Merrill Gardens

All the care staff and all the staff here is wonderful and very helpful. The also very concerning on how you are feeling. I also love that they offer outings such as grocery shopping and restaurant outings.

I moved to Merrill Gardens shortly after I lost my husband. I could see that it was lovely, but I didn’t know if I would fit in if I would enjoy if it would meet my needs. It is a great place to live. Merrill Gardens at Wright Park has everything you would want. The apartments are lovely well maintained. The staff is like family. I think they are exceptionally good. The food is well prepared and you can eat at any time from 7 to 7. There are good activities and fun trips. The atmosphere is good. There are movies every night and fun parties. Best of all are the people who live here doesn’t take long to fit in and everyone has been kind and welcoming. I believe that this facility is the best of the best. Come along and see you won’t be disappointed.

Merrill Gardens is a welcoming and warm place. The General Manager and the administration staff is very warm and helpful. I feel that this is a real community and the administration sets the tone. I love the idea of the all day dining, you can have a meal or snacks at any time. I love the location of Merrill Gardens, it is within a residential area, surrounded by parks, trees and walking paths. It is very convenient to everything.

[name removed] was very helpful before move in and after. My uncle loves living there and everyone has been very welcoming. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a community.

I've lived at Merrill Gardens for 11 months. Loved it from the first day, although I didn't get to enjoy all the activities for many months due to having a back injury. But the first great thing I found was how friendly and helpful the staff is. This goes for the residents as well. For the past several months since my back has healed, I've been enjoying so many fun things regularly. Weekly I enjoy water aerobics, karaoke, Bible study, Sunday church service and watercolor workshop. Monthly I love the Ladies tea and going out to lunch. They have talented musical entertainment every couple of weeks. The food here is superb! It's like having a restaurant in your home since you can eat anytime you want. The evening meals are like a Sunday dinner, always special & the desserts are to die for! There are many other activities I hope to do in time. It is so peaceful to sit in the lovely gardens. My only regret is that we didn't move here 10 years ago so we would have had more years to enjoy it!

I really do love living here at Turners Rock. I have only been here a few weeks, but everyone here has been so kind, patient and wonderful. I appreciate everything they have done for me. I just love my apartment. I would recommend this place to everyone. Leaving my home was very difficult, but I am so glad I made the decision to move to Turners Rock.

We loved Truewood! Hated to leave there. Everyone was super nice!! The place was clean as well. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

[Name removed] spent four hours with us when we toured the property and took the time to introduce [name removed] to everyone we met. By the end of the visit, he felt completely comfortable and ready to move in. The maintenance staff is also excellent, and both the maintenance person and the tech specialist have been very helpful and responsive.

It's a difficult situation to have to take your loved one from their independent living situation that they've fought for all their lives and put them into an assisted living facility like this. However, the people at Pine Rock Manor were awesome and really try hard to make it a good experience. An unfortunate reality of healthcare is that people can become desensitized to the ugly parts of their job as the years go on. That did not appear to be the case with these folks, the intentional care was very apparent, despite it all, and they go very much out of their way to show kindness to the residents and visitors like myself. Very impressed with this place!

[name removed] is safe and being taken care of. The staff is caring and kind. Dr. [name removed] has been very supportive and is looking out for [name removed]. There are lots of activities that are available and cover different areas of interest. She feels the food sometimes lacks spices.

[name removed] gave us a wonderful tour and took the time to get to know my father. She provided us with clear information and answered all of our questions. Very pleased with [name removed] and the structure of the entire community.

Very homey, clean and welcoming. Outside looks like a very nicely manacured house, inside sort of like a ski lodge. People I met were lovely and residents appeared well cared for and content.

I am writing this letter in reference to [name removed] and [name removed]. The care and friendship I have endured with them through my time here at Merill Gardens has been exceptional. They are courteous, attend to my needs, very helpful and always there if I need them. They always have a smile on their face and are willing to help. If I have a concern, they will address it with me and make every attempt to solve it in a timely manner. I would also like to say that [name removed] has been very patient with me and very helpful. She is an outstanding person and I appreciate all her help as well. In closing I would like to add that the team [name removed] has put together is outstanding. They are well qualified, helpful and thankful for them and [name removed]. I really appreciate each and every one of the Managers, Directors and staff.

My mother has recently moved into the memory care side of the Merrill Gardens building. The staff who take care of the people there are doing everything that they can to make her feel at home-they do a great job!

I have a loved one who recently moved into the Assisted Living section of the facility. We toured the facility at the recommendation of a family member, and were very impressed with the cleanliness of it and how friendly all the staff were. There are a lot of daily activities, he especially enjoys the workout facility and the twice weekly happy hour. Anyone needing care for themselves or a loved should definitely consider contacting Mission Ridge for a tour.

We are looking for a residence for our mother and the visit to Truwood was very pleasant and informative. The facilities and programs are very impressive. We also appreciated the information provided by our tour guide and more importantly, the clear communication regarding their pricing structure. Truwood is definitely a place to be considered and remains in the top three of those locations on our short list.

What a wonderful senior community for both independent seniors and seniors who need significant assistance. The staff at every level are warm and friendly and so very kind. The residents are also very welcoming and kind. One can feel the positive energy all around. Restaurant-style food is delicious and varied. Activities abundant. It almost feels like a cruise ship with a list of activities and outings along with great food and support. Most of all, our family has peace of mind that our parents are in a safe and nurturing environment.

The staff is very helpful and encouraging to make you feel comfortable and welcomed.
