Northlake House's staff has been amazing. My loved one feels very happy here. I see my loved one enjoying the activities. Each resident has their own room and bathroom. This allows the resident's to feel independent. This is a beautiful and clean community. The residents are able to roam the hallways and feel comfortable doing as they wish, as long as they are not harming anyone else. My loved one loves it here. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. Some of the activities the community offers includes: outings, games, arts and crafts, and more for the residents to participate in.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was fantastic

We would absolutely recommend Chandler Place Independent Living to other families, it has given our loved one unexpected happiness. We have asked her if she has ever felt unsafe or alone and she always says no. She says from the moment she moved in she just felt right at home. The only downside there is (which now it is improving) is the meals and dining service. They have a new chef there who has been working for a few weeks now and it is getting better buy prior to that they struggled keeping staffing. Even though staffing is an issue the activities are great - all of the staff are stepping up to keep things going - even the maintenance team does activities with the residents. There are so many different things for the residents to do and we recently found out they have on-sight physical therapy which is a huge convenience for our family.

We chose Dublin Place because they were quick on their feet. When we explained what they needed they said they could come right now. They were able to accommodate us immediately. They have been nothing but phenomenal. They care about my aunt and treat her like it is their family. We have not had any issues what so ever and we have no worries. We can go out of town and we are never stressed. [name removed] the director has been amazing, they have become part of our family team. I have never once seen anyone with a phone in their hand and they are always paying attention. They had someone pass away recently and you could tell that it genuinely hurt the workers and they were emotional. It is not just a job for them, it was like losing a family member. I recommend Dublin Place to others all the time.

They were very professional and active in caring for my uncle, who we thought had been abused at another facility. The staff used their own time to have him checked before he came to Richland Place. They were very proactive, concerned and was a great comfort for me. I would highly recommend it.

We decided on Chandler Place because of the attentiveness of the staff members, the fact that they renovated the apartment before mom would move in, and the food as well - they are chef-prepared meals. The apartment size for us is perfect and fits everything she needs. People have the opportunity to make the most of it if they choose to. I would absolutely recommend them to other families looking for independent living.

Our family had an in person tour and there was definitely some positive here, we felt we received individualized attention the entire time. The location was incredibly close to our family. They are a smaller community which we thought would be great for our loved one, but then we realized being in a bigger community there are more opportunities to socialize and stay engaged. It is also a locked facility.

The staff is very responsive whenever we call with any concerns. They gave really good advice on how, we, the family should handle the first 30 days. They have a really pretty area outside in the back that my mother-in-law really enjoys going to. You have options of a room with an outside door or not. The main entrance area is really nice, a lot of the residents gather there. The one thing we had concerns about initially, but they worked with us on, were that they assigned the residents to a table and in this case she was assigned to a table where everyone was much lower functioning than she was. That was kind of frustrating for her because she didn't know how to communicate with those people. Now, she's kind of taken on a caretaker role when she can. Once they got to know her, they reassigned her to a table that they thought would be a better match. I think they did a very good job with family. She has many children; some of us have been through this with loved ones before and some haven't. The ones who haven't were quite anxious and expecting absolute perfection with no communication. Those of us who have, were expecting the best outcome possible and we understood that family has to play a role in regards to communication. I think McArthur navigated that extremely well - seeing that there were so many personalities at work. I would recommend McArthur Manor to others.

Our family had an in person tour and the community itself looked amazing, they offered so much and the only focused on dementia and memory care. However the price was just to high for what our family could afford

[name removed] the activity coordinator, has been very helpful with my friend's care. [name removed] was able to get [name removed], my friend, involved in playing Bingo again. [name removed] also is a great help with transport to appointments, when needed. [name removed] really cares about the residents here. Overall care here is good and of good value. Carol

My wife has been in Memory Care Unit for over three and a half years. From day one she has been cared for by a very caring and professional staff. The facility is kept very clean and the meals provided are both balanced and favorable. Prior to the pandemic many activities and field trips were provided to the residents who chose to attend. In the past few months, all of these events have returned for the residents to enjoy. At Forest Ridge, the resident comes first and foremost. A top-notched leadership team and a caring and dedicated staff provide excellent care for the residents. These are very difficult jobs, and it takes special people to fulfill these tasks.

The staff members at Colonial Gardens community are just incredible and really show genuine care and concern towards the residents - they never talk down to them. Anytime there is an update regarding our loved ones they call us immediately. The activities are wonderful - plenty of things going on for the residents to do, however our loved one is not able to partake in the activities anymore. For our loved one they do not like the meals but from what we have heard from other residents they seem good. The value for the money is excellent.

There is a housekeeping staffing shortage. [name removed] is awesome, and goes above and beyond with the activities. Overall, my loved one is super happy, and I feel comfortable with him being there. It is the best place, that I could have imagined for my love one.

Everyone has been very kind to my mom. I just wish they'd take more outside excursion with the residents - since mom is totally wheelchair bound I can't take her anywhere myself. But otherwise no complaints. It's a wonderful facility! It is pricey compared to other facilities, but the nicest one around I've seen

I think the community is worth the money. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community listens to requests made by the family. The community will provide medication management, dressing, and bathing assistance plus additional care for your loved one. I don't have to worry about my loved one being here. The staff communication with family is really good, and they keep me updated about my loved one. Manning Place allows animals into the community and this is a plus as my loved one loves having their animal with them in the community.

My mother did well in her recovery at Colonial Gardens. All of the staff that took care of her did a wonderful job. She still speaks highly and warmly of the young ladies that took very good care of her. There aren't any complaints about facility and staff that cared for her.

All of the communications that I had with Colonial Gardens was wonderful. I would highly recommend them because they were so caring . I know that Colonial Gardens would have helped my sister so much and I wish she could have gone here. I spoke with [name removed] and he was great.

My friend [name removed] was very happy for the time she was there. She particularly liked her green salad at each meal. One other thing that she appreciated - she did not like to be called Sweetie or Honey. The staff called her Dr. [name removed] which suited her well. When you have lectured all over the world in several different languages, Sweetie didn't work for her.

We liked the community. It was a little too much each month for us.

We had a really nice tour experience with Northstar Place, the facility is beautiful and the staff were so friendly. At the time because of covid, we would not have been able to visit him as often here as another place we were looking at. It is totally understandable, but we just did not want to be limited. It was also a little more expensive than the other place as well.
