I looked at several and MSBC ranked the highest and still does. Most places struggle with keeping good employees, probably due to low salaries and long hours. Care for individuals with memory issues is wearing and frustrating. Morningstar suffers from this same issue. Weekend care is never as good as weekday care, due to lack of adequate staff. MSBC has several dedicated and qualified staff, but always needs more.

My spouse has been here for 5 months. I am pleased with his care and monitoring of his health. Staff is loving/great, the facilities are kept up to date and clean. I would recommend Morningstar to other without hesitation.

It is a great place with fun activities and wonderful happy people. Contact me if you want. Love we have a large apt 2 bedroom two bath and a large garage. The people in the facility are very nice. Highly recommend.

I'm so pleased that I haven't had any need to consider moving her. The facility is nicely maintained, well-run, and the staff in memory care is amazing. It's a little on the pricey side, but worth it.

We were able spend the night there, eat 3 meals, meet several residents and observe some of their activities.

On the food they seem to complain a lot, but I think that's true of a lot of facilities and a lot of residents they like comfort food and the facilities like to feed them healthy food. Most assisted living costs are very high. But I like Golden Ridge because it's always clean and doesn't smell musty or smell like a excuse me for saying this nursing home.

Morningstar is great! Morningstar is a very welcoming environment. At mealtimes, they often put the tables together so that people can easily get to know each other and foster an inclusive environment. My mom made many friends at Morningstar and quickly adapted.

The others had less facilities/activities or were just assisted/memory care facilities. I would recommend to others.

Great place. Lots of activities for Seniors! They have a veterans group. They provide great care. [name removed] and [name removed] are very warm and welcoming! Great ratio of caretakers to residents. Resident [name removed] will greet you and open the door! Highly recommend.

I have been living here at Truewood for about 3 years. One of the things I really like is that every one of the staff is wonderful and kind. I have made a few friends here. I like my apartment and the layout of it. I have a one-bedroom apartment that fits everything I wanted to bring with me from my condo. I like the food most of the time, but I also know it is hard for a kitchen staff to please everyone all the time.

I have been living here at Truewood in Henderson for a year and a half. The staff is wonderful. I have made many friends amongst staff and other residents. The food is pretty good. It's like living on a cruise ship without water. You have everything you could possibly need.

Will be moving my father into Jordan in just a few weeks. Had a tour with [name removed] and she was really wonderful. I also met the wellness team [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]. They do a wonderful job and are available 24 seven if you really need them they go the extra mile to make sure that the residents feel welcomed and loved this truly is a community. I also chose this community because it is smaller. I feel like my father will be able to walk to the dining room independently instead of walking down long hallways in those gigantic hotel like assisted living communities

The people at Morningstar are amazing! They treat their residents with respect, dignity and love. The food is really good, and families are able to share a meal with their loved one at any time. I NEVER thought my Mother would EVER be happy in an assisted living facility, but her stay at Morningstar has been nothing but positive. Did I mention that the staff are amazing? I never have to worry about Mom. I know she is being taken care of and looked after by people that truly care about her and her wellbeing. This place truly earns and deserves my five stars.

Had a tour with [name removed] and [name removed]. She was warm and introduced me to the team. I trust that they are going to take care of my mom. Excited for my mother to move in so we can have our relationship back, it’s time for me to stop being a care giver

My mom passed in July but was at the facility for 2 1/2 years. Very happy with the care. The Activity Director made it the best possible experience for us but she has since left.

From the moment we toured the community, we knew it was the right place for my family member. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and always ready to help with any need, big or small. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and feels like home. They offer a variety of activities to keep residents engaged and connected, and the food is delicious with plenty of options to choose from. What really stands out is the personalized care. The team goes above and beyond to make sure my family member feels comfortable and valued. Communication is excellent, and we always feel well-informed about any changes or updates. It’s clear that they truly care about their residents’ well-being.

I have worked in a long-term care community for many years and this building previously did have a poor management however there is a brand new administrator with a brand new management team at Jordan and I can proudly say that they have turned over a new leaf. They are eager to meet all concerns and all requests by any residents or family. The new chef is making food from scratch and the life enrichment team has added on so many additional activities that the residents have stated that they feel like they’re on a stationary cruise ship. The previous reviews from the prior years are not a true reflection of what I have seen at this building currently. The memory care program is also wonderful, the residents feel loved and their needs are met, and there is always something to do. The staff is warm and will always give a kind hello and meet your needs preemptively.

I love the vibe here. The staff are super friendly. It feels like home rather than some places that just look like a gimmicky hotel. The food is fresh. I love that they do events regularly. They brought beers for Oktoberfest. They even did a car show a few months ago.

This is a beautiful facility where a family member resides. The staff here is amazing and we feel very blessed to have such a great place for her to call home. If you’re thinking of making this your family member’s home, or your home, definitely do it!

I have had the opportunity to visit this community many times over the years, and I have to say, it gets better and better! The new Executive Director and her team have brought such a fresh of breath-air! Every time I visit, the staff is warm and inviting, the community is clean, and the overall feel is “homey”. The residents are joyful and there always seems to be something fun going on! I thoroughly enjoy making my visits to MorningStar Jordan.
