[name removed] is very very happy at the complex. She feels secure, has made friends, and after not living alone for like 50 years, she's made a rather remarkable adjustment. The majority of that is due to the staff and the people at the complex. When people say good morning to you and smile, and you don't know them, that's a sign that things are well where they are living. Every time I've had a problem the staff has responded, Which is wonderful and unusual, I might add. I have no problem recommending the facility to possible tenants and in fact have been doing that since my sister moved in.

The staff is amazing and they make real effort to know the residents by name. The Villas are quiet and the small outdoor space is very relaxing. All of the residents we have met have been friendly and welcoming. All in all our short experience in the Villas has been pleasant.

Turners Rock is a great place in general. My mom has been here for almost two years and the staff is GREAT!! The people that stay at Turners are so nice and friendly. The Activity Director and he is GREAT! There are so many fun things to do.

I don't know how you get by just renting to the happiest people and hiring the most helpful and caring staff, but you have accomplished that. Nothing is left to change and care is a BIG part of their name.

Hello. I have lived here for over 2 years and I really enjoy talking with my new friends. My wife is deceased and while I miss her terribly, Turners Rocks makes me happy. I would like to leave with this poem. Rocks like a cradle, stands like a rock, staff is wonderful and happy is the flock- at least around here.

Our dad moved to Merrill Gardens Wright Park a year ago. From our first visit and everyday since, the staff has been kind, respectful and helpful. Staff members have helped our dad maintain his independence while also encouraging him to participate in the many activities offered. They went so far as to organize a weekly cribbage game so Dad could meet new people while playing his favorite game. We feel welcome during our weekly visits and are so grateful to have found such a lovely home for our dad.

This facility has it all!! Top notch staff, excellent food, activities, facility with amazing views. From [name removed] who showed the facility, to [name removed] who made the move a fun and easy experience, and [name removed]who walked us through the signing with humor and professionalism; this place is classy and fun. We feel this is the perfect home for our aunt to remain active and engaged while being cared for by [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]who go out of their way to make everyday special. Merrill Gardens Wright Park - you are all extraordinary.

We had an abrupt need for assisted living last spring. I basically had to figure it all out in a week. [name removed] and [name removed] stepped up with openness, patience, and flexibility. They helped me to learn what I needed to think about without being pushy. Once we got in the rest of the staff have been amazing, knowing my family’s names and meeting their unique needs. The facility property is really easy to access and the “two story” format makes it quick to get in and out of the unit. It is well maintained. I looked at a lot of places and actually toured 5 places. A Place for Mom was a huge help. The facilities run the gamut in layouts, services, and costs. I found this one to be a really good value.

So far our mom is very happy there. Shes a picky eater and claims she doesn't eat meat, but she talks about the food being very good and served hot. She does have sausage and bacon at breakfast. Moms not much of a socializer, so we are happy she meets up with the same people for all 3 meals. It would have been helpful from the start to know who to call for what. I mentioned some issues with the aides and [name removed] provided me with a good update. The place is small enough to feel very homey and easy to get to know people.

I am impressed with the staff. They are both friendly and anxious to help. The activities are diverse and seem to be fun for all. My daughter has made a number of new friends. My overall impression is a very positive one.

There are lots of activities and the staff is very warm and welcoming. We would recommend. So far so good.

Having moved my dad into Merrill Gardens almost 6 weeks ago he is doing well and loves his apartment. The staff from the director [name removed] all the way to the front desk has been warm, kind and extremely helpful. I look forward to my dad thriving there.

Everything has been good so far. It is great for us, but it may not be for everyone. We are still very independent. So I'm not sure how it is. If you have to have more care.

Overall probably like many places I received much prompter assistance when we were in sales mode. After signing the contract they have been less responsive. For example we have been waiting several weeks for help assembling furniture. The room size is great, full size kitchen and full washer/dryer in unit. Three closets and ample kitchen and bathroom storage. The food is exceptional, though the restaurant-style service makes it slow at times. The activities are age appropriate and good for a mix of physical abilities. Residents and staff have been kind and welcoming. There have been inconsistent communications from staff about certain pricing, such as what is included or not in the food budget. The upstairs lounge provides a peaceful setting with spectacular views of the mountains and water. There are several decks and patios with planted box gardens for access to the outside. My parents have adjusted well from a small town setting to city life and enjoy the amenities of being close to medical providers, downtown, and cultural opportunities.

5’s across the board. We’re moving Mom in this week and everyone has been amazing. Can't recommend MGWP enough. The location is perfect for Mom as it’s right next door to the 1st Presbyterian Church of Tacoma (big deal for her), and the Sky Deck offers an amazing view of the sound. The staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly, and animals are allowed, so we can bring our dogs to visit her. The food is also amazing.

All 5s! The Administrative staff has gone above and beyond to facilitate the entire process of moving my mom into care, and the Care staff is helpful, compassionate, and patient.

This place is the best! They are so caring and my mother in law loves the food, the amenities, and the activities. Everyone is SO kind---especially [name removed]

Merrill gardens was very nice. It was all [name removed] desire to leave. Staff were very accommodating with our particularly difficult and unique situation.

Every one here is Happy and kind, both residents and especially the staff, who are awesome and always ready to help! I would absolutely recommend this community to others who are currently searching!! This is a wonderful place if you get lucky enough to grab up one of our vacancies.
