They have a laundry problem. Am tired of finding other people clothes in sisters closet.

My mom has been in the Reflection's Memory Care at Morning Star at Ridge Gate since September 2018. Our family is so relieved that she is safe, cared for and LOVED! Of course we are sad that her dementia is rapidly advancing but we can't think of a better place than this facility. They have only been open for less than 2 years so they do have their growing pains. Every complaint I have had was immediately dealt with and a solution was given. Mom is happy doing activities that keep her busy. She is making friends with other residents as well as staff. She has gained weight with all the yummy food she has been served. And her religious needs have been met. This facility feels like OUR family's home away from home as well! The staff greets us like their family too!

My mom has been living at Morning Star about 3 months and overall is satisfied with the facility. Most of the food is good but there are a few things she does not care for and sometimes they run out of the more popular menu items. They do having considerable staff turnover in the dining room among the servers. Communication is pretty good but sometimes you have to go to the executive director to get something done. For example they were suppose to clean the carpet in her suite and it took several requests before it was done. The staff are all very friendly but there is sometimes lack of communication between the staff. The surroundings are very pleasant and modern.

When my mother first moved in in March 2018, we were very pleased with the staff, the food service and the amenities. However since, what we understand to be, a change in ownership a few months ago, food quality has declined, wait staff have been reduced in number, and maintenance activities; laundry, garbage collection and disposal, and vacuuming, take place through out the night, causing many to lose sleep. It is still the best place in South Everett, however, my mother's rating of it is not what it once was.

My Mom has been really happy since moving in to Morningstar. She loves the activities, and has made many new friends. The food in general is quite good. A few niggles with getting some maintenance items done quickly, but they've been short staffed. Many of the residents were upset by the recent departure of the Exec Director, [name removed], as he was always out and about mingling with residents and staff, and I've not spoken to anyone who had an issue with him. I can only assume the upper management had their reasons for relieving him. I hope they find someone to replace him that is just as outgoing with the residents. It's important to them.

[name removed] was helpful, friendly and knew residents by their first names, friendly and respectful. Most rooms are shared where beds are foot-to- foot. This was a shift for me but may be beneficial for the residents. Lots of gathering areas, activity room, and large court yard. Appears to have more high needs residents concerned dad may not have enough cognitive stimulation with individuals at his level. Cost is reasonable and dad can “age in place”, we would not have to move him if he needed more medical attention.

My Father is at this facility and everyone is always friendly. The caregivers have been adequate even though I feel like they have a staffing issue. They do offer some activities including bingo, card games, movies, communion, and weekly trips to go shopping. The only complaint my dad really has is the food. They serve a large breakfast and the lunch/dinner is quite pathetic. I would recommend this facility to other families.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mother-In-Law. It is a very nice facility but it is on the larger side. The marketing director who gave us the tour seemed to be very knowledgeable and even let us know all of the advantages of residing there. They do have a swimming pool, a larger outdoor space, and a nice courtyard. This facility also has independent care, assisted living, and a memory care unit. I would recommend this community to other families.

This is only my second day here. I went on a day trip yesterday. So far, both staff and residents have been helpful and friendly.

I feel that this is a good community for those that need assisted living or memory care services. The staff is very good both professional and caring activities are good with intentions to keep residents healthy aware and to give them some pleasure. Facility is kept in clean. Condition executive director is very good both caring and professional.

I have no complaints! Everything so far is wonderful.

I have lived at Atria for 18 months. My wife passed on after 10 months. Overall, I am very satisfied living here. I would like to see a REC. room somewhere in this facility.

Find this facility above average most of the time. They always seem to be some sort of help a lot. Especially at meals times. I know they have a lot to do, the caregivers, but they need help sort out of things that people eat often from the kitchen.

This is a very nice! Atria is very well taken care of! The workers are especially helpful and nice! [Removed]are really extra special!! Only complaint -Food could be served warmer!!

Again medicaid needs to be an option

Staff are kind and attentive. Good atmosphere - Clean and tidy - Repairs made promptly. Safe environment. Area for improvement: Pharmacy arrangement for residents on medication management program. Poor turn around time on first fill of new prescriptions - 2-3 days!

We were very impressed with the site. The community was very clean and well landscaped the building is only a few years old. The staff was very friendly and informed. The residents appeared to be happy. They seem to have different activities to keep the residents busy. At the time of the tour they were full or else I would have chosen this location

The tour was fine when I went to see them. However they were not the type of community we wanted. We wanted a place that was newer with bigger apartments.

This was the only community that we toured and we liked it as soon as we saw it plus they had an opening which was perfect timing for us. The staff is very nice and helpful. Mom is liking the food she has already gained weight. She is doing some of the activities and has made a few friends. The community is a little less than 10 years old and it is very clean and well kept. It gives me the piece of mind knowing she is being well cared for.
