The staff is always friendly. I know it's hard to care for the elderly and specially if they have issues one way or another and they do a good job here. If you have concerns you can talk to them and they are willing to work on what ever needs to be done.

They have all been wonderful. The day dad arrived everyone we walked by said hello and welcomed him by name! They have all been very attentive, helpful and genuinely seem to care about making him feel welcome and important.

My parents find MorningStar Senior Living at Silver Lake provides a community atmosphere rather than apartment living with assistance. The staff and all employees are very accommodating and pleasant to interact with. Having a receptionist in the lobby, allows residence and visitors access to the facility 7x24. MorningStar hosts live music entertainment each week with a happy hour, a movie every night, birthday celebration one a month, and other scheduled activities. The dining is open for residence to dine on their own time. The lunch and dinner specials are at set times, and seating is done by a host, so residence have the opportunity to dine and meet new people. My father found out another resident went to the same school and the same graduating class, he had attended in Philadelphia. This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the hosted dining. It's a great place, and my parents are definitely enjoying themselves, regardless of their physical and mental abilities.

My mother was very well cared for. The staff were friendly, caring, and attentive. The facility was near and clean, and the activities were uplifting.

My mom is currently a resident at MorningStar at River Oaks and the experience has been good so far. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The food is top tier. We have regular meals with my mom in their dining room. I would strongly recommend MorningStar at River Oaks.

They are all to expensive, but what our family likes the most about MorningStar is the friendliness and all of their activities. My Mom has Alzheimer's and is in the memory care part but the assisted living and independent living parts have sooo many activities.

I took my mother out of another facility in the area, and discovered Morningstar almost by accident. I am glad that I found them. She is happy, healthy, and cared for, which is of great comfort to me. It is a welcoming and supportive place. All of my questions get answered promptly and they keep me informed. It's hard because I live in another state, so their support is very important.

The place is well run and very nice. I feel comfortable leaving my wife there. It is a little pricey, but generally first-class. They really seem to operate as a caring family. It's definitely a place that people should check out.

My mother has been on the memory care side since June 2023 and I can't tell you how wonderful the staff and facility is. All the rooms are huge and unique to memory care, there are showers in the rooms. There are also kitchenettes with cabinets and a full-size fridge. I looked at five or six area memory care facilities and none of them had both options. The staff is incredibly caring and really and truly loves each of the residents.

Beautiful place, well-run, great staff, family-like feeling. Not cheap, but first-class. Our experience has been very good so far.

I would give a 5 in every category. Morningstar of Pasadena is a beautiful facility with friendly, caring and professional staff. My mother has done very well there and we feel great peace of mind knowing she is in good hands. I would highly recommend the facility.

Our family loves this place, MorningStar Senior Living is the best place for [name removed]!! I will more there too if events should happen. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Excellent facility with superb, well trained and caring staff. Gorgeous location overlooking the World Famous Fountain Hills fountain. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and desert trails. The lush green park surrounding the fountain has a walking trail, statues, tributes, and ongoing seasonal activities. We thank A Place for Mom for helping us locate this facility!

They knew all the family names. They worked with Hospice team and medical teams very closely. Very coordinated service. They often consulted with family face to face. Only issue was a lag time to make any medication changes. But that was on the safe side.

Staff very considerate and helpful. Community health staff very good and ready to help when needed to coordinate with emergency transport when needed.. The only real change to consider after speaking with my in-laws, who are residents at the community would be to broaden the dinner menus. Don’t need fancy things like shrimp and scallop linguine more of the basics. Maybe mix a little more pork and beef dishes. The age group was raised on what we call comfort food.

The best thing about the facility itself is the open concept at the entry. It is more like a cruise ship with lots of windows - bright and airy. The dining room is open continuously until 630pm and not closed off like other places. It is a very pleasant environment. The only downside is that, like a lot of places, there is a lot of staff turnover and some care givers are better than others. Overall, however, the atmosphere is very positive and the residents seem to get along together.

Very friendly staff and residents. Definitely has a community feel. Staff turnover has been high though. I would recommend MorningStar of Hillsboro to others.

I like the indoor saltwater pool, the gym and the fact they have an on-site physical therapist the most. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming (residents and staff). We have a great life enriching group as well and they are very focused on providing lots of varied activities. I like the food the least, since this is independent only they don't really focus (in my opinion) a healthy choice for food, not much of a choice of vegetables.
