Merrill Gardens

Courtyards at Berne Village is the right place for me. Everyone is welcoming & friend. It is much like a very large family that you have come home to. There are a number of activities & suggestions are always welcome. The grounds are beautiful. Personally, I love it here!

Everything is good. I don't have any concerns, I would rate them very highly. Everything is very clean, and the staff is friendly. The food is good. There really isn't anything that needs to be improved or done better.

We went to visit this community looking for a place to place my Mom. The Director was very nice and had a nice tour set for us. We were able to see the different types of rooms offered which were very nicely done up. They even have a pool here! They whole community was very well upkept and put together very nicely!

We have been very pleased with Legacy at Bear Creek in Keller. They have a good staff to client ratio and the staff is very caring and friendly both to clients and family. We have found that they seem to be very medically trained in the area of memory care. We are glad that we chose this community for our Mom.

I don't yet have enough experience with them on care services to rate them on this. I especially like the food. The food is amazing. We go and eat there with Mom, because the food is that good. The dining is open from 7 AM to 7 PM. The kitchen staff remember peoples' names, and do special things for them. My mother is in independent living but there are other levels of care in the building. The physical building is excellent. She has a high ceiling. The kitchen has grainte, and a view of the rose garden. You can't hear people upstairs. There are nice paintings on the walls. This is the best place we looked at, in several states. There are some gaps at the management level. For instance, there was a switch in cable service to the building. The cable TV was out in the building for a month. They kept giving people dates, like next week, that aren't real. Older people go nuts without TV. It wasn't well organized. The person who staffs the front desk isn't the most cooperative. Overall, for the money, this is the best.

Tour on Wednesday September 3 Received all important documents. Excellent community and staff. On my list for consideration. Visiting other recommended facilities over the next three months, will evaluate top three considerations.

So far they are doing pretty good. The staff is friendly, and it's well kept and clean. There haven't been any complaints about response time or attentiveness. My loved one doesn't really seem to participate in the activities, but there always seems to be something going on when I come to visit. No complaints about the food either, that seems fine. Things are going well.

My experience with Merrill Gardens at Renton Centre has been a very good one. They have been very easy to deal with, and I feel my mom has improved in the time she's been there. She's really enjoying the food, and starting to ease into the activities they offer. Overall she's happy, and I have already recommended Merrill Gardens to others. I rate them a 5 out of 5.

Full at present & no respite available. Fits her needs. Memory care fully isolated whereas Campbell integrated activities when appropriate. Also considering.

The staff has been friendly and attentive to my Mom. The facility is clean and modern in appearance. The staff encourages social activities and seeks to make the environment like home. The ratio of staff to clients make for a greater degree of care.

My mom moved into Merrill Gardens Tacoma last February and it has been wonderful for her. She loves the food and always says how nice everyone is. My sister and I have found nothing but helpfulness and friendliness from the staff. The facility itself is clean and cheerful. We looked at many places and this was the perfect place for her. She's been taking part in the activities they offer and the concierge has really helped her out many times with driving her to places she needs to get to during the week. Maybe it seems expensive because so much is bundled into the cost -- cable, cleaning, activities, meals -- but when you add up the perks you get, the safety and care and the excellent food choices with continuous service, it is well worth the cost. Our family is extremely grateful to the staff and especially to Linda who patiently helped us move mom in.

After exploring 5 different independent living communities in the Ft. Myers area, my mom immediately without hesitation chose Barkley. The staff is exceptional...professional, friendly and like family! While some of the other communities were a bit more "plush" in their decor, Barkley was by far the clear winner when it came to a place for my mom to call home. The Barkley staff knows everyone by name and they go out of their way to accommodate families and residents. My mom is extremely happy in her lovely one bedroom apartment (with her cat) and says she wishes that she had moved in sooner!

This was my number one pick. We ended up going with a new facility that had just recently opened. This location was just a little busier, and not as serene as the one we chose. I had also arranged to have a meal there when I came for my tour. When I got there, they didn't have a meal for me. The marketing team had some miscommunication.

This is my mom's first week so it's too soon to tell, but she said she's beginning to like it here because of how friendly everyone is!

We were extremely pleased over our visit to Merrill Gardens at the University. You folks earn a five-star rating from Edie and Jim [removed]. We're not yet residents, but we are very much comforted to know that Merrill Gardens at the University is there waiting for us when the time comes, which may not be that far off in the future. We will be return to Seattle in late August and hope to have the opportunity to stop by again. Be sure and say hello for us to Pete and Ruth. We fell in love with their garden apartment. Cheers!

this was a great place, have been there twice and both times was very great the staff and Tanya , Greg were very very hospital, they went out of there way to show me around the meal were very good and dinning staff were very friendly. as soon as I can get some things taken care of, I will be moving in

They are very clean, the staff was great too. In comparison to other places we saw the pricing was competitive. The food was good. Everything was pretty good, and straightforward too, it was really good.

My loved one can be easy to overlook, because some of his needs are not as immediately urgent as others, but he still needs quite a bit of assistance. It's a really nice place, and he really likes it there. He loves the food, and they have a nice selection. They also have a window of time that each meal is available, which is nicer than a rigid mealtime. We chose them because they had different steps, and ways to accommodate if there was an incident. They have a program that sort of bridges the gap between assisted living and memory care.

My mother truly enjoyed her time at Merrill Gardens. The staff was wonderful and accommodated her quirky ways. The other residents were friendly and welcoming and the activities were creative and fun. My brothers and I couldn't have asked for a better place for our mother.

Legacy at Bear Creek has been a good place so far, I'd give them 5s across the board. It's a very nice, very pleasant environment. The staff are friendly, helpful, and they really seem to be happy and enjoy their jobs. The care and amenities they provide to the residents all seem very nice.
