Make sure you have the emails and phone number to the medical staff and managers. I live far away and doctor appointments need to be coordinated with their driving staff. They only will transport two days a week. Staff is friendly and willing to help. Encourages involvement in activities.

A good experience when checking it out but need more follow up after we have committed. Staff is a bit harried and sometimes does not have enough time to follow up. Things now have improved.

This has been a positive experience for my loved one and family. The way the staff care for my loved one, ambiance, and the food have made it a good experience for us. I'm not seeing my loved one participating in activities, and the staff don't keep me updated on any activities my loved one is participating in. The staff communication isn't as proactive as it could be to let me know what is going on with my loved one. My loved one fell and hurt a limb and the staff did call and let me know about the injury. The staff are responsive to the family's questions about our loved one. The community has 4 aides to care for 40 residents, it would be nice to see more care staff.

It was a nice community, but costed more. The dining room was open during longer hours. The rooms were nice, and the layout was okay.

This facility has been great and we're really happy with our choice. The staff is really good. I really like them, they're pretty great people. You can tell that they like being here. They're very close knit and it feels like a family here. The family/community feel is very strong at this place. One thing that I've been impressed with is that the staff always seems to know where all of the residents are and what they're doing at all times. They're always aware, but still give the residents their space. I think that's really great. Also, there doesn't seem to be a high turnover in staff at this facility, compared to other places that I have experience with. They also try really hard with the activities. Mom is in Memory Care, so it can be a challenge. What's great about the activities here is that my mom is and feels included, even if she can't always participate. Housekeeping is good. Communication with the family is really good. I feel really blessed that mom is here. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

We decided on MorningStar of Sparks because they were really friendly, we liked the overall facility, and we liked the people running it. Every time we go to visit everyone is friendly and they really try to get everything handled fast as they can. Staff seem happy which is huge. The residents also seem to be happy as well. I would recommend them to others.

I toured this facility. It wasn't quite as nice as some of the others that I toured, but was still pretty good.

I moved both of my parents in July and my mom passed away in August, only four weeks later. My dad loves it there and he has done so well considering my mom passed away. Everyone is so friendly and I know he is being taken care of. He looks better than he has in years. The food leaves a lot to be desired. I have eaten there on occasion. The last time I ate there a couple of weeks ago, we had crispy fried chicken. I don't think there was any meat on the thigh or wing.

I liked it, but it was "too fancy" for my mother. They have recently had some renovation

This facility is very good. Mom had a hard time adjusting at first, we moved her from out of state to bring her closer. No fault on their part, it was just personal adjustment that she was going through. But things are going good now. Housekeeping is once a week and they do a good job. The staff is good. I'm there once or twice a week and staff seems to be very on the spot. They're very available and very friendly. Communication with the family is good. The food is good. Good quality and variety. Overall, things have been very good so far. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I've already expressed with others how great MorningStar Senior Living at Golden Ridge is! I love their caretakers, they make you feel like you're part of a family. They talk to their patients like they're part of that family too. I would describe their communication as average. It'd be nice if they mailed me the bill earlier in the month, right now I receive it two days before it's due. I realize most of the residents families live in Arizona and I don't. As far as the office staff, I wish they were more responsive and quicker to respond. I've left messages and had to call back the next day because I hadn't heard anything. As for the staff who takes care of them, they're great.

Enjoyed tour and meeting with staff and director. Lovely facility with lots of nice features.

This place is great. The food is PHENOMONAL. Her room is very nice. They have her as high functioning as she can possibly be. We had some difficulty with her phone but she takes it to the front desk and they will call us. The care is excellent. The only problem we have is you cannot put holes in the walls to put pictures, so the room is pretty bare. The facility itself is very clean, if any of the residents have accidents they are right on it. Victoria who is the main point of contact is on the ball. All during the week they have exercise classes going on and mom absolutely loves them. I would definitely recommend MonringStar to other families- it is top notch. It is expensive, but it is worth it for the care received.

This has been a huge improvement from where my loved one was at. The care staff and meals are so much better and this is making a huge difference for my loved one. There are choices for the residents to choose from for meals. The staff communication with the family has been good. Overall, it is so much better than our previous experience with another community.

They were short staffed, whis is my only issue. The food was good but again, they were short staffed, so it was a matter of dad getting hot meals. As far as activities, they have outings, movie night, game night, and performers came during Christmas. It is expensive but overall very clean, safe, and they have a lot of activities.

Good place nice courtyard close to family.

Our first impression of MorningStar Senior Living was just how nice it is. Overall it is a good value for the money and based on our experience so far we would recommend them to other families.

Food is excellent. In dining they cater to the individuals taste and needs.
