New Perspective Senior Living

I am very pleased to have my mother living at Salida Woods. The care she is receiving is wonderful. The staff is very response to my mom as well as to me. She is on a one bedroom apartment which I think is very spacious. She has found the food to be plentiful and pretty tasty.

It had been VERY VERY NICE. All of the above have been just great ! We live in a very nice 2 bedroom apartment. I certainly would recommend to others!

I give all of these an A, lovely people very clean food is very good really and good quality. I have no complaints im very happy other then this extra charge. I would recommend Hawthorne Woods community to others based on the experience so far. I have peace for my mother she safe clean well fed and payed attention to

Facility is new and beautiful. It reminds me of a fancy hotel. The outdoor courtyard is like a resort. There are giant windows looking out to the courtyard. Residents seemed happy and active. The only negative I saw was lack of activities. The list of activities for the day I was there was: breakfast, lunch, hydration, dinner, TV. I have not seen meals included in the activities list at any other place.

They were very attentive and answered all questions. It was very nice and clean looking. Friendly people

My main reason for the high marks is their openness and compassion when deciding if NP was a good fit for my mom. She had a history of mental illness and NP, unlike to other locations like Sunrise and Ciel, were unbiased and willing to wait to evaluate my mom before making a decisions. Those other locations, and one other in Lake Zurich, would not even evaluate her! Just sad and terrible but NP and[Name Removed] and [Name Removed] were SO kind and compassionate. The open environment with skylights in memory care was also a big plus. Direct caregivers were excellent. The PT/OT staff amazing and communicated frequently with me. Apartment size in memory care was decent, but obviously a lot smaller than assisted living. Private bathroom and shower thought nice and cleaned frequently.

The staff is friendly and attentive. The facility appears clean. My aunt did not participate in any activities and did not eat in the dining room.

I would overall rate them at 5/5. The only thing I can not really rate is quality of care as we are in independent living and have not needed to access assisted living services except to do nursing evaluation for my husband and that would be rated 5/5. We do not eat in dining room so we have not experienced the dining experience.

The staff is amazing as well as all of the other tenants. The property is beautiful indoors and out. There is activities to participate in if you choose to almost every day, the food is terrific.

My dad is very comfortable and well cared for! Facility is clean, staff is caring, nurses are accessible & responsive. The dining room is lovely with a nice varied menu and alternate options always available.

I moved into New Perspective North Shore two years ago and it has become home. I have met friends that I enjoy dining with everyday. I love the buildings common areas and I enjoy sitting in the lobby when I have time. I especially enjoy the live music they bring into the community and enjoy the pub every week!

Very knowledgeable staff. They explained the process thoroughly empathetic and kind. They made my brother and I feel heard and informed.

Everyone loves my mom. The food is good. Her apartment is just right for her. There are plenty of activities for her to do and she does them. Westlake woods is very clean. Few stains on the main hall carpets throughout the facility but other than that, good.

The transition was better than expected. Staff has been great at every level, and the encouragement by the staff to do activities and during meals is appreciated.

I met with [Name removed] and she was great to talk to , took a tour of the building and really enjoyed it I like the location and have scheduled a second appointment this coming Friday with my brother. Aaron from new perspective called me yesterday to check on my recent tour also. so that was very nice. So we will meet her on Friday also. And I look forward to my second visit.

[name removed] and her staff are awesome. We had prepared a ton of questions in advance of the actual tour, submitted those in writing. They answered every one. So getting those answered made the tour icing on the cake.

Caring staff, great amenities, great community. It gives me peace of mind to know my mom is well taken care of and safe. She has made new friends with her neighbors while living here which makes us both happy! Thank you!

New Perspective is an awesome place to live. I was there for only 2 months. Was there for rehab and go home. Unfortunately, after checking in and getting moved in, my insurance refused to cover my PT. Therefore, CenterWell in home took over. They were awesome people and helped me get ready to go hssssome. The food here was very good and all the aids were very attentive and pleasant. Would recommend it.

The community is beautiful, and welcoming. what stood out most was the staffs' interactions as I walked through the community. Lots of smiles and fun in activities. It's clear they care about the resident's engagement.
