My wife has been in Memory Care Unit for over three and a half years. From day one she has been cared for by a very caring and professional staff. The facility is kept very clean and the meals provided are both balanced and favorable. Prior to the pandemic many activities and field trips were provided to the residents who chose to attend. In the past few months, all of these events have returned for the residents to enjoy. At Forest Ridge, the resident comes first and foremost. A top-notched leadership team and a caring and dedicated staff provide excellent care for the residents. These are very difficult jobs, and it takes special people to fulfill these tasks.

The staff members at Colonial Gardens community are just incredible and really show genuine care and concern towards the residents - they never talk down to them. Anytime there is an update regarding our loved ones they call us immediately. The activities are wonderful - plenty of things going on for the residents to do, however our loved one is not able to partake in the activities anymore. For our loved one they do not like the meals but from what we have heard from other residents they seem good. The value for the money is excellent.

There is a housekeeping staffing shortage. [name removed] is awesome, and goes above and beyond with the activities. Overall, my loved one is super happy, and I feel comfortable with him being there. It is the best place, that I could have imagined for my love one.

Everyone has been very kind to my mom. I just wish they'd take more outside excursion with the residents - since mom is totally wheelchair bound I can't take her anywhere myself. But otherwise no complaints. It's a wonderful facility! It is pricey compared to other facilities, but the nicest one around I've seen

I think the community is worth the money. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community listens to requests made by the family. The community will provide medication management, dressing, and bathing assistance plus additional care for your loved one. I don't have to worry about my loved one being here. The staff communication with family is really good, and they keep me updated about my loved one. Manning Place allows animals into the community and this is a plus as my loved one loves having their animal with them in the community.

My mother did well in her recovery at Colonial Gardens. All of the staff that took care of her did a wonderful job. She still speaks highly and warmly of the young ladies that took very good care of her. There aren't any complaints about facility and staff that cared for her.

All of the communications that I had with Colonial Gardens was wonderful. I would highly recommend them because they were so caring . I know that Colonial Gardens would have helped my sister so much and I wish she could have gone here. I spoke with [name removed] and he was great.

My friend [name removed] was very happy for the time she was there. She particularly liked her green salad at each meal. One other thing that she appreciated - she did not like to be called Sweetie or Honey. The staff called her Dr. [name removed] which suited her well. When you have lectured all over the world in several different languages, Sweetie didn't work for her.

We liked the community. It was a little too much each month for us.

We had a really nice tour experience with Northstar Place, the facility is beautiful and the staff were so friendly. At the time because of covid, we would not have been able to visit him as often here as another place we were looking at. It is totally understandable, but we just did not want to be limited. It was also a little more expensive than the other place as well.

If I trust them enough to put my Mom there, you should too!

This has been a great experience for my loved ones and family. The staff have been great to work with, they are patient, and had to act quickly when they had to evacuate the building and move the residents to another location. I had another family member meet my loved ones at this other location, and my loved one that met the staff at the new location was very impressed by the staff. The staff communication is very good with the family if something comes up with concerns about my loved ones' care or anything going on in the community. My loved ones really enjoy the food. The chef is very good. I believe, the residents have choices of meals. There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in.

It's a good place to put your elderly parents where they'll be well taken care of. I haven't had any trouble with the staff, and they call us all the time to let us know what's going on. They have plenty of activities. I think it's a good value.

The staff was very helpful with us getting him in quickly in an emergency situation. He absolutely loves the food that is served. The room sizes are pretty small and we had to provide a lot of the furniture other than the bed. Overall we would recommend The Fountains of Cartersville to others.

It is uniquely outstanding that everyone who has gone to visit my mom has contacted me to say they've never seen anything like Mallard. It's clean, lots of staff around, and everyone is helpful & attentive. Their philosophy is they want people to be as independent as possible, but they are there to give help when needed. They offer support without control. They have a lot of services that make me feel good as someone who's in charge of my moms care. We toured 10 places, but the staff and residents are incredibly active here and it feels energetic. When you walk in, everyone's in the halls visiting, talking, moving, and going. They aren't in their rooms watching TV, dazed off or sleeping. It's like you've stepped into a hotel, everyone is busy and happy. I found it remarkable that compared to other places, the residents here were all dressed and nicely groomed. They all had their hair done, they looked cared for and clean. No one looked disheveled. It's important to mention that my mom is at a distance from us. She wanted to stay in North Carolina because she has friends there, but I live in Florida and my brother lives in Chicago. We needed a place that would really care for her, and they have a lot of services in place to do just that. They are expensive, but worth it. Those are some of the few things that make Mallard Ridge a stand out place!

The community has some really great staff; however, they have some other staff that need TLC as they seem to be there only for a paycheck. It is a nice and good place for our loved one. The staff to resident ratio is almost adequate for the numbers they have. The meals that I have seen are good. All the residents are in the dining room when I visit and the residents are in a high back chairs. It would be nice to see the residents in the theater room to allow the residents to recline a bit.

Our first impressions of Mallard Ridge has been great. The staff has been very good to us so far, anyone I have talked to has been so willing to talk and help in any way. I would give [name removed] the wellness director high praises, she has been phenomenal. All of the med techs have been too. Really just all the staff that we have come into contact with here are great. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

My cousin is very happy with Chandler Place and has settled in well. The facility is as clean and bright and airy as the newer facility that we looked into and it was less money. The staff are very good and exceptionally nice. They have activities going on all of the time and there is always something to do. If I needed to go into independent living, I would go here. We do not have any complaints and would definitely recommend them to others looking.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. From what I can tell they serve good nutritious food to the residents. This was like a home away from home. People cared about you and made sure that our loved one was taken care of and got out as much as they could with their abilities. It just had a homey feeling not like a facility so to speak. They encouraged the residents to participate when they could in the activities.

The facility is very clean at all times, the employees always have time for residents. They appear to be glad to assist residents. I have never seen an employee be short or impatient with a resident. They are a joy to interact with and it seems that each enjoys their time here.
