I really like this facility because it is a smaller community and it is very tight knit. I feel like it suits my Aunt very well. When I had questions, the staff addressed all of them. They followed through with everything that they said they were going to do during the tour. I am very pleased with this facility. The staff is very nice and they get all of the residence involved in the activities that are going on that day. This community just feels so bright and vibrant. From what I’ve been told, my Aunt likes the food and has told me they are good sized portions. They serve 3 meals a day with a few different options if you have specific food needs. There are also snacks and desserts throughout the day if you’re hungry between meals. If my Aunt wants to, she can keep food in her room. She has a small kitchenette equipped with a sink, microwave, and a refrigerator so she can heat snacks up. The only thing I have a complaint on is I wish the rooms were just a little bit bigger and cost just a little less. The facility also has a few activities that my Aunt can do. There’s bingo, games, movies, and a bus that can take them out and about. I would recommend this community.

I love this community for my mom she loves it here. The food is fair. The staff here is nice and caring. Lots of activities when mom is up to it like social hours and music things. It has a really nice courtyard she can enjoy. The place always stays clean and maintained.

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my loved one and I have no complaints of how things had went. The staff where on time to our appointment and where very friendly throughout our visit. I liked the open floor plan that was easy to navigate through and all of the great amenities for the residents. It was just not the right fit for us in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone who was interested.

My friend, and I had a nice tour of this community. Everyone was very kind to us. The staff we met was kind, and helpful. They were informative, and our questions were answered. From what we saw the community looked nice, and clean. The experience went well, but she did not feel this was the community for her.

My mom had to leave for a brief stay in the hospital after being here only 2 weeks. So now she is resettling in and I think it is going to work out. The staff is very caring and friendly. It is a smaller community and they are able to quickly respond to her for any assistance she may need. I have had lunch with my mom on a few occasions and the food is very good. They will provide substitute choices if you don't like what is served. There are plenty of activities and the staff will come and knock on the doors of the residents to try and encourage them to participate. My mom and I recently attended a lemonade party get-together they had organized. I feel very satisfied that mom is being well cared for here at Homestead of Lenexa.

The major reason why we chose this place is that once my dad funds run out they will accept Medicaid and in my search that is difficult to find. He is doing great since moving there. He is in a wheelchair so that makes it difficult to participate in the activities but she does what he is able to do and he is meeting new people and making friends. He is not a fan at all of the food but then again he was in a rehab center and the food was wonderful so I think he was spoiled by that experience. They do have a nice courtyard to sit when the weather turns a little cooler. The staff is nice and very accommodating and attentive to the residents.

This community was clean when we looked at it. This community was our second choice. The staff were friendly and they seemed to offer some nice amenities. We knew the director at the other community which helped us make our decision to choose that one.

The food at this community is good and they offer daily activities. The staff have been friendly and they answer our questions. They keep the community clean and I would recommend this community.

I liked this community when we visited it. The community seemed clean and there was no odor. The person that took us on tour was sweet. This community was a little more expensive than the community we chose.

When dad first moved into this community I would have given them a two or three. I believe he was not evaluated properly before he moved in so they were not prepared for him when he moved in. Things were corrected quickly. The community is clean and the food is good. The nursing staff are really good and encouraging. Overall they do a good job.

Independent Living - $2550 2 bed/2 bath duplex style, laundry, full kitchen, 2 car garage. Maintenance, lawn care, basic cable, utilities. No housekeeping. Activities provided. Meal plan $425 2 people 3 meals per day or $5 per meal. $2000 community fee. 1250 sq ft. Pet deposit $1500 one pet.

When I contacted them for information about their community it sounded like they were not a good fit for our needs. They were not able to do transports if needed. It was not part of their normal services but they were willing to try and were happy to see her for an assessment. I got helpful and upfront feedback.

This was a really nice community and the people were very helpful and informative. I saw that the residents were out and doing different activities. All of my questions were answered. This just was not the right fit for my loved one. The community is not locked and we need a locked community.

34 residents. Prices are all inclusive. No extra chgs meals (3 included plus snacks or dine anytime on limited menu) or med mgmnt; pers'l assist with shower, etc MD in 2x/mo. 24 hr nurse on site. Beauty shop staffed 1x/wk. Good activity list, transportation to shops, events, dine out 1x/mo. Clean, staff friendly. Pvt. Rooms seem small. When i took a tour of the community i was able to see the apartments available. The layout of the bedrooms weren't really what i was looking for. The living room had no natural light and the only window available was near the bedroom. The place was clean and had a lot to offer but it didn't work out for my loved one.

This tour went very well for my loved one and myself. The staff was kind to my mother and patient with her questions. They gave us a detailed and very informative tour of the community followed up with many emails to further review this location. I didn't think it was as nice and had the same luxuries as some of the other places we had looked at.

Lexington Park is a great community. The staff are very friendly and helpful in transitioning my loved one. They have been very resourceful and knowledgeable with my loved ones care. They do a great job communicating with the family.
