Best value and services in the area. Do not hesitate to place your love one here. Many folks living here have livedcatbup to 5 previous places and rate this as their favorite. I am a daughter of a resident. Decor is a bit dated but that is the ONLY downfall. My mom ecstatically happy and so am I !

My father recently moved into this wonderful community. The food is just fabulous, and we had to move in just for the food. The previous facility that dad was at had microwaveable eggs, oatmeal, cereal, and toast for breakfast. But not here!!! They have breakfast to order, omelets, bacon...just cannot say enough about the food, the service and the smiles that we get.

My loved one really likes this place. I think everyone is very helpful and nice. They are always willing to go the extra mile. The place is clean and they have occasional outings that my loved one has gone to. The people there are just wonderful. There's a lady I think her name is [Removed], she is just a sweetheart. Also, the lady in the office always remembers my name, she even took the time to speak with me on one of my visits.

My dad had a good time while he was at the community. They treated him very well and he was happy with them. He likes the food and the dining experience. He can order off the menu. They also do a great job picking him up with the hoist. Being that they are like a full nursing care, this is what he needed and that is why we picked the community. It has been great and I highly recommend them.

I am happy with the care that my mom is getting here. The staff is fantastic and very nice and helpful to all her needs for good care. The meals are real. The activities are really good for her and she likes participating with the other residents. I gladly recommend the care and the value of this community to other families.

He is doing good and he loves it in the community. It has all worked out very well. I felt good about it in the beginning and I was hoping for the best. They came through and did really well. We're very happy with the referral A Place For Mom gave us.

I like this community for the care of my family member. She is very happy with the staff and is making new friends are moving in. She is enjoying the food but she feels that it does take too long to get your meal. She does like the activities that she is enjoying. She is allowed to play the piano that they have. She would recommend this community to other families for the care and the value.

We were very impressed with the tour and were introduced to all the staff. Everyone we met seemed happy to be there. Very warm and welcoming surroundings.

Both of my parents started out in Assisted Living at the Lighthouse before they both moved on to Alzheimer's unit (Betty's Harbor). My family has been very pleased with the care both of our parents have received. The facility is clean and the employees are friendly. Highly recommend!

Things are coming along fine since my husband made the move to this community.One thing we didn't like is they didn't tell him he was getting a companion in his room, that was a setback. When My husband moved in, the tv didn't work. Right when the new guy moved in they got a new tv which I did not think was fair. Other than that, the place is very clean and the food is by far excellent!

My mother is adjusting well to this community. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. Everyone is always smiling and happy. The complex is always kept very clean and spotless. The meals are great, every time I talk to her she raves about the food, she has no complaints at all. For activities, they always have new things to do going on. We would 100% recommend this community to anyone looking its a great place!

Transition is typically not easy, or often welcome, for those leaving their home of nearly fifty years. My sister was no exception! However, the warm and welcome ambiance , the many opportunities for social interaction, the lovely apartment,, the many opportunities for social interaction, tasty nutritious meals, are just a few of the reasons why our family is confident our sister will thrive in her new Home.

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Staff has gone above and beyond. So many nice touches and the food is great. Couldn't have hoped for better.

The care the community provides for my younger brother is very good. They keep it very organized and clean. The staff are pretty friendly. They recently hired a new cook because the residents were complaining about the meals being cold. Once in awhile my brother likes to play Cribbage and go to happy hour. He likes to nap in his room. We choose this community because the cost was better than the rest.

My wife and I have picked this community for my parents for multiple reasons. During our tour we had ran into multiple residents who could not say enough good things about this place and how much they enjoy there living environment. I also really enjoyed that they have a special focus and interest on veterans, especially because my dad is a vet. My mother was thrilled when she saw they had a therapeutic pool that is available for all of the residents to use as well as other great amenities. The administration has done a great job at making accommodations for my parents living arrangements and they will have a large living room and full kitchen with a spacious bedroom.

[Removed] was great. Very helpful with answers to questions I didn't know I even had! The housing is beautiful and very affordable. Very Homey first impression. The staff and residents interacted with ease.

I am very pleased with this community, they have provided my loved one with great service and the staff have been very attentive to her needs. She is really enjoying the different tasty meals as well as the activities they have throughout the day. The company of the other residents has really made her feel welcomed and comfortable in her new living environment. I have no complaints and would defiantly recommend this place.
