They were really responsive to all my questions and needs. It was clean, the staff were really caring and willing to work with us on getting her moved in, and getting her involved in activities.

It was a positive experience at MorningStar - [name removed]was great to work with and so helpful! It was just too far from my husband and I in Caldwell. We moved him to another facility to be closer to us.

The cleanliness and friendly staff stood out. They had numerous services that appealed to me. I would recommend them to others.

Nurse [name removed] and his staff are taking extremely good care of my brother. They are staying on top of his meds, etc. Hus Care Managers made his move positive showing respect and caring for him.

My mom has been at Morningstar Arvada for two months now. The community is full of love that you feel the moment you step in. The staff makes personal connections to the residents and makes so much effort to truly know them. They run such a nice full activity structure. Mom is happy and very content as are we. We really like that the daily memory care program has activities in so many different areas of interest from music, creative, physical. It it's a 5 for sure. I would highly recommend it.

I believe the lady’s name was [name removed], she was an excellent tour guide. It was the first residential care place I’d ever visited, so I had tons of questions. She answered them all patiently and thoroughly, and even though my dad was sure we weren’t going to move my mom there as soon as we got there, [name removed] still walked us through how everything works and did show us the apartments, just in case we changed our mind, and hey, we’d already driven all the way there, why not just look so we can get an idea of how these places are. Personally, if I were in my mom’s shoes, I’d move right in. I thought the place was great, and I thought [name removed] was great (she even knew the residents we passed by name and said hi to a couple, very friendly and comfortable). The only trouble is, my dad is sure my mom just won’t leave her own home. Bummer, it’s so hard for us to take care of her, and she stubbornly lives in Alaina about 8 miles from us. But the tour was great, and [name removed] was wonderful.

So bright and clean, very attentive and friendly All rooms have their own bathroom with shower. Our one bedroom is SPACIOUS!

My grandfather is a resident at Morningstar and every time I’ve gone to visit, which is multiple times a week, the facility is always clean, the residents are well attended to, the staff is always friendly, warm and inviting. It’s so comforting to know my loved one is in good hands. My grandfather has really thrived since his time there, he loves the food and the staff. We are truly so grateful! Thank you.

From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and genuine kindness—Receptionist at the front desk always has a big smile, and caregivers consistently go above and beyond. The environment is designed with residents’ dignity and well-being in mind, offering spacious, unique memory care suites that are kept clean as well as the facility smells nice, which is highly appreciated. What truly sets this community apart is its deep commitment to inclusion and engagement. Residents are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of activities—art, music, seasonal celebrations, and even a walking club followed by dancing, ensuring no one feels left out. The facility fosters connection, joy, and purpose, helping residents live fully despite their diagnosis. The care is 24/7, personalized, and attentive, with staff who respond promptly to needs and treat each patient with dignity.

Overall 5+! Staff is friendly, professional, caring, very responsive and proficient. Food is very good and designed for elderly residents. Very clean. Morningstar T Mountain Shadows is deigned inside and out to resemble a home. Not institutional looking at all.

Everyone truly cares and are committed to excellence! I have only positive feedback to give in my experience visiting my father-in-law. I know he enjoys most of the meals and visiting with his neighbors.

Everything at MorningStar was First cabin – – the decor was beautiful as well as were the people an awesome place to spend your golden years.

The entire team has been absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From the very beginning, [name removed] was incredibly helpful in providing information and arranging tours. He graciously gave us two tours, one of which required extra time and patience as my dad was preparing for surgery and moving slowly. He took the time to answer questions from multiple family members and stayed in touch with us throughout the entire process, which we truly appreciated. [name removed] was professional and compassionate during the home evaluation. He treated my mother with such kindness and understanding, especially considering her struggles with dementia. All of the care staff have been friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. [name removed]has been excellent in discussing care levels and personal preferences, always professional, approachable, and thorough in her follow-up. The dining and kitchen staff have also gone out of their way to introduce themselves, make my parents feel comfortable, and help them connect with other residents. The food is very good, with plenty of variety. Making a transition like this is never easy, especially with health and cognitive challenges involved. The staff at MorningStar have made it a positive experience with their encouragement and support. The facility itself is beautiful - bright rooms, high ceilings, and welcoming spaces throughout. We truly love this place and are so grateful for the care and compassion shown to our parents.

The tour was very informational, and the guide did a wonderful job showing us the facility and answering all our questions. She allowed us to take our time while touring the facility. She also invited us to come back and check out some of the upcoming events they are offering to aide in our decision-making process.

What we like the most about the community is that it overall is a very nice facility, plenty of things to do, art, library, movies, themed activities, entertainment and nice menu options. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

[name removed] showed up on time to let me and my friend view the cottage and then he let me also view the smaller cottage that I had looked at about a week earlier so we could compare the two.

They've been very good, although there have been many changes during the one year my mom has been at MorningStar. She was just transferred to the memory care floor last week so it's a whole new Odyssey beginning.

All 5s. What we like the most about the community is the Wonderful staff. Great community. Excellent food. Tons of activities. Nice facility. My mom is extremely happy there. Comments on that constantly.

My tour was quite nice. This is a beautiful facility, with good amenities and an impressive menu. The Community Relations director, who gave me the tour, was very pleasant and answered all my questions.
