Good community, we wanted a private room and they didn't have one.

Overall they do a pretty good job. I think, like everywhere, they are having problems with staffing. The food is lacking and communication between Preston House and our family is lacking as well. For example: posting the menu for upcoming meals of that week is a hit or miss. When we visit, what's posted is often incorrect or there's nothing posted at all. They are also slow to respond to email requests, phone calls, or any type of communication. But they are understaffed from a management standpoint as well. Our move in process was fine. We had some things we wanted moved out of the room, and they got it moved out in time like we asked. It's still an overall pretty good place, and they do provide adequate care in this difficult time.

This is a great place. Most of the staff are very friendly to speak with and our willing answering the family's questions or address our concerns. The meals are served in the dining room. The only concern here is that the food service is slow, and this creates some chaos due to the residents getting up and leaving and then other staff have to bring them back to eat. There is a good variety of options for the residents to choose from.

The Reserve at Mills Farm is a beautiful facility and we are very happy with the memory care. However just like everybody else right now they are struggling with staffing

The community is very clean and the staff members have been so friendly. Overall we have been very happy and pleased with the care our loved one has been receiving these last couple months. The activities director has done a really good job trying to engage the residents and she gets them out on the patio when the weather is nice for some respite care. The meals look to be very nutritious and there are snacks in the afternoons. We would recommend this community to others based on our experience.

So far things are working out well. We went with this Brookdale facility because it was a little smaller in size and easier for my loved one to get around. I would recommend them to others looking

We are really enjoying all the different daily activities they have going on for the residents and the staff members so far have been super friendly. Based on the experience we have had so far with Brookdale Rocky Mount we would recommend them to other families.

We had a nice tour experience with The Legacy at Southpointe Drive. The location was not ideal for us and also the facility itself needed some updating. When we brought that up the staff admitted it as well.

The staff are willing to help and address all needs in a timely manner. Communication is very important to me and that is why I picked this community. The tour was excellent at this community and they gave me all of the information that I needed and made sure that they were very thorough with me and all of my loved one needs during her stay at this community.

Mom is really happy and doing really good. She's eating three meals a day and walking by herself to the dinning room and back. So she's getting a lot more exercise than I could get her to do when she was with me. I like that the residents are not just sitting around - they're more active than at other places we toured. And there are all kinds of things for them to do, including exercise classes and bus outings. And everybody I come across just looks happy.

The tour experience itself was great. The issue we had was after the fact the lady kept calling me and calling me and would not stop. She was way too pushy. We also ran into someone who did not recommend the place.

We appreciated the fact that our loved ones basic needs and necessities were met. If he needed assistance with laundry it was done, as well as house keeping. We would absolutely recommend this community to others based on the experience we had

Deerfield Ridge is in a great location for our family, very close. We find the staff to be very friendly and helpful. My husband and I are there many times a week so we really know them and they know us. They always update us on how he is doing or give us suggestions for his care. I do think it would be helpful if they offered more food at meal times. Overall we would recommend them to others looking.

The gals who run the place are great they have no problems doing anything. They are all super friendly, sympathetic caring and good with work with. We aren't there all the time but we do know they have bingo and bring in live entertainment. They do have a calendar with a list of all the activities for the week.

Most of the staff is really good. I know how hard it is to take care of memory care patients. You really should make a care plan to review before you come in and review it every 2 weeks to make sure staff is addressing any changing care needs. Be mindful that no place is perfect and they try to do their best but you need to oversee your loved ones care. I would like to see a higher staff to resident care ratio.

My loved one was very happy there. One of our family members spent a lot of time there with him, and she was overall happy with Colonial Gardens. The food service was good. They provided good care as well as they were able. They did seem to be a little short-staffed. In the end, his health issues were just too great, and he ended up needing skilled nursing.

I would recommend this community for your loved one. They were extremely helpful. They had activities like watching t.v. playing games, going out on tour trips, out to eat and more for the residents to do to have a good time. The tour was good and very complete they made sure that I understood everything.

We chose Dalton Place because I just liked the facility when we came to tour, it was very nice and clean and it had a good atmosphere. The staff have all been helpful and friendly. The director [name removed] is very involved with things and concerned about all of his residents. I would recommend them to others.
