This community is extremely expensive. However, she visited and decided that was her choice place and didn't want to look anywhere else. They offer many of activities . She is okay with the food. She has made friends there that she dines with. This is one of the top senior living communities in the our area.

The staff and residents at Morningstar went out of their way to make us welcome. The residents who sat with us for dinner in the dining room had great things to say about living there. We observed live music during a weekday and many activities. The place has an active and very caring feel.

MorningStar Albuquerque is a sweet place full of love!

They just really know their business and their care level is really high. I moved him in and they just took over his care and it was amazing. I think the food is good and they offer a limited variety, They offer two special of day and everyday alternatives. I chose this community because of its location in Fountain Hills, everything is close by and it is safe, quiet, and beautiful community. It has that small town feel. They have been very good through this COVID -19 crisis with communication as well.

I am very impressed with place itself. It is very clean and very friendly. The staff are very careful about what they do and very friendly. He likes the food. I chose this community because I was impressed with the people that interviewed us, it is very beautiful, and it has a christian background which was all very important to us. I would recommend this community to other families.

We have been fortunate to have Mom at MorningStar at Littleton since November of 2018. For the first 18 months she lived on the Assisted Living side and most recently has transitioned to the Memory Care Unit. This place is great for so many reasons! Let’s start with the layout. The place feels like a home, not a dorm or your standard senior living facility. The facility is set up so that there are numerous places to sit and visit, both inside and outside. There a numerous activities and outings for residents to involve themselves as well. But by far, the most important component is the people. The staff are caring, compassionate and committed. There is overlap between the AL and Memory Care side so that residents maintain relationships. Although my preference would be for Mom to be able to live independently this is just not in the cards as they say. MorningStar at Littleton is as good an option as there could be in our opinion. Thank you!

Morningstar of Littleton cared for my parents, with my dad being a resident for six plus years. My parents loved the staff and you could feel the love the staff shared for them. As a family member, I too felt part of the community with Morningstar staff treating me as a friend and a partner in my parents care.

We moved my grandfather in during the quarantine which was an unbelievably stressful time. All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the entire move in process was as painless and possible and ensure that my grandfather was comfortable through everything. Because of visitation restrictions the staff has been beyond helpful in doing everything from providing companionship to assisting with phone calls and any other challenges that have come up. I think I might be one of the most difficult and needy people that they deal with because of my worrying about my grandfather. They have NEVER made me feel like I am needy but the opposite with ensuring me that they APPRECIATE that I am involved with being there for him. The facility is beautiful and the staff are too inside and out! Grateful to have such a wonderful team supporting my family through this! My grandfather never wanted to leave his house, but has found his care team to make this difficult period truly enjoyable!

My wife, during the last six weeks of her life, was kept safe and clean thanks to the staffs at Morning Star and Abode hospice. Knowing she was being well taken care of made my own life, at a most difficult time, much easier.

The people in charge at this facility, specifically [name removed] and [name removed] are the most accessible and accomodating people I have ever worked with. They have made this transition easy and go out of their way to make sure all needs are met. The whole facility is top notches.

My friend is in the memory care unit and gets excellent care. There are activities hourly and her needs are promptly met. The staff is competent and courteous.

I am currently living in another asst. living place but went to visit my friend at MorningStar. He is paying much less than I am, but seems to be getting much more.

Very impressed with this facility. The people in charge are competent and caring. The grounds are beautiful inside and out. There are always stimulating and enjoyable activities planned. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of assisted living.

My husband has been in the memory care area for about 2 months. We love it here. The activities are varied and the residents are very well cared for. But the best part of MorningStar is the kindness and love of its staff. They are all so gentle and accommodating and put the needs of the residents first. We are very lucky to be here.

From the very first time we stepped foot in the door, we knew this place would be home for mom. The directors, front desk, caregivers, all staff are absolutely above and beyond helpful. This is the most friendly upbeat atmosphere. I am so pleased to have found this wonderful facility via A Place for Mom. Everyone here is so nice, helpful and kind. Love the hands-on approach by everyone in the building. Thank you!

MorningStar is beautiful from the inside/out. The love you feel from every employee is a great feeling. I come into this facility many times throughout the week and I truly enjoy the atmosphere. They have one of the best memory cares in town. If your looking for a great place for mom or dad. Give them a shot. They won’t let you down.

This is the place ever, my mother lived there for 5-years and was taken care of like no other. I took many trips from Sacramento, CA to Idaho Falls, Idaho to check on my mother no complaints. We had other choices to place mom but nothing like Morning Star! Class act, everyone there are professional, caring and treated everyone very well.

I was presented with a difficult decision seventeen months ago. A decision that involved my active, independent aunt who was suffering from memory loss. My aunt lived in Boise, Idaho and could no longer take care of herself. She was no longer safe. My family and I decided that she would need to be moved closer in order for me to take care of her. I began my search for a facility that would give her the care she would need. I visited several other memory care facilities in the Idaho Falls area. I also talked to friends who had to find such care for their love ones. The conclusion was to place her in Morning Star. I found the staff to be very kind and supportive of me during this difficult time. Realizing that his change was hard for her and me. My aunt had many ups and downs before she was able to accept her new residency. She struggled with changing her clothes, anger and routine. My aunt enjoys her time at Morning Star and tells me of the kindness they bestow on her during the day such as the snacks, playing bingo and them asking her to help with simple jobs such as placing flyers in envelopes for them. All of these activities make her feel valued. She likes their food but is afraid it is making her fat. I have visited her at different times during the day and have always found her to be clean, happy and talkative. The staff makes me feel welcome by calling me by name. She and I particularly like the fact that she goes on outings in the community. I have found the staff to always tell me when my aunt is running low on supplies so that she is never out of the things she needs. When I call an hour to 30 minutes a head to alert the staff that I will be talking my aunt out of Morning Star for an errand, family gatherings or doctor she has always be ready to go. Until recently access to my aunt was always easy but because of carelessness of a few, family members are no longer able to let themselves in they must wait for a staff member to open the door and at times that can be long due to other duties the staff members must attend to. I would recommend Morning Star for anyone who was looking for good quality care for people suffering from memory loss. Their compassion is genuine and appreciated by those who are suffering with the gradual loss of someone they love. I give Morning Star a five -star rating. [name removed]
