The overall experience is a 4 because their communication could be better. However, We are very happy with them ... the only thing is their communication which we're working on. It's got a good vibe when you walk in ... it doesn't scream nursing home. I feel like I'm going to my mom's house. Definitely recommend ... they are a hidden gem!

I am happy with Salida Woods. The staff and care are pleasant and helpful. The cleanliness is great, it's a one bedroom apartment. I would recommend Salida Woods to others who are currently searching for a place for their loved one.

It's alright . Price is a little high. The only way they could improve is if they lower their prices.

The staff is friendly, supportive, and always willing to help. The food is generally good, but it could benefit from a little more variety. At times, meals are not served as hot as they should be, which would improve the overall dining experience.

It has been a good experience at New Perspective. Mom is happy and doing well.

Very clean. Apartments are good size and they are updating them with nicer floors and cabinets. Staff is solid, sometimes have to advocate for information. Overall I'm pleased my mother is there. Relatively more economical than other options in the area. Good activity options.

I felt the staff was competent and very caring although I felt the facility was understaffed. I think that is a problem nationwide though.

I met with the staff at New Perspectives Roseville and found them to be incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We are in somewhat of a hurry to place my mom and the Sales & Marketing lead walked me through the admission process clearly. They have a convenient online portal to complete and upload all the required forms and documents, something I've not experienced with other places I've visited. The facilities are clean and the vibe in the building was busy and positive. Looks like some of the common rooms could use some updating, but the individual room we reserved for my mom was fully updated and modern. I also really appreciated the "SafetyU" camera systems in the private rooms to monitor for falls, etc. The building sits right on a lake with lots of good natural light/trees/plants, etc. Overall, a great place!

Overall, staff is caring and kind. Room was very nice, food was good according to the resident, and the facility has a family atmosphere. However I would caution to truly find out where your loved one would be best. The placed our loved one in a very nice room in the remodeled garden floor. At 98 years old he was much too isolated and did not get the attention he needed. He was not independent enough to be that far away from the activity. He stayed for 6 months, was out of the facility in the hospital or SNF more than he was in. We moved him into LTC. I do feel that he was under-assessed and his room placement was a sure fire way to have a failed experience. For people with a fair amount of independence I think it's a nice place but for our LO it was an extremely expensive mistake. Also the billing was in error 4/6 months so I recommend watching bills closely for errors.

The staff genuinely cared for my mother and were always willing to discuss her care and her needs, often without me initiating the conversation. They also provided suggestions for me to improve her experience.

Very friendly, more casual than many other facilities, and a straightforward pricing structure.

Very nice place, doing upgrades presently so they take pride in the place for sure. Staff was very friendly. Place is clean and tidy. Would be a great option for us and my mom.

The staff was very good to my father. They brought in superior hospice and that helped him immensely. I would recommend that for anybody that's having issues in that facility. The food definitely changed once new perspective took over from Sunrise, but that could've just been my dad's taste as well.

The food is good, short of doing room help, my cleaner is excellent, comes once a week. We are independent so we don' t need extra help. Have heard both sides some are very happy with assistant living, others don' t feel they get help they need or on time. The staff are working hard to make it a better place to live.

Pro - activities staff and aides who do daily care are wonderful. Con - head nurse is slow to respond and pharmacy partner is very slow with medication changes.

My dad is doing great! The staff is incredibly friendly. The apartment is nice and there is cleaning provided for my dad. The building site is undergoing some renovations to make it even nicer. The food is good and my dad seems satisfied with the options. Overall, the price is very good for the money as well, which is nice because so many places are very expensive.

Mixed feelings. First - I didn't think I needed to be there and that is me. No reflection on New perspective. Very friendly and remembered my name from the get go - but that is as far as it went. I never felt like a member of the community. Management was professional and helpful but the staff seems to need more training. Staff was friendly and polite but many times did not know how to help me (side bar: I had trouble getting from vertical to horizontal and could not get off the floor if I fell). Not one staff member used the standard strap to help me (except the nurse) even though I was assured they had all been trained to use it. Second; the time between pushing the help button and getting help most times was way too long (once over an hour and then only got help because a staff member entered for a totally different reason). Food was good and waiter staff were excellent. The food was great and I can't say enough good things about wait staff. My only complaint is when I pushed the need help button it took way too long to respond. I brought this up with management and they responded by using my button and called for help which showed up within minutes.

Close to my home, beautiful property, friendly people, elder Waiver accepted. Beautiful studio apartment was available. It's a lovely facility but they do seem short staffed if you need alot of assistance.

Everyone is very helpful with questions. The only suggestions I might consider implementing would be a "new resident guide". It's been quite the process getting mom acclimated to the places/people/activities without one. We're relatively new to the system and I'm still figuring out the day-to-day while helping mom as much as I can. It's been challenging, it would have been nice to have a packet or something of contacts, events, processes, etc. - a New Resident Guide. Something informational for residents and their families. Overall, we're very pleased with everything New Perspective has to offer, and the people have been top-notch.
