.I think that everything else about The Reserve is top-notch except for the meals and dining service - that is a negative. Instead of providing meals, they allocate [fee removed] per month toward meals out of the monthly rent. That allocation is barely enough to cover dinner every day. And that does not include dessert with dinner (extra charge). Nothing allocated for breakfast or lunch since most people eat those meals on their own. Small breakfast /lunch room (not dining room) for those who want to eat those meals. Dining room is always cold. Food is often served lukewarm. Assigned seating and dining time means you eat with the same 3 other people every day. Since people have decided which seat at the table is their seat, my mom has to face the wall every evening. However, what we really like the most about the Reserve are the amenities, the appearance and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families with the caveat that it's very expensive and that the dining experience isn't the greatest (not bad, just not as good as the rest).

I would like to see them do a little more to try and get someone who is reluctant to get involved and get them involved.

The staff (CNA) that I have met are extremely nice, friendly and caring. [name removed] has been very unhappy with the food. When I ask [name removed] about the food, she always says it's not good. She won't give me explicit details. I've given her salt, pepper, mustard etc. She has stated that when they have hotdogs it's plain with small amount of chips and nothing else.

The place has been recently painted, the people are very nice, it feels personal because everyone knows your name, but the meals are lacking. Food is my mother’s main complaint. Most things are prepackaged, canned, processed, sugary or unappetizing. The facility is not to capacity, and so they reduced the hours of some workers. My mother has had to wait quite awhile for someone to come help her. No place is perfect for everyone, but my mom seems to like it there.

. We had some problems with the pharmacy they were using at that time otherwise I would give them a 5. Our loved one has now passed away but we were very happy with Keowee Square. Our loved one felt very loved and cared for there.

We absolutely love the staff and how they take care of Dad. However, we have not been pleased with the food. The cooking staff has changed multiple times since he moved there. We have also noticed that his room is clean on the surface but not in "unseen" places like under the beds. We also love how they have activities planned for most of the day and really keep the residents active. If it were not for the food, we would have scored the overall rating better. For the value for cost, the cost of the facility has gone up for monthly "rent" and level of care amounts charged. We are concerned that we may have to seek other care if it continues to increase at the rate we have seen in the past 18 months.

I feel like the facility worked really hard to get us in quickly with a difficult situation. The staff overall was very helpful and nice. To me it is very expensive, but that probably has to do with the level of care my grandmother needed. Overall I thought they were a very good facility. I would recommend Cypress Square to others looking.

Every facility had great, good and poor staff-Legacy had a much better level of great to poor. Food was horrendous at all 8 initial facilities I looked at-especially Memory Care for probably obvious reasons. I had to do [name removed]'s pt three times a week as paid therapist never noticed a leg started dragging because she never did any walking/standing exercises.....which is primarily what she needed. No place would seem good enough for loved one but Legacy was pretty tremendous and admin staff was very accommodating regarding questions and challenges! If I needed a facility again, The Legacy would be the standard I'd use to compare.

Our mother has been happy and adjusted well since we moved her here. The rooms are nice and spacious. A little dated, but we are seeing progress each week. We referred two other families, and after evaluating Hammond Place, they also decided to move their loved ones here. [name removed] and staff have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for.

The staff at The Legacy of North Myrtle Beach are very good and always helpful when issues arise. However, there seems to be a lot of turnover. The hospice staff are awesome. A new Activities Director was just hired, so I can't rate that one fairly. We visit there quite often and, at different times, we have had issues with our loved one's room being dirty and other residents being in his room. My loved one has always been an outdoor person and there is very limited outdoor space for memory care. My loved one is there because we have limited funds to work with and the facility is close to our home. He likes it there and that's what really matters!

My loved one was previously a resident at Priddy Manor Assisted Living for a short time. The staff was very kind and good to her. The facility was well taken care of. I would recommend this facility to others.

Excellent care. There's always room for improvement, but this facility is really up there. The staff are wonderful and the food is good. I'm happy overall with the level of care that they have shown. I would recommend this facility to others.

Our experience was fine, but like most businesses, staffing is an issue. Not as bad as some facilities, but an occasional an issue. Research showed it to be a nice community, and most importantly, they had an opening.

My Dad was there for such a short time we did not get very acquainted with the staff. Those we did interact with were very friendly and helpful.

My mom was a resident at this facility for a respite stay. It was a great respite experience for our mom! (Ask for a lock box).

Staff is great, facilities okay. I think they need to remodel, more lively decor, fun and beachy ! I mean it is Myrtle beach!

I would say that they are very friendly. But the care is not what I expected it to be and it's because I believe they are understaffed. They have gone through new ownership, but they've had enough time to work out the kinks. The meals seem to be one of the biggest complaints by the residence especially my mother. When I look at the menu items, it's the same thing all the time. Chicken, ham and cheese sandwiches, a salad, some cake, chicken, ham and cheese sandwiches a salad some cake. I've never really seen other things like pizza or spaghetti. I've never seen things like hotdogs and coleslaw or hamburgers and french fries. I've never seen things like cut up fresh fruit. But the staff is very friendly

The community is great, very friendly, was able to not have a roommate and close to my house
