Very clean facility, excellent staff, excellent food, apt size very adequate, very clean rooms, great activities for memory care residents.

I really enjoy the residents that live here. We have become a big Family and we look out for each other. We feel very fortunate to be able to live in this facility! It feels like home here when you walk in the front doors. My daughter also volunteers with activities here at Morningstar Parker.

My husband and I started here in senior living 3 years ago. Recently my husband moved to memory care and I am in assisted. The care takers are excellent and so friendly. They know how to take care of our needs. The staff is Amazing! We also love the kitchen staff they know what we like!

I live here in Independent for 7 years now and I really enjoy the shuttle transportation here. I gave up my car a year ago and they are able to drive me to the VA. I have made some great friends here who I enjoy dining with daily.

My wife is a resident here in Memory Care and has been doing well and getting the attention she needs. She has been here for 8 months. I like to come by everyday and breakfast with my wife every morning.

We have been here at Morningstar at least 2 years. I find the staff here very accommodating. We love our apartment and also love having the amenities to go to different places in the community to play games and do stuff outside our apartment. I really enjoy being able to go outside in the patio and ready. Also the library is beautiful !

I have been a resident here at Morning for almost 6 years. I really like my apartment. The amenities of not having to cook or clean is very nice. The rooms are very spacious and I don’t hear my neighbors. I have made some very close friends here as well.

I have been a resident here for 2 1/2 years now. I really enjoy the activities. Last week we went to a picnic at Cherry Creek and I really enjoyed myself. I live at the PALM building and i really enjoy the bed and breakfast feel. I have a few close friends and we take care of each other.

I am a new resident here at morningstar. Everybody here is so kind. So far I love going to meals to meet new friends. I really enjoy the food here as well. I look forward to doing the activities here as I hear they are very fun. Everybody here is so very kind. Especially my new neighbor [Name removed]. I have been blessed with the people that i have been meeting.

I find this facility to have very talented people that are very friendly and and helpful in in many ways.[Name Removed] is my favorite. She is a five star along with other staff. The physical therapy staff is fantastic, which includes [Name Remvoed].

Kind, courteous, professional and comprehensive.

1.4 - sales manager isn't as helpful to me now that my mother is moved in 2.4 - there have been some water leaks 3. 5 -people are very friendly 4. 5- people have helped my mother with so much! 5. 3 - the front desk people gave me a wrong key & there was a mix up with email where I got information about another resident sent to me...there are a few things that have been challenging 6. 5 - food has been great! 7. 4- she has been too tired to do too many activities but has enjoyed what she has tried 8. 3 - it is very expensive but we were willing to pay a little more to have her 10 minutes from me

Having toured other facilities, Morning Star (new management) since January is a good fit for my mother. The location is good. The "dining experience" needs improvement. Thought there would be an "open door" policy with administration, but there is a " gate keeper" who needs to know why. During the tour of the new management, I had mentioned some concerns, but apparently it is not high on their list. I know what's best for my mom. The new management does not understand seniors. Everything keeps changing, and my mom finds it difficult to adjust.

Good food options, very clean, residents seem happy, and good sized rooms. Didn't know they didn't support memory care.

Disappointed that food allergies could not be accommodated in a better manner. Disappointed with administrative management - slow response Did not care for in-house medical doctor - slow response The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful-- but I was there every day My husband was fortunate to get well enough to come home. I had hoped we both might live there in an independent living situation but it would not be a good place for me.

It was large enough that she'd have people to interact with and make friends. I would recommend to others. [name removed] seems to feel well cared for.

What we like the most about the community is that their staff are pleasant, caring and loving. However, the meals are lacking in interest and flavor. Yes, I recommend MorningStar at Bear Creek, but it's expensive.

The staff is friendly and apartment size fits the needs of my mom. There are different layouts to choose from. They do have many activities for the residents should they choose to participate.

The food menu is very heavy on potatoes, rice, and pasta, and very light on vegetables and fruit.

The head nurse is amazing and always takes good care of them. The dining area is great because they know my mom has gluten intolerance so they’re very good at making sure she avoids it. The caregivers and med techs could use a bit more training on dealing with dementia patients. Naturally, they have a lot of residents to care for so I understand that what they do just becomes a job; it doesn’t help that my mom can be very difficult and angry. But I still wish they had more empathy for the residents. I also wish they would help me in cleaning out their place. It smells because neither of them shower. But I don’t know if that’s above and beyond their responsibility.
