We picked this community, because we knew some people there. Also the size was good - things were very accessible. Dining and amenities all in the building. We would recommend to other families. Initial issues with staffing and dining are being addressed but not up to par. Lots of staff and management turnover.

Fairly new facility, apartments are a little more spacious and more modern. Tons of services on site. Great outdoor locations. Staff is good, but there has been quite a bit of turnover. Dining is more expensive for independent than I previously experienced but food was good. Assisted-living food needs to be improved but they are working on improving it. In the short time my parents have been there since February I've seen the following staff change: Cleaning, company that makes on-site doctors visits, pharmacy and head of assisted living. But location is great. They have a movie theater, and staff is real friendly.

I feel that Hitchcock Place may be understaffed. Employees have been very friendly and helpful. [name removed] my sister in law has not been very happy with the food. Very bland I think they could do better than hotdogs and beans for supper. Overall experience has been good. [name removed] has only been at Hitchcock Place for a month

Went to visit my husband and each time it was the same. Clean, and aides and nurses around. Also, they call each patient by name. And answered my questions concerning my husband in a knowledgeable way. They are still people to them, not just nameless patients. My only real complaint was I was not informed concerning the upfront $[removed] community fee. It was a surprise for me the day I brought my husband in. Quite a costly surprise. I did not understand what the purpose of that fee was and didn't ask because mentally I was not all there the day of admission. I would recommend Colonial Gardens to others looking.

Brookdale Shelby is a nice place as well as the environment. The food is decent, and the people are nice. We would recommend this community especially for the pricing and what is available.

We have no way to compare with other facilities. All I can say is if I wanted to be anywhere other than my own home. The Reserve is adequate but needs to consider upgrading the meals. The staff is wonderful, and that goes for the maintenance crew as well.

We are happy with my dad being at The Legacy at Southpointe Drive. Some of the staff are better than others but it is very good overall. However based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families.

Unfortunately, Deerfield is owned by corporate interest whose top priority is profit. Every aspect suffers, as usual. However the staff is great, they are really good with people and for that reason I would recommend this community to other families.

They are very caring! They have lots of activity for their resident's! You helped me with our friend [name removed]! The one concern I have his floor in his room is never clean and neither is his bathroom! They are extremely caring! Very professional! They do lots of activities.

Manning Place is a good place for a loved one. The staff are very nice to my loved one, and he calls it home. But according to him, they could improve on the food. He doesn't care much for fish, spinach, sandwiches, or ranch dressing and needs more choices.

We chose Chandler Place over other facilities that we visited because it seemed the nicest that we were going to be able to afford. Although, I am pleased, overall, I think that at times, they seem a bit understaffed....but I think that is the case in many areas these days...Anytime I seek out, answers or assistance, they are ready to listen and assist...

Very well-kept facility. Very inviting feeling. Attentive administrators and care providers though they are dealing with staffing issues like most facilities. We are very satisfied with the memory care unit.

I think my loved one is doing ok there. Complaints about food and getting prescriptions ordered has been an issue. Also I wasn't informed of the community fee until after I settled my loved one in. They said they did but my loved one and I never heard that.

Very friendly staff and very accommodating. I am in Colorado, and they are in South Carolina. Communication is great, but it gets tricky from communicating from one staff person to another at times. They are prompt to get back to me on questions as well. It is clean and bright with plenty of activities for the residents.

This is a nice community. The staff communication with the family is good, as they listen to feedback. It may take awhile to get things accomplished though. The food is horrible. The food is always served cold and not tasty for the residents. The dinner is served in the main dining room. The bistro is available for breakfast and lunch. It would nice to have a more friendly atmosphere in the dining room to be able to find other residents who are social. The dining room staff could use more training.

I toured this facility. It was clean and staff was friendly. Ultimately, I didn't think it was a good fit for my loved one.

For most people it is an easy location to get to. The care that she received was very good as well. I would recommend Richland Place to others.

Our family had an in-person tour and it was a really nice tour experience but the community itself was too larger for our loved one.

They just recently had a change in staff and it seems like it is taking a while to get their feet on the ground. Things that were perfect before are not perfect now. We are hoping it is just temporary. They just got a new chef and mom LOVES the food - it is incredible If you are looking for a place based off of the care level and not how it looks, this should definitely be at the top of the list. It has a smaller more homey feel to it. There is more personalized care and I do regret the decision we made at all. Mom is happy.

We've been very happy with Keowee Place. It's very friendly and very nice. The staff seem competent and are on the ball. When I've asked for things to be done, they're done pretty quickly. Mom likes it there. She feels very comfortable and very safe. She likes her room - it's nice and big. They're more than happy to bring her meals to her room since that's her preference, and the food quality is good. Portions are a good size, and they offer options and cater to individual preferences. She can also ask for a snack anytime. We have no complaints!
