to take care of herself for the most part. She was in assisted living (several places) and had horrible experiences and then I found Ridgmar Place! It’s Independent Living, but they partner with a company that provides caregiver services so it’s perfect! And it’s more affordable that all the other places. They have a doctor that makes rounds, a nearby pharmacy that delivers and tons of activities. The food is really good as well. Best of all is the friendly staff. I cannot say enough good things about [name removed], highly recommend!

Only complaint is the elevators. We picked them because of the value. I would recommend to others, it has been a great experience.

I needed a place for my husband to be taken care of while he was continuing to recover from brain surgery. I looked at many and called various others with no luck. I got positive response from the Rivers. Went there to discuss placing him there and looking the place over. I was very pleased with what they have to offer and the tour of the facility was wonderful. I have a place for him at the Rivers.

Moved my parents in here a couple of years ago, and they have had the greatest experience. The staff are all friendly, and genuinely show that they care. I would highly recommend South Hill Village!

Great place for assisted living. Many activities and food is good. They care about their clients. We picked them because of the clean smell up updated common areas.

I have been a resident at The Havens of Antelope Valley for three years. I highly recommend this facility to anyone. The Facility provides 3 Nutritious meals each day. The Staff is always helpful and friendly. there is always a Staff Member to assist Residents in an emergency situation.

My mom moved into this Assisted Living facility in April. In July she had a mental breakdown of sorts. For 2 months she was not herself. She required much more than the “normal” care she was supposed to receive. The caretakers went above and beyond and worked hand in hand with me while we awaited a diagnosis. They encouraged me that she would return to her old self saying she just needed time. It took about 2 months for her neurologist to figure out the correct meds needed. She still has some confusion but is almost back to normal (she is almost 90 years old). Not every facility would have been so compassionate towards my mom or myself. I am eternally grateful for the heart they have for their residents. My mom loves it there and is happy. That’s pretty much all that matters to me! I’m also excited because the new owners are making great improvements to the facility. Go check it out!!!

There have been some hiccups over the last 2+ years, but overall she's been happy there and right now things are going well. The activities director is great, she keeps them pretty busy. The ED is trying some new things and seems to care, there has been some turnover in this position, hopefully he'll stick around awhile. And the others that are on the administrative staff seem to be caring and wanting to do a good job. The folks in the kitchen are wonderful and helpful. The folks that do the cleaning and laundry have been doing a good job. Hope this helps

The team at The Village at Rancho Solano Memory care have consistent exceptional care and compassion with smiles for all their guests/clients including my wife. I’ve been quite pleased with the team at the Village since the beginning from corporate, sales, nurses and caregivers that provide the compassion, care and safety for their clients. I see it and witness it regularily. Much thanks and gratitude to the Village at Rancho Solano team!

They've had some issues keeping housekeeping staff. The hallways are often unvacuumed. Also, they don't always keep up with things that need to be fixed in common areas, like fans, patios etc. The staff doesn't always participate in activities, they'll start a workout video and then disappear. And, they're often late getting started with scheduled activities. Seniors like schedules! We've been a couple of different places and are extremely happy with Legacy. We realize that where there are people working there will be issues, but they sincerely try to make things good for residents.

Our family needed a place that would provide a sense of home for mom, but with assistance readily available. Discussing moving to an assisted living community wasn’t an easy one but after thinking about it a couple weeks, Mom said she was ready to look at options. From the minute we arrived at Broadway Mesa Village, we felt welcomed. The employees were welcoming and the person showing us the various room options was very informative. We were shown the dining room (we had lunch there and she really enjoyed it), and other amenities and regularly scheduled social activities. When we walked into one room option, Mom yelled out “This is it! It’s Perfect”!!! Our family was so happy! It’s been several months since mom moved in and she really enjoys it at Broadway Mesa Village. She says she is blessed to have new friends, including employees that have been fabulous in helping her whenever needed. Her room is kept spotless, laundry done weekly, and plenty of food options available.

Northpoint has been so good for my mother. When she came there, she was malnutritioned and non-communicative. Now she has color in her face and she is smiling again. The staff is fabulous. There are some real angels that work there and they really invest themselves into the residents.

We are happy and satisfied. It is very clean here. The staff is very friendly and attentive to my moms needs.

Highly recommend using this service. All areas above 5, except meals and dining 2 (slow service, small portions, few selections, food arrives Luke warm). We suspect small work force in Santa Fe.

I would say I felt very at home and confident that my mom was being taken care of with friendly care workers and med-techs. People in the offices were very helpful and friendly and took the time with you. The activities kept my mom busy with things to do. At this time of life as you get older, it can be challenging but I feel her care here was worth the money at that time.

Don't be afraid to ask questions about anything that isn't clear. We chose the Courtyards at Mountain View because it has memory care, which is something my sister will need eventually. The other places I toured did not have that.

[name removed] is great sales person. Food is good. Facility lovely. Apartments are an excellent size. Great amenities offered. It is high priced.

Ridgemar Place is a beautiful building inside. They are working on making outside better so construction Crews are around al but take care in respecting residents. So it is a safe environment.

I really like the value for the dollar and the apartments are spacious and light filled too. Nice staff.
