Merrill Gardens

From the moment we walked in for our tour, we felt welcomed and at home. The atmosphere was like being with family. The care and attention she receives from her care givers and the Bridge Creek staff is wonderful. I know this because mom is so happy here!

wonderful place. staff was very helpful, beautiful clean rooms, and outside areas. too high cost for us, and no memory care room available yet, but will definitely want mom here if we can manage it.

I really do not have any criticisms of Willow Park. Mom thinks the world of the care givers. They respond quickly when buzzed and provide excellent care. The place is very nice and clean, and they are really on top of things. They have been wonderful.

They have been very welcoming and kind. They gave us a very clear tour and explanation of things when we were checking them out. They have been incredibly helpful. The entire experience with The Bedford has been really good and I would highly recommend them.

A really nice facility with everything you could want

My mother loves her apartment in this retirement/assisted living community. The nurses, dining staff, activities are wonderful. She knew from the moment she walked in this is where she wanted to be,

My Mom has loved being at The Bedford. She is treated with respect, courtesy, and affection. There are many programs and events to choose from, including cerebral, physical, and fun to keep an individual's interests active. She has made friends and met wonderful people here. The meals are always tasty and she enjoys that she isn't assigned to one seat at one table but can sit anywhere she likes with different people, or sit at a different table altogether when a family member visits. The Bedford is clean, friendly, accommodating, and is a perfect solution for her senior years.

It's very well kept. The staff is exceptionally friendly. It's a very nice place, its beautiful. The food has been very good. Everyone from the maintenance to the front desk have been very responsive. The activities help them really thrive. Sometimes trying to figure out the parking can be a little bit of challenge. I have even recommended a friend check this out for their parents.

They have been great so far. I really like Merrill Gardens on First Hill. The people have been really great there. We are really pleased.

My mother was a resident at the Legacy at Georgetown, and I can't say enough good things--they bent over backwards to keep her engaged and happy, the accommodations were consistently well maintained, meals were served beautifully and activities were well designed. Communication with us was excellent and medical staff was attentive. Staff was always helpful and cheery, and clearly loved what they were doing. It gave us tremendous peace of mind to know she was there. My thanks to all!

This is a nice place but my mom needed more care than we estimated, so they didn't have anyone on back shift to help at night when things got bad. I felt the staff that was there was fine and very helpful, but this definitely not a nursing home type place. We wanted mom in a nice place but didn't realize her health would decline as quickly as it did and they just weren't prepared for that type of resident.

We were very impressed with this facility. It was very clean with no unpleasant odors; the staff was friendly and very helpful; and the residents appeared to be happy and well cared for. There were groups visiting; playing cards; watching a movie and one resident was playing the piano. It was a very warm & welcoming environment.

They were very friendly and accommodating. I had two days to get my dad placed and we were able to get him in right away, and it just worked out perfect. I especially would like to give a shout of praise out to Dina who was extremely helpful.

Merrill Gardens Campbell would have been an ideal selection had there been a private room available. The facility, gardens and services were all new, clean and friendly.

Merrill Gardens at Santa Maria is a great place, I'd give them top marks across the board! The staff is fantastic, the food is good, and all of the people who live here are friendly. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and well kept, and they take great care of the residents. I'd highly recommend them!

They were very helpful and always available, since I live out of state, to help make sure mom is taken care of. Any time I had any questions they were quick to answer. Mom is in a much better mental state now since being at Merrill Gardens at Santa Maria. I am very thankful for them and would highly recommend them.

I can't say enough about this wonderful community. Moving to Florida from NY for my 89 year old mother was truly a life changing experience and a challenge. I waited 2 months to write this review so that I could accurately evaluate mom's happiness. Well to sum it up she tells everyone "I'm comfortable here" and I think that speaks volumes. There are numerous activities to participate in exercise ,crafts, movie nights and trips to theater,church and stores. Everyone from staff to residents is friendly and welcoming. The rooms and common areas are spacious, clean and renovations are always going on. Barkley Place is a excellent value, providing a home-like setting and most of all peace of mind for family members. There is wait-list for a good reason.

When searching for a home for our mother, where we knew she would be taken good care of, we weren't having much luck. That was the situation until we took a tour of The Pines of Newmarket. It has been approximately four years now and not only has our mother had the greatest care, her overall health and attitude improved. She is very happy there, has several friends and gets the best of care. We feel secure in knowing she is being well taken care of. The staff and caregivers are wonderful and keep us informed of her status whenever necessary. I would highly recommend the Pines to anyone looking for that perfect place.

My mother has been at the Pines for 5 years now. Her overall health was good when she moved in, and as expected has declined over the years. The Pines has offered her the ability to live a fullfilling and happy life throughout this entire period. They offer levels of activities and care that have fitted her needs and desires. Not too big, not too small - just right. We have seen a lot of staff over the years, and are very pleased with the sincere caring she gets. They do a good job of selecting staff. And the kitchen caters to the direct needs of each resident. Management reaches out to the family and is readily available. It is our intention to have our mother stay there for the remainder of her life. The Pines is now her home and is a wonderful place to live out her live.

Dina we can not thank you enough for all of your help getting our Father moved in so quickly. He is in great hands and is really enjoying being there.I would totally recommend to anyone needing an Assisted living residence to check you out. I'm so glad we did.Thanks again.
