MorningStar Senior Living

Morning Star community is very beautiful, it is clean and up to date. If we could give the staff members 10 stars we would, they have been great during this time. The staff really make everyone feel welcomed, and they know everyone by name. The activities are wonderful, they have movie nights, they would take them on little excursions. They also have yoga and other exercise classes, there is really a lot of things for the residents to do to staff active and engaged.

From our understanding the care services and activities they offer are good. We really liked how friendly the people are at this community, especially the front desk workers. The gave us immediate attention and were very thorough with explaining to us what this community had to offer. We were very impressed by that and the overall cleanliness and friendliness of this community. The rooms are very good, and adequate.

My father, [name removed], has called Morningstar - FH home for over a year now. Since he has been very independent and active we didn't know how well this would work. He just turned 90 and I can tell you he loved being a resident of Morningstar. The quality ofo care and compassion that every employee has towards the residents make the difference. Thanks so much for taking care of our dad.

My mom is currently a resident at MorningStar in their assisted living facility. This is a small facility with a terrific staff. I love that I recognize most of the staff when I visit and that they recognize me! This is exactly the "home" that my sister and I envisioned for my mom when we knew that an assisted living facility was in her future. The staff is very knowledgeable in senior issues, which was very important to our family, but they are also so very caring and compassionate--my guess is that having both an empathy for the residents and a thorough knowledge of senior issues may be somewhat of an anomaly. My mom entered Morningstar during the Covid 19 crisis. Altough visitation is limited, certainly not Morningstar's fault, the staff has accommodated our many requests to the best of their ability. With regard to the facility itself, it is very well kept and doesn't look like an assisted living facility, something that appealed to our family. My mom's "apartment" is quite nice, with high ceilings and a large, bright bay window. There are many activities available to the residents and too many amenities to name here--see their website! My favorite place for sure! I could definitely see my parents living here. Will be scheduling another online tour with my aunt and niece next week.

In general, when you walk in, things are nice and pristine. You see people around the community cleaning and the individual rooms are kept up very well also. The staff take a particular interest in the family members. They have been very accessible when I have questions or concerns and have been happy to assist my uncle with anything he needs. They have even sent me photos of him engaging in activities since I live out of state and cannot always be there. My uncle enjoys many of the activities they provide like bowling and taking trips to the ice cream shop. Morning Star Assisted Living & Memory Care Of Boulder is a very nice place and would not hesitate to recommend them to another family looking for a place for their loved one.

This community is extremely expensive. However, she visited and decided that was her choice place and didn't want to look anywhere else. They offer many of activities . She is okay with the food. She has made friends there that she dines with. This is one of the top senior living communities in the our area.

The staff and residents at Morningstar went out of their way to make us welcome. The residents who sat with us for dinner in the dining room had great things to say about living there. We observed live music during a weekday and many activities. The place has an active and very caring feel.

MorningStar Albuquerque is a sweet place full of love!

They just really know their business and their care level is really high. I moved him in and they just took over his care and it was amazing. I think the food is good and they offer a limited variety, They offer two special of day and everyday alternatives. I chose this community because of its location in Fountain Hills, everything is close by and it is safe, quiet, and beautiful community. It has that small town feel. They have been very good through this COVID -19 crisis with communication as well.

I am very impressed with place itself. It is very clean and very friendly. The staff are very careful about what they do and very friendly. He likes the food. I chose this community because I was impressed with the people that interviewed us, it is very beautiful, and it has a christian background which was all very important to us. I would recommend this community to other families.

We have been fortunate to have Mom at MorningStar at Littleton since November of 2018. For the first 18 months she lived on the Assisted Living side and most recently has transitioned to the Memory Care Unit. This place is great for so many reasons! Let’s start with the layout. The place feels like a home, not a dorm or your standard senior living facility. The facility is set up so that there are numerous places to sit and visit, both inside and outside. There a numerous activities and outings for residents to involve themselves as well. But by far, the most important component is the people. The staff are caring, compassionate and committed. There is overlap between the AL and Memory Care side so that residents maintain relationships. Although my preference would be for Mom to be able to live independently this is just not in the cards as they say. MorningStar at Littleton is as good an option as there could be in our opinion. Thank you!

Morningstar of Littleton cared for my parents, with my dad being a resident for six plus years. My parents loved the staff and you could feel the love the staff shared for them. As a family member, I too felt part of the community with Morningstar staff treating me as a friend and a partner in my parents care.

We moved my grandfather in during the quarantine which was an unbelievably stressful time. All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the entire move in process was as painless and possible and ensure that my grandfather was comfortable through everything. Because of visitation restrictions the staff has been beyond helpful in doing everything from providing companionship to assisting with phone calls and any other challenges that have come up. I think I might be one of the most difficult and needy people that they deal with because of my worrying about my grandfather. They have NEVER made me feel like I am needy but the opposite with ensuring me that they APPRECIATE that I am involved with being there for him. The facility is beautiful and the staff are too inside and out! Grateful to have such a wonderful team supporting my family through this! My grandfather never wanted to leave his house, but has found his care team to make this difficult period truly enjoyable!

My wife, during the last six weeks of her life, was kept safe and clean thanks to the staffs at Morning Star and Abode hospice. Knowing she was being well taken care of made my own life, at a most difficult time, much easier.

The people in charge at this facility, specifically [name removed] and [name removed] are the most accessible and accomodating people I have ever worked with. They have made this transition easy and go out of their way to make sure all needs are met. The whole facility is top notches.

My friend is in the memory care unit and gets excellent care. There are activities hourly and her needs are promptly met. The staff is competent and courteous.

I am currently living in another asst. living place but went to visit my friend at MorningStar. He is paying much less than I am, but seems to be getting much more.

Very impressed with this facility. The people in charge are competent and caring. The grounds are beautiful inside and out. There are always stimulating and enjoyable activities planned. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of assisted living.

My husband has been in the memory care area for about 2 months. We love it here. The activities are varied and the residents are very well cared for. But the best part of MorningStar is the kindness and love of its staff. They are all so gentle and accommodating and put the needs of the residents first. We are very lucky to be here.
