I would give a 5 across the board. They were wonderful! What I like most about the community is The staff were wonderful. They took excellent care of my dad. He was very happy there.

It was a very professional and nice place, was glad to have my mother there. Would recommend to any family, enjoyed all staff.

Bloom Health managing on site PCP care, Mobil dental and the physical therapy. Yes, we would recommend MorningStar of Arvada to other families based on the experience so far.

Very attentive, very nice people and genuine. Great amenities very nice rooms. The size is average.

The facility is very good with attention paid to safety and security. Apartments are roomy and common areas are well thought out. The staff is excellent. Team leadership is solid across the board and the staff clearly takes time and makes effort to get to know the residents.

We were impressed about the staff's long time employment. They have always been very helpful. We have not had much interaction with the administrative staff, which is why I cannot answer question #5.

When it comes to MorningStar of Boise we would give them all 5s. It is a great caring place and yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I left a message for my initial inquiry and was called back right away - a positive. The phone call started first by inquiring about my mom’s interests and needs . It was a very informative conversation and I learned Morning Star is a Christian community, which I did not know, another positive. There was a welcome sign for us when we arrived for our visit-another positive. A huge positive was there was a room available right away. Everyone, staff and nurses, are always welcoming, kind and attentive, making sure to call my mom by name. Family and friends are able to visit anytime and/or join her for meals. My mom has engaged herself in the afternoon activities and there is a wide option of balanced meals for her to choose from. As her daughter, my brother and I rest easier knowing our mom is being well cared for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as she needs it.

Based on my experience (and I'm discussing the memory care unit) it is a wonderful place. The staff are all competent and extremely caring. I believe there are only 13-14 spots in memory care so the ratio of staff to residents is fantastic. I believe they are going above and beyond.

I give them a 5 on everything. [name removed] (I don't remember his title) was amazing. We tried to move both my parents from [removed] over a year ago. That didn't work out at the time. There were problems at [removed] and my father ended up in the hospital and then a skilled nursing facility. We tried to move them both to Truewood at that time but my father's behavior was causing problems. I understood. The only place that would accept my father was [removed]. The facility was not great but the staff much more involved. My father passed away soon after moving. We were then able to move her into Truewood. It's been great. I am so grateful for the care she is receiving and the communication we have with the facility. I'd be happy to answer anymore questions. My life has calmed down a bit.

All 5. It has been a great place for my mom. It is nice to have different levels of care in one facility. Nice sized rooms. My mom has a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom she kept after my dad passed.

When we first got there we needed more things explained. How does the schedule work for activities. How does the menu work. If my dad didn't come out of his room does someone check on him. How does maintenance work and what do they assist with? The food had also changed the menu offered more hot cooked meals than they do now.

The staff has been very friendly and engaging with the residents to encourage them to participate in the activities. The kitchen staff does their best to accommodate any dietary needs and preferences. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Facility is small enough for residents to learn their way around but large enough to offer many activities.

All the staff are very attentative! The servers in the dining room knew my name the 1st time I showed up. The menu has great variety, food is beautifully presented and the memory of some meals have me longing for the next time! Housekeeping does an excellent job. Assisted Living staff are very caring, attentative and have a great sense of humor. List of activities is great. There is help available for everything from TV to notary republic. Visiting doctors are available. Its wonderful ths level of support available. I rate them 100 stars! [dare removed] resident

My mom is extremely happy at Morningstar. Several reasons, really. She said that, compared to her former residence , the people at Morningstar are very friendly. She feels welcome and included in all facets. The staff and residents are all welcoming. She also enjoys having three meals a day in the dining area. That wasn't the case where she was. I'm glad she's forced out of her room to have a meal as well as she can tend to stay to herself, so that's better. She loves the once a week housekeeping, although she's a neat freak. Lastly, the affordability of Morningstar is a factor. I couldn't be happier with Morningstar.

The experience has been fantastic every step of the way, and she's extremely happy living there. Staff and other residents go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and secure.

The facility is super clean and doesn't smell like some of the others do. It's quiet and the other residents greeted my dad immediately. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far. Best independent living in Idaho Falls

I think I would give a 5 rating for each of the categories. Very pleased with the facility. My father is in the facility, he is rather picky about food. He says the food is good and likes the menu. He has participated in some exercise classes and enjoys talking with other people during meals. He has only been there for about 6 weeks now but he is hoping my mother will be joining him soon. The staff has shown him kindness, patience and respect. It was not an easy transition for him.

I've been very pleasantly impressed with this facility and the staff. And Mom loves the food and activities. Assisted living and memory care apartments are identical. And the memory care area is bright and airy. I liked knowing the memory care area was as nice as assisted living; just in case. The facility also feels like a large home. Very inviting.

I visited my dad twice a day every day he lived there [dates removed] until his death at the age of 94, so I was able to experience first hand all aspects of the facility and care. The Reflections Community staff at MorningStar Laurelhurst were dedicated and very helpful, and they cared for the residents with compassionate professionalism. There was a fairly wide range of cognitive and memory impairment in the Reflections Community, so it wasn’t easy serving all the needs of the residents. But, my dad received quality care, and the staff was always very responsive to my questions and requests. The accommodations at MorningStar were very attractive and pleasant, and the entire facility was really a beautiful place- much nicer than most of the other facilities I toured. I would definitely feel comfortable recommending MorningStar at Laurelhurst to anyone seeking memory care for a loved one.
