My loved one was very happy there. One of our family members spent a lot of time there with him, and she was overall happy with Colonial Gardens. The food service was good. They provided good care as well as they were able. They did seem to be a little short-staffed. In the end, his health issues were just too great, and he ended up needing skilled nursing.

I would recommend this community for your loved one. They were extremely helpful. They had activities like watching t.v. playing games, going out on tour trips, out to eat and more for the residents to do to have a good time. The tour was good and very complete they made sure that I understood everything.

We chose Dalton Place because I just liked the facility when we came to tour, it was very nice and clean and it had a good atmosphere. The staff have all been helpful and friendly. The director [name removed] is very involved with things and concerned about all of his residents. I would recommend them to others.

The staff members were very attentive and accommodating to our family.

It's a small, warm assisted living facility. There probably are some places that are superior, but they'll be much larger and more expensive. Every time I go to see my loved one, her apartment looks squared away, and she herself looks like she has been well cared for. I would like to see housekeeping of the induvial apartments be better. Things are neat, but not necessarily the cleanest.

This community seemed pretty nice. The staff seemed to be very nice.

Forest Ridge seemed like a great place and we really liked it, we are actually still in touch with them in case things continue to decline where my loved one is at. The only turn off for us was when we went to visit the memory care side, we got a strong smell of urine. At the time we were looking, the location was further away than we would have liked.

Let me tell you about the Sales and Marketing Director at Chandler Place Independent Living. We think of her as a dear friend. She has always responded right away to mom's needs or any problem that arises. Mom has an extra disability most residents do not have, and [name removed] notices when she needs help in the dining room, or when there is a problem in her apartment. And she doesn't just tell someone there is a problem---she stays on it 'til its resolved. Can't tell you how fortunate our family---and Chandler Place is to have her.

They seem to be a very caring bunch of people. All of them know my loved one by name. They don't have a lot of turnover, so he deals with the same people all the time, which really helps him out a lot. And now they have a routine in place and know what he needs and doesn't need. He tells me he likes the food overall and has no complaints, other than they feed him too much!

This facility is very good. I can take my dog {name removed} into the courtyard and let him play, and he loves it. The residents are friendly and it seems we all get along real good. I feel good living here.

We chose The Havens at Princeton because it was in a very nice quiet neighborhood and close to areas that my mother felt comfortable. I do think they could provide bigger portions on the meals and they could have a better variety of activities for the residents. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

All of the staff members have been very nice. They have not been very organized, sometimes when I give them medical records they get lost and I do have to remind them do things like shaving my friend as well too.

Memory care

Our family had an in person tour and it was very nice and the dining room was beautiful, and when our loved one really enjoyed the uppity-lifestyle he would of really enjoyed it but now he really wanted something smaller, and another community was able to give him that smaller setting.

This was a nice community, just a little too expensive for us.

The community looked nice but it was not as nice as the other facility that we were considering. It looked clean and appealing and they were very informative.

Seven Hills Place is a good facility and I am a firm believer that there is always room for improvement. Unfortunately they are understaffed so some things have lacked like the communication. There are times where our phone calls do not get answered. However it is a good community and the staff members do care for the residents. This community is good for residents who are active and low maintenance.

We chose Kerner Ridge because of the convenient location, the layout of the facility, and I just felt more comfortable here compared to other places we looked at. They do offer shared and private rooms, she has a private room and it is just fine for her needs. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.
