About a year ago I had to move my mother from a facility close to me to one close to my sister. Unfortunately, the care went down, and the price did nothing but go up. During my search for a new facility, I found Legacy House of Avondale. My initial contact with them was great. They went out of their way to get me information and my mother in as soon as possible. [name removed] and [name removed] are fantastic and have been nothing but caring and helpful during the entire process. I can't say enough about them and the entire staff we have met so far. This has been a rough transition for mom moving twice in such a short period with her memory issues, but I see a caring and understanding here at Legacy House that was completely absent at the previous facility. Thank you all!!!

We've been really happy with my loved one's care at MorningStar. It's a really lovely place. The staff is wonderful - they're very helpful and very caring. Everything is nice and clean. They do a really good job with the meals. It's just a wonderful place.

[name removed] was extremely helpful, professional, and honest. He is one of the reasons I chose Legacy House of Avondale. The community is clean and neat and everyone is kind.

If it wasn't for this place we would be in financial trouble. They're awesome! I've referred a friend here too who moved in in September. I can tell you that they're half as expensive as others in the Phoenix area and just as beautiful. And everyone in Phoenix charges up to $700/month to dispense meds, and they do not.

They are vey attentive, nice, and very caring staff. They could improve on, the communication with the family for activities, and things going on within the community. It would be nice, if we had the capability to pay online.

Very very very impressed with Morningstar and it’s staff. [name removed] is an absolutely amazing man. His knowledge and compassion was incredible. He’s been a lifesaver during a very tough time for our family. I can’t say enough great things about this place.

I would like them to be a bit more proactive when it comes to monitoring my loved ones cognitive decline. I picked this community because, they had a great available room, lots of activities, and the people seemed like my loved one would like them.

We love all the windows and natural light. The staff is wonderful and we love that it is a faith based community. My brother is also in memory care and we recommended it to a friend.

Our loved ones can rest and have everybody else cook and clean for them. They no longer have to do the dishes and cook not having to cook, they are in a safe environment and it is a nice community with a full kitchen if they want to use it.

We picked this community, because it had what we needed right away and the location was to her doctors office for rides. It's been remodeled and looks gorgeous

MorningStar at Silver Lake is a good place with excellent staff. I would recommend it.

The people here have been very kind to me. I'm still very independent, but I don't drive. My daughter found LHA and I feel very comfortable here. I've worked for the state and know there are differences in assisted living.

It was a lovely place to stay. The facility is really nice - the grounds were beautiful, well kept, and clean. I wouldn't have minded going there myself. The staff were fabulous, even in difficult situations with our loved one. I think they did a good job meeting with our family and updating care plans.

We picked this community, for several reasons, one is that it is in close proximity to my brother's house, it is a clean and very friendly facility, and it has a reasonable number of residents...not too big not too small. Overall, we are very pleased with the community, and our parents seem to be adjusting pretty well. I can't speak highly enough about the staff who gives them such good care!

We went to several places and this was the one facility that did not depress me. People were up and about and engaged. The care and the humor from the staff was just wonderful. His room was lovely as well. They always kept in communication with me if there was any ever question or concern. It was an incredible experience and I would give them all top marks. It was the best place and I would recommend them to others in a heart beat.

What sticks out most about MorningStar at Silver Lake is the very friendly staff. They always kept me updated with anything going on. They let me know asap about any sort of issues with dad.

For a retirement community this is a great place. If your loved one needs more care than limited assistance, I would recommend you continue looking at other communities. The staff and community lack some care needs and equipment to care for the residents needs. The staff communication with the family has been good if we have questions or concerns about our loved one. It is a beautiful community.

We decided on MornignStar of Idaho Falls because I knew of someone who worked there and she told me all good things about the facility, I figured if she was internal and said it was good then it had to be a nice place. The staff are very on the ball - if there is ever a request or a need, they are right there to take care of it. I would recommend them to others looking.

So far things are going well and I am seeing some improvements with my dad. The staff and the residents are all very friendly. Every time I visit they have something going on activities wise. My dad does like the food that is served. I would most definitely recommend MorningStar Senior Living at Golden Ridge to other families. It is a very well - managed facility.

It's a new place and it has wonderful staff. Everybody is very friendly, the people are very friendly and the staff are very friendly. It's independent living, but we have a call button in case we need help. If they don't hear from you, they'll come and check you; they're on top of it. The food is to die for and they have lots of activities of all kind. You can participate if you want to. We go on trips; we've been to the Portland Spirit, a rose garden, and shopping centers. They'll also take you to doctor appointments within 10 miles of the community. It's just a real pleasant place to be.
