My mother indicates that she is happy there overall. She would like to see more emphasis placed on better cuisine options.

The staff was hands-down the friendliest and kindest of any facility we toured. And we still find them to be that way months later. The activities are wonderful! We wish the staff would make sure our mom changes her clothes DAILY and help her with her hygiene a bit more--helping her comb her hair, brush her teeth, and soak her dentures. We pay for the highest level of care for those reasons and would like to see that happen daily. The staff is very good to her, and even though she hasn't had the easiest time becoming acclimated, they remain very kind and good to her. We greatly appreciate that.

The care has been great. Nurses are great and medication management was our #1 priority, so we feel good about this decision. I'd say the only semi-negative review is the food. I've stayed for dinner a few times. One night was sloppy joes that were fine but they came with exactly 5 tater tots that were cold. Another was a harvest salad and it confirmed complaints of limp lettuce. It also had a strange ingredient, small clumps of squash. I expected the apples and cranberries. It was not very pleasing. I'm sure that that does not apply to every meal. My mom would complain no matter what, but for the amount people pay in this and similar facilities, the food should be fresher & taste better. I don't doubt the nutritional value, but people have to want to eat it to benefit from it.

The staff at Richland Woods is very caring and friendly. The apartments are clean and the housekeepers are so nice. The nursing staff is excellent. The food served in the dining room is always good.

Communication could be worked on like Progress reports would be helpful My mother needs sun on her skin for half an hour a day. She is unable to speak correctly so she is relying on us to communicate. Someone should ask us if we have questions like when we visit. I love the atmosphere, gathering for meals, the common area. The package we signed up for stated she gets help with a shower every week. Her hair is greasy. It doesn't look like this is happening. Laundry is better now since September, I had to leave a note to do some that had been in her closet for a month. The staff seems caring when I mention anything. I am grateful

Excercise has been getting better. Interacting with people is friendly and socialize. Interaction has been focused more because of the activities that are been done overall the last several months. This is strengthening my connection with others. Excercise is fun just need to get a bit more line with the activity.

It's a nice building. There are plenty of friendly residents, so making friends is easy. The food is mediocre, obviously bought frozen then reheated. It's expensive, but most of the other places are more expensive.

What I like the most about The Waters is the friendliness of the staff.

We chose this community because the price was good with the discount option. The quality of the restaurant staff needs improvement. Overall though I am happy with mom's care.

The center is beautifully decorated and inviting. The staff were caring and wonderful. They brought in great entertainment frequently. The only downside for us was the cost to live there. In less then a year the rent was increased 3 times for a total of 12%. That time period was during covid. If you have the money it's a wonderful environment to live in.

Highly recommend people check this place out. In the 2 months, being here we are pretty pleased, totally friendly people, and staff.

There is good engagement from the staff, but there is frequent turnovers. It is very clean here. The majority of the staff are friendly - the front office, and admin people, and the main nurses are great. But the high staff turnover is the actual care people- like the CNAs and stuff there is a lot of turnover of actual workforce that is frustrating. As far as quality of care, they do their best but the turnover in staff definitely affects care. Sometimes the new staff doesn't know what's going on and it's annoying. There does seem to be a decent amount of activities - I wish they took the residents off site more. The place is clean and the staff is nice, would be better if they had more staff control and better food.

I've lived here for almost 3 years. This was the best decision my family and I could have. I was looking for some where to live for the rest of my life. This is it. They have many different, exciting events going on constantly. We just finished a casino night. I'm looking forward to a harlem renaissance (roaring 20's) in October. They take you shopping; grocery stores and Walmart. They work with you to make everything easy and convenient. I'm an out going person and my family loves it.

Nice place, well kept and good staff. Mom likes how quiet and peaceful it is. Many activities for residents daily if interested. Everyone at Salida has been friendly and quick to answer questions about resident care. Their are several memory care facilities in the area I visited before making my decision on Salida memory care.

In recent months, lots of staff turnover and some caregivers seem not as well trained as a year ago. Main nurse now gone with replacement new hire as of a month ago. One more just started. Most caregivers don't seem to stay real long. There are a few that have, and they are good! Most are friendly. My sister is a very selective eater and eats simply and not much protein. She seldom eats in dining room, but even when she had meals brought to her room she usually ate little and complained.

We are pretty pleased with New Perspective. There are many activities to attend. We like going to swimming class. We usually attend the musical programs and enjoy the free drinks at social hour Also the donuts & muffins!

It's going well. It's very homey and people are friendly. The food is absolutely fantastic. my parents are in the independent living right now so I can't say anything about the care. The only thing that's not so hot is the cleaning. We have a new person now, but it was pretty spotty for a while. I'm guessing everyone has an issue finding cleaners.

They have a lot of management issues & a lot of staff leave so a lot of turnover.
