This has been a fine experience. All the staff were very nice and wonderful to work with. The only complaint I have is with the food. They didn't offer a lot in a way for meals. The residents used to be allowed to order anything from 7-7 and this changed. Nothing was handled with the food due to favoritism with the chef and the manager. There was a resident's meeting and the council leader took the complaints to the Manager and nothing was done about it. The apartment was nice, and the young ladies that cleaned the rooms were very good. The activities offered were good.

I would highly recommend the community to others. [Name removed] was great to work with us in the beginning. [Name removed] went above and beyond in helping the family out during the transition into the community, as well. The activities coordinator was amazing! Housekeeping, three meals a day were included, laundry, changing of linens and the room were including in the monthly rate.

My loved one was not there for very long. I really liked the head nurse, Michelle. We were in kind of a sticky situation with hospital admissions, which was not at all Truewood's fault. So my loved one did hospice at Truewood and passed relatively quickly. It was as good of an experience for our family as could be expected. considering the circumstances.

The MorningStar community is very inviting, light and nice. The staff are all very friendly and the value for the money is really good.

my loved one really liked MorningStar. its a very nice and clean community. they fed him well, administered medication correctly and he was very happy during his stay. the only complaint I have is that the office doesn't seem on top of things when it comes to payments and refunds.

The services that they provide here are great. There is someone in her room checking in on her every 45 minutes and they are on top of any health concerns. The staff have been absolutely wonderful and have made me feel comfortable having my loved one here. The facility is strictly memory care based which has been super helpful. I would recommend MorningStar to others looking.

I would recommend it to people. For Dad, the location is closer to where some of his friends are. It checked all his boxes.

We went with Morningstar because of the friendliness of the staff, the overall value, and it is just an outstanding place. The food is amazing, you get a full menu that has a lot of variety and they are chef prepared. I am picky and I thought it was restaurant quality food. I think it is a top notch facility and I would have no problem living there myself. It has a very warm, friendly, and inviting feel to it right when you walk in.

Too big, not the right fit for my loved one.

The tour guides were awesome. The other community that we went to seemed to be interacting more with the community. It was a nice and clean community there was just another community that stood out more.

This community was great for us and our loved one. They did all that they could for my loved one at this community.

Our family had an in person tour and MorningStar was wonderful, the lady who gave the tour was so informative and welcoming. They had so many different amenities for the residents to take advantage of, it was just a vibrant lively atmosphere. However, our loved ones health was progressively getting worse and we just did not think it would be the best fit for them

MorningStar is a beautiful facility. All of the staff were very nice and the price was great. My mom just was looking for someplace a little smaller with a more homey feel to it.

I found communication between myself and the upper stuff to be a little slow, there was a gap of time in answers and when things would get done. But other than that, our experience with Morningstar was great and I would recommend to others looking as long as you are able to afford it.

Our experience was outstanding, they were so wonderful to our loved one. They put their residents first always, and would always check-in on our loved one. They kept up constant communication with our family even if it was late in the evening. Their number one thing though was the genuine care they showed the residents, you could really tell they loved their people

It has been a wonderful delight to see how much this community has grown. The team I have met with are nothing short of kind and caring and looking to help in whatever capacity they can. It is beautiful inside and out and feels very cozy and homelike!

This community was older but it was big and hard for us to get around so I could only imagine how it would have been for my mother.

This was our first experience with an assisted facility, but I was happy with them. I think they were short-staffed, but the staff that were there were very friendly and helpful.

Our family was able to have an in person tour and it was excellent. All the representatives were wonderful, exceptional and answered all of our questions. However it was just to expensive for us.
