I found the staff to be very helpful when needed. The one item that I had an issue with, was my Uncle was placed in the Memory Care Unit as he failed their test by one question. I spoke to the Administrator about this and redoing the test. Of which they didn't persue. The longer he was in there the more obvious it became he was 100% misplaced ! Anyway, I can't remember how many months he was at the facility before he passed. He really died of a broken heart resulting in medical issues popping up. His wife (my aunt) of neatly 70 years died in [date removed]. My Uncle passed that August. I believe he would have been happier in another ward to relate to others, talk about hobbies etc. The Memory Care Unit - God love them, but they are not on the same planet. The facility is a good place for memory care patients. It was apparent they enjoyed it Of course they mostly just wandered around, slept etc. the facility did have sing alongs, drawing etc. my Uncle was lost if you will not having the mental stimulation he needed and the level he was at. His neighbors and friends made it a point to visit everyday.

I would choose chandler again! Close to my home and I feel he is in a safe environment. I would like to see activity directors more involved with new residents and more active during different social events I think the director should carry through on items that they promised, such as Veterans wall of fame. I would definitely recommend, every place we toured had good points and areas that could be improved.

It's a nice community! Everyone is friendly and caring and they are good about communicating issues. My mom really enjoys the activities especially special events. I wish the pricing was lower and that they offered off site activities. My mom has lived at several assisted living communities in metro Atlanta and this one is the best!

Great management staff, understaffed, employees, good technicians and overworked CNAs food could be better.overworked drivers to medical appointments but great drivers. Great activities director, who always has something for residents to keep them busy like arts and crafts, bingo and outings, and very helpful to all residents.

The staff at Colonial Gardens is attentive and caring, friendly. It has been a good overall experience there.

My sister chose it for its cleanliness and proximity to her home. As always, promises made before checking in are not necessarily fulfilled. I found it to be an excellent place. I would recommend them.

There was a lot of turnover of staff while my Mother was there. It was sometimes hard to get a response from administrators. We have moved my Mom to another facility. The food could be improved if they paid attention to residents request. Th why often served my Mom beef and pork which she doesn't like. I would prefer not to rate the new facility. It hasn't been long enough to have an opinion about it.

Very courteous and thorough. We picked this community because it was closer on the map.

It's always hard to leave your loved one in the care of others. I had to quickly find a place that could physically transfer from bed to wheelchair etc. Preston House was the best fit for my Mom. Caring, knowledgeable people, well trained. They keep me informed of progress or changes by phone or in person. Very clean, in a nice neighborhood.

I feel like Cypress square has done a really great job taking care of my grandmother. The only issue that I have had is that they are understaffed. I feel that they do the best that they can with what they have. As far as activities they go way above and Way beyond to make sure that their residents are having a good time and get good experiences despite being in with skilled nurse staffing. I do feel safe leaving her there with the staff and anytime I have had an issue it has been resolved immediately within 24 hours. I do honestly feel like they care about their residents and that makes my heart Happy. I am very very very grateful for Cypress square and all that they do for our loved ones. Because of a place for Mom my grandmother now has a safe place to stay with skilled staffing. She is also not a very social person and she has now begun coloring and going and playing bingo. I would not have been able to find this place had it not been A place for Mom. I will be forever grateful to A place for Mom and Cypress square.

The staff was very knowledgeable And respectful. Very nice facility and I felt like my mom would feel like she was at home. The only reason we left is because it's not a locked facility and my loved one has advanced dementia.

This is a great place for your love one to live because the staff is very helpful.

I found the staff to be friendly and patient with a group that is tough to be patient and friendly with. We liked the relatively small size and simple set up of the facility. We feel that is the best thing for someone going through what our mother was going through.

I would recommend to others. Staff is very caring and wonderful to work with. We picked this community because of the location and price.

We chose Highlands Square because of the cleanliness, everything appeared to be in good working order, appropriate staffing activities and protocols. Overall it is a very nice facility for a loved one.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.The location is extremely convenient to my house. They have a lot of activities however they don't seem to include my loved one in the activities. The carpet in the living and hallway areas needs to be replaced and they tell me it is on the list of things to do.

It's a good place. The main staff is caring and really good but the day to day staff seems to have a turnover. Overall I would recommend it.

I was overall very pleased with the facility. The people in general that worked there were very nice and treated my husband very well. The physical therapy program was excellent. My husband said the food wasn't the best but he was used to home cooking. The activity program was extremely good. They planned field trip that were very interesting and had some very good people coming in the entertain them. We had some problems but they got straightened out. The staff were extremely caring when my husband was under hospice care.
