Things have gone very well with Sterling House of Goldsboro so far. It's been a very pleasant experience, and we don't have any complaints. It is a nice place, and I would recommend them to others looking into senior care in the area.

I enjoy my husband being at Northstar Place because they call and let me know anything that he has done or anything that has happened to him. It is important to me to stay informed and they are great about that. For example, just this morning they called to let me know they found my husband on the floor by his bed. Even though he was alright, they still called to tell me. I like that they keep me so informed.

I like it here. I like the people that live here. I like it that I don't have to do yard work or empty the trash. I have more free time. I like the food too.

The workers here listen to me. I have improved a lot since I've been here. Some of the residents get confused but I leave them alone.

The Dalton Place has been a wonderful place for my mother to live. The staff are so helpful with her activities and her daily life. The facility is so clean which makes for a great place to live.

Impressed by friendliness of staff, clean appearance of the ALC. Staff has experience with low-vision residents and that's a plus for us too.

I was satisfied with the Summit Place. My father was there for a short period but while he was there, I had a good experience. I was satisfied with the care they provided, friendliness of staff, and cleanliness of the facility. Overall my experience was good.

Evanna took her mom to this place two times she really liked it. It was a very beautiful place and really enjoyed it. The people were really caring and considerate. The only problem was is that the houses were not as big as the hoped like the other communities she had visited.

My father was at the facility for only a few months before he needed skilled nursing care but everyone there was always friendly and attentive to his needs. I looked at more than a dozen facilities before choosing Mallard Ridge. I appreciate the care they gave my dad.

Overall things have gone very well with Sanctuary at Northstar! It is a nice looking, clean community, and the staff have all been very friendly. They take great care of their residents, and I feel like they have been very attentive to my loved ones needs. I thought the food was good all the times I've had it, however I've heard complaints from my loved one that they could use more variety in the vegetables they serve.

My mother has been a resident at Dalton Place for nine months and has never regretted the move. She quickly became a part of a loving and caring community. Each employee treats my mother with kindness which is very comforting to our family. Recently my mother became ill and had to be hospitalized. Dalton Place continued to check on her which made her time away seem less frightening. She knew without a doubt that her home away from home was waiting for her return. The amenities are very nice. Dalton Place has provided transportation if we have been unable to take our mother to her doctor's visits. It was even arranged for one of her caregivers to accompany her. That meant so much to our family! Prior to making the final decision to move my mother from her home we toured other facilities in the area. We were pleased with the cleanliness and nice surroundings that Dalton Place offers. Thank you Dalton Place for providing excellent care!

Both of my parents moved into Dalton Place November 2013. After my father's death in February, my mother still resides there. She enjoys the exercise classes administered by the activities coordinator & the additional activities provided. They seem to care about her well being, which is of utmost importance. Daily meals are provided of which you can choose your menu. They will work with you on your desired preferences, which makes it nice. Mother loves her room & we moved her into a different wing after my father's death. Her neighbors & dining mates are a part of our family too now. I visit often, although I live 4 hrs away. I participate in the activities & enjoy mealtime with everyone. They are providing a safe community for mother & that's the most important thing to me!!

They have been really pretty accommodating and cooperative. I see the food and it seems good, but she complains about it a lot. It's been a rough transition, she isn't really involved with the activities yet, but they do have them. The staff has been really great, I have no complaints about them.

Favorite place. Like home We could go see mom living here now just have to figure out the financial part.

So far it's been okay. They are very clean and very friendly. They lost their cook and the meals are really bad. When she walked in it was everything she wanted it to be. They are pet friendly and really worked with her to keep her dog. We liked that it was a pretty spacious apartment, and a lot of the ones we saw were kind of small, and sterile.

This seemed like a place that would work when our loved one is a little less aware of the surroundings. Not that it wasn't nice, but it is more hospital like in setting. It's already furnished, I think you can bring in an easy chair but it's not their bed, and at this stage wasn't the best fit. It is still on our radar though as things progress.

This community does a good job overall, it's a nice looking, clean facility, and the staff are all very friendly and professional. The only issue that we had was that we were charged before they were ready for her to move in, and while they refunded us a portion of the fee we still ended up paying for a room that they were unable to move her into.

It was a great! They always had a really understanding and caring staff. They had a lot of bingo! They didn't really have a choice for meals, but they would take her to all of her appointments.
