New Perspective Senior Living

Transition is typically not easy, or often welcome, for those leaving their home of nearly fifty years. My sister was no exception! However, the warm and welcome ambiance , the many opportunities for social interaction, the lovely apartment,, the many opportunities for social interaction, tasty nutritious meals, are just a few of the reasons why our family is confident our sister will thrive in her new Home.

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Staff has gone above and beyond. So many nice touches and the food is great. Couldn't have hoped for better.

The care the community provides for my younger brother is very good. They keep it very organized and clean. The staff are pretty friendly. They recently hired a new cook because the residents were complaining about the meals being cold. Once in awhile my brother likes to play Cribbage and go to happy hour. He likes to nap in his room. We choose this community because the cost was better than the rest.

My wife and I have picked this community for my parents for multiple reasons. During our tour we had ran into multiple residents who could not say enough good things about this place and how much they enjoy there living environment. I also really enjoyed that they have a special focus and interest on veterans, especially because my dad is a vet. My mother was thrilled when she saw they had a therapeutic pool that is available for all of the residents to use as well as other great amenities. The administration has done a great job at making accommodations for my parents living arrangements and they will have a large living room and full kitchen with a spacious bedroom.

[Removed] was great. Very helpful with answers to questions I didn't know I even had! The housing is beautiful and very affordable. Very Homey first impression. The staff and residents interacted with ease.

I am very pleased with this community, they have provided my loved one with great service and the staff have been very attentive to her needs. She is really enjoying the different tasty meals as well as the activities they have throughout the day. The company of the other residents has really made her feel welcomed and comfortable in her new living environment. I have no complaints and would defiantly recommend this place.

We were looking for a long term care facility and Brookdale Carlson Parkway was one of several places recommended by A Place For Mom based on her needs and our preferences. We toured several facilities and found this one to be the most genuine. The residents were engaged in activities and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Nothing felt forced. Mom's needs changed before she moved in and we had no problem getting her re-evaluated and moved into the memory care unit. She has since been placed on hospice and even though the hospice care givers are fabulous, the staff comes in often to check on her and is great about asking family about any concerns or thoughts they have. The staff treats her as if she were their mom??

My mom is just settling in at this community. They do have great staff members that are friendly and very helpful. The community is well taken care of. She is not always happy with the meals that are offered. Activiites are available for her, but right now she is not participating. I would still recommend this community for others.

This is a beautiful place and are considering applying. We will be looking at other places too with a decision made next week.

My mom moved in about a month ago. We have been really impressed by the ease of her transition, the friendliness of all the staff (caregivers, dining, and office staff) and the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. Almost everyday, there is at least 1 activity that is of interest to my mom. There are many activity areas. I highly recommend the Lighthouse community.

My dad is doing well since moving into this community. The staff are really friendly. The community is clean and well maintained. They offer a wide variety of healthy food choices and dad likes the food. They offer daily activities and I would recommend this community.

Mom did well in assisted living at this community. The food was good and the staff did a lovely job. They cleaned her apartment and did her laundry. They do have memory care here but we moved her from here as we wanted to move her closer to us.

We are very pleased with everything this community has done for my friend. This is a very nice place for him to be. The community looks beautiful, they keep his room and the facility nice and well maintained. They have really gone out their way for him. They waived the community fee also reduced his rent to fit his budget. Kayla worked very hard for us, she was great time work with. Overall we are very satisfied with this community. I would highly recommend this community.

My mom is having a good time at this community. The place is kept clean. My mom enjoys the meals prepared here. She is also participating in some activities. Ii would recommend this community to others.

Everything is working out very well for my mother here at this community. It is a pleasant community with kind people. There are activities and good food offered. The staff is helpful and friendly. Overall everything is working out very well.

My mother has been at Island Shores for over 4 yrs. & she has been happy in her new home. My brother & myself live in Neenah which means we can drop in & see our mom anytime. Everyone is very caring, the residents are like one big happy family. We moved my father-in-law into Island Shores & he is also very happy in his new home. Thank You to all the staff.

Very welcoming. Seemingly taking care of every aspect of my mother's life and incorporating interesting activities as well. Food seems very good. Only been there a week so a little early to tell.

So far things are good. She is still is adjusting, but we haven't had any complaints so far. The staff seems very, very, nice. Things have been going really well. We haven't had any issues. We liked the location, and we liked the size, it wasn't too big. I like that they don't just throw extra charges for every little thing, though it is very expensive.

Although it seems expensive, the Sunrise does have an atmosphere that I would find myself comfortable in. Ashley was instrumental in helping us get the job done and my mom accommodated in this new place on a very tight schedule. I'm thankful I had my daughter and son in law to help. Both my sister and I live far away from the U.S. so we find it important to have her in a safe and comfortable place. Mom said she was lonesome the first few times I've spoken to her, but now she has met people and is getting on better. She has told me she likes her new room although it is smaller than what she had. The Sunrise seems more like a home as far as the building and atmosphere than an assisted living facility, they even have a dog, Annie. I'm just happy that we got her into a good place and with less worries on her wellbeing.

My parents stayed in a furnished studio for respite. The Lighthouse went above and beyond to accommodate them. My parents were very satisfied with the meals, activities and accommodations. They made friends quickly. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to experience senior living. When the time comes to permanently relocate, they will be back.
