I thought Red Rock Senior Living was very nice when I toured. Everyone there was very friendly and the tour guide was knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and the facility was very clean. I had a good experience touring.,

Transition is typically difficult for most, but probably not as difficult as leaving one's home of 50 years! How fortunate to have been referred to Keystone Communities of Roseville for consideration for our sister where she is now still within familiar territory. Her "homey" apartment is just the right size, has a partial lake view, is located in a cozy alcove with two neighboring apartments, plus an elevator within a few feet! Although Keystone of Roseville has been her residence for less than two months, she has developed a circle of acquaintenances that she is comfortable with. There seems to be enough activities from which to choose to keep her entertained and challenged. She is especially happy to be in an area of town for which she has the option of taking the Roseville Shuttle to her familiar "stops." As winter becomes more of a reality we, as her family, are confident in knowing that she will be warm and cozy and NOT missing the snow and ice challenges that Minnesota Winters bring!

We like living at this community. The staff are helpful and answer our questions. The meals are good. The people are friendly. This community is only 3 years old and they have done a good job of maintaining it.

It was a nice place and worked well for our respite stay. the staff were all helpful and nice. The food could be improved. Pretty dry and not very tasty. Believe the medication room should not be left open and unattended.

Like all children trying to place their parent in the perfect place; I was cautious and nervous until I visited The Lighthouse. My first visit was wonderful, very informative and extremely helpful. Mary was fabulous to visit with while we went over the details of how this place works. The staff seemed genuinely friendly and really appeared to care about the residents. I came away convinced that they do care. The place is always clean and doesn't have that hospital smell that accompanies some health facilities. After not much thought, I wanted my mom in the Lighthouse asap. She has been there for 6 weeks or so. During that time, she has gone from "I like it here" to "I'm glad I'm here" to "I'm very happy living here." I couldn't be more happy with the choice we made for mom. I truly recommend you to look at the Lighthouse last if your shopping around for a family member. You will see what difference this place is compared to others. They are not just running a flop house....the attitude is to keep people going, active and involved. Mom actually complains a bit as "they sometimes run her ragged." I couldn't be happier with the Lighthouse. My mom couldn't be happier either.

I really recommend this community! The staff is great and makes sure my mom eats and takes her meds. She is is doing well. SHe does have her good and bad days or times of the day, but that's expected. She is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. She does like to socialize. It would be nice if there some more activities for her stage of Alzheimer's. Other residents are content with watching TV or listening to music. My mom likes to have her newspaper to read each day. The full on Alzheimer's patients are in a different area, which helps. There are only 10 residents in her building which helps a lot. Her room is wonderful. My mom said it doesn't stink there, it smells good so she is happy about that. I would say to make sure you follow up and remind them to do some things sometimes, my mom needs some help with paperwork. It is more expensive than I anticipated, but it is memory care so I expected to pay a little more.

The experience has been great. The staff are very friendly and helpful with everything. The community looks amazing--it looks like a hotel and is very nicely kept. The food is just delicious and they have a wide variety of well balanced food available. The staff here is simply great. They have been extremely friendly and my father absolutely loves them. They even have a shuttle for transportation to and from appointments which is a big help to us and the driver is very friendly as well. Our experience has been great with the Lighthouse’s Memory Care setting. We are happy my mother has been able to stay there.

The administrative services are very helpful in helping to make the right decision on where to put a parent and how to do all the paperwork to get things in order. The ratio of staff to resident is better than most places. They have a nurse in-house for when things go wrong. All of the staff are friendly and helpful to residents and family of the residents. I would highly recommend Lighthouse of Mahtomedi. My mom has been there a couple of months now, the transition from house to resident care has been a very smooth one. I am very happy with the Lighthouse of Mahtomedi.

It was with a lot of support and help that getting dad moved from Florida to Wisconsin inn as short of time as we had. Start to finish we had every thing accomplished in six short weeks. Considering the holidays rapidly approaching the weather..... The staff was right on the ball every step of the way. Thanks so much!!

Mother moved to Keystone Living in Eagan to be near me and we couldn't be happier. Her apartment is nice with a nice size kitchen and living room, but the feature Mother is happiest about is the washer and dryer in her unit. The Keystone employees have been so helpful from the first time I toured the place through the move and getting her involved in her new community. Her neighbor showed her around the first day and invited her to the activities. Overall it has been great!

The staff at the Lighthouse did a fine job working with us to place Dad in his new home, the building is a warm and inviteing place and the staff is very freindly. We feel that we could not have found a better place

I got a good feeling the minute I walked into this community. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. the tour went well and I really liked that the hallways had lots of windows to let the natural light in. there were 2 atriums so that the residents could walk out and get some fresh air too. Mom says the food is good and she can't wait to get into one of those atriums to plant something. This facility is clean, safe and fits into Mom's finances.

Our experience with Island Shores has been a very good one, Mom absolutely loves it here! It is a very nice looking, well kept community, and the staff and other residents are all very friendly. She recently had an extended hospital stay, and when she returned everyone was so welcoming and said they were so happy to see her back, which I know really meant a lot to her! Really the only "issue" we've had is that for a few weeks after she moved in they were almost TOO helpful! Mom was calling them to help with every little thing, which they did happily, but I let them I wanted them to encourage her to be a bit more independent, which they completely understood.

They were incredibly helpful in making the transition to assisted living. Mom had a stroke before getting set up there and they were extremely good working with her despite the trouble that she had at times communicating. They made my dad feel very comfortable moving in there, which means a lot because I know many seniors can be resistant to the idea, but they go out of their way to make it a smooth transition. I would highly recommend Freedom Pointe Minnetonka.

They really have been really good. It's very clean, and the staff has been really helpful and friendly as well. I think they were pretty reasonable for assisted living. They have been really great if we call or have a need. They have been a help with the insurance as well. The activities are one of the highlights of the place, they try to keep the residents really active. I haven't had any complaints about the food. I feel like it's been a really quality experience, it feels more like a home environment, rather than an assisted living, and they have a nice outside areas with patios and gardens.

Worked with this facility as POA for mother and mother-in-law. Good meals, conscientious service, friendly and caring staff, and competitively priced for base package. Extras like medication administration is pricey, and it seems it is all or nothing, no simple service to just verify mom took her meds every morning or evening.

She liked it here, and made some really close friends. The woman who was in charge of nursing is really good, if a little overworked. She really liked the meals here, but she said they served too much chicken. We moved out of the area, but she liked it here.

Very fiendly staff. We visited Keystone several times over a two week period and were impressed with the staff. We had visited several facilities around the area and Keystone offered everything we were looking for. It has been 6 weeks since my parents have moved in and they are very happy with their decision to move to Keystone.

Mom has been at Keystone for nine days now, she is doing great! She physically is fine but her dementia was getting bad living alone. Since the move she seems to have regained her memory some which is so good to see.

My mother has lived here for over 2 years. My brother and I are both out of state, so we cannot handle issues on a daily basis and need to feel comfortable with the care she gets. Westlake Woods has definitely met (and exceeded) my expectations! The staff is very caring and go above and beyond ...as an example, during the holidays one staffer came in on her day off to decorate the doors of the residents who had not done so themselves. In addition to taking good care of Mom, they have helped make my life easier by purchasing supplies for her between my visits and arranging for routine healthcare services, including transportation and escorts. We had a less-than-satisfactory experience with another facility in Erie prior to finding WW...what a difference a good facility makes for both the resident and the family!
