What we like the most about the community is that the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The facility is clean and inviting, and usually has some sort of theme, decorations, etc. [name removed] and her staff are busy taking care of business.

[name removed] our tour host was great- he even came in on his scheduled day off. All residents seemed very happy as well as staff. We had a nice visit from the new chef who explained the menus. The facility is clean, updated and well taken care of.. we are telling our family members about this being a possibility for Ken’s aging parents. I would rate it a 9 out of 10.

Truewood has been the perfect location for my dad. Good food, great care, good location near all his doctors, readily available transportation, very reasonable price. Lots of activities and good service. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families.

I love living here , the staff take excellent care of me . I love going to happy hour and bingo and all the trips . I’m so glad I decided to live here . All the staff and people that live here are very friendly and helpful to me It is so nice I convinced my friend to live here too ! The food is amazing too

The size of apartment is good with space for his small dining table in the kitchen and he has a loveseat and recliner in the living room, a patio to drink his coffee, a spacious bedroom, and I loved how there are safety bars in the bathroom and pull cords for help in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom. His walk in closet is quite large as well. He hasn't embarked on the activities much yet but I've eyed the bingo and movies, and they always have coffee or water downstairs. The food as we've passed by smells good!

Mission Ridge is an amazing place to live. I moved here when they first opened and I’m proud to call MR my home. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, even though they won’t allow me to be on staff with them. I’ve made some wonderful friends here. Overall, it is a great experience and I would highly recommend Mission Ridge to others.

So far a 5 for all. Everyone that we met was friendly and helpful. If they could not help with a question, they found someone that could. And the place smells fantastic. A wonderful neighborhood experience.

My mother-in-law lived at this Merrill Gardens for almost two years, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care she received. From day one, the staff treated her with compassion, patience, and genuine respect. They took the time to get to know her personality, her routines, and what made her feel comfortable and safe. The caregivers were consistently attentive and kind, and they communicated with our family regularly, so we always felt informed and involved. The activities team did an amazing job keeping residents engaged with meaningful programs – everything from music sessions to crafts to daily social interactions. The facility itself was always clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for residents with memory challenges. I always felt at ease knowing my mother-in-law was in an environment that supported her needs and honored her dignity. I am truly grateful for the dedication and heart of every staff member who cared for her. This community made a difficult journey

I appreciate the tour. I am looking for a future possible option for my mother. I really liked the facility and the staff seemed very personable. It's a little farther from my home than another facility that I liked as well. I'll keep all the information that I collected.

We were so impressed by Truwood. Everyone there was so nice. They answered all of our questions and concerns. We can’t wait to have our mother join their community. we think TrueWood is going to be a great place for our mother and hopefully when it is our time to join a community, we will be ready to enjoy a place like Truwood ourselves. We will recommend Truwood to all of our friends and family in the future. We are so grateful for everyone there and we are grateful to a place for mom for helping us find Truwood.

We turned four different facilities over a year ago and Merrill Gardens with our top choice. We aren’t ready to go into assisted-living quite yet, but [name removed] at this facility invite us to different events and keep us updated on when they have rooms available and shows us rooms. Once we feel like we are ready to go into assisted living this is the place we will be moving to we have met a lot of different people on the events we have attended and everyone has been friendly and nice and it is a place that we think we would be happy. The people that work there are very friendly and very helpful. It won’t be quite like home, but we will make it into our home

I want to thank Merrill Gardens for treating my family like their own. My grandma lived in the Garden House for a year and a half, and it truly is a “garden house”—full of light, warmth, and life from both residents and staff. From our first tour with [name removed], my mom and I knew this place was special. Dementia and Alzheimer’s are never easy, but Merrill Gardens gave my grandma a true home where her needs were met with compassion. The staff’s longevity and kindness made all the difference—it’s not a revolving door, and everyone is a Merrill Gardens employee, creating real connection and care. The activities were thoughtful, the food great, and we always felt peace knowing she was safe and loved. I was picky when choosing a community, but Merrill Gardens exceeded every expectation. Thank you [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and so many others for giving my grandma comfort, dignity, and love—and for making us part of your family.

Just enjoyed a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner hosted for the residents and their family and friends !! This was outstanding- the food, company, and environment. This place always has the best activities planned for the residents, and to even think of inviting loved ones is great!

My experience has been fantastic. I have been here 14 months and everything is better than I expected. The staff has gone over and above to make sure I and my wife, who is in there memory care unit, can be together as much as possible. They have made both of our quality of life better than it was before we came here.

I would give Merrill Gardens a five star rating and was very impressed with the beautiful one bedroom apartment my sister-in-law moved into. Also had a wonderful lunch and have eaten there a few times and always impressed with the quality of food. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They also offer courtesy rides to resident's bank or shopping and even occasional field trips.

I moved my parents into one of their cottages. Two bed/two baths. They are very happy there. Staff friendly and considerate. Only complaint would be the food. Nothing fancy just plain with lots of chicken and little variety. I would have expected better meals due to the cost. But they're content and that's what is important. Of all I toured Merrill Gardens met all their needs.

Merrill Gardens is very nice. My mom settled in nicely and is well taken care of. Everyone is very friendly and no complaints about the food. I visit usually twice a week. I do some cleaning when I'm there. That would be my only criticism. But, I do like things spotless, so it may be more me and not them. She's happy there.

Hey she is loving it. Definitely a true independent living community. Although some neighbors do have helpers that come in. There are a lot of young at heart folks and most participate in the offered activities. My MIL has made friends who regularly walk to Main Street and go places close to them.

Absolutely recommend Merrill Gardens! The level of care really sets them apart. The team has been attentive, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile for us. A great community to be part of.
