Were scheduled for 5/3/13 move in but when she was evaluated they didn't think she was a good fit for AL. We went back to RPointe to look at memory care, we like the private room but we're not ready to put her there yet, she's back home for a while. We're keeping her on their MC list. Not sure how long I will be able to manage, I am getting sitters & home health starts today. I think I'll know what to do after having her in my care for a little while. So right now she's home.

The floor plans here were excellent. I like the full kitchens. Didn't get to have lunch, but the dinning area was lovely. I also liked the in house therapy rooms. the only drawback was the corridors were extremely long. Dad would have a hard time getting around there with so much walking.

Is a very nice facility. Appeared clean and staff was very friendly. Not as nice as Sunrise but is a bit cheaper in cost. Location is OK but not as good as Sunrise. The big question is the feeding. They have a separate dining area for patients that need to have help in eating. It is only made for 4 and they would have to squeeze Mom in to this area unless we think she can feed herself. All of us kids are not fond of this idea. They are attached to Sweet Life Nursing home if Mom got to a point that they could not care of her anymore.

By far the nicest living space - very large kitchen, even the studio was design so that there is separate space for bedroom area. Big card-playing room. Lots of residents (180), lots of activities/events, convenience store, bank, and large dinning area. Not super pet-friendly, but allows dogs. Biggest concern is the size - lots of walking area.

This was a very nice place, and I really liked the director for showing me everything. I realy wasn't impressed by the one bedroom apt. it was small and doesn't have a bedroom door, so there would be no privacy when guests are over. The deluxe one bedroom was awesome, but way over our budget.
