Merrill Gardens

Merrill Gardens is a beautiful facility in a great location. The staff members are so friendly, and everything here is just above and beyond. Our chef is amazing they never cook the same food its beyond delicious. Right now the activities are shut down due to covid but when we do have activities they are awesome, we have some wonderful social directors. I have a pent house here - two bedroom, with an extra room and I just love it

They have said nothing but glowing things about the staff. The apartment was turned over from someone who moved out and they did a fantastic job of getting that all ready for them as well. They are very easy to work with and great with communication. I have overall been very pleased and my parents are happy here.

I love the way the community is decorated, it is so bright and cheerful. The food here is amazing, I love the food. The people who work here are so helpful. On the day we had the big snow and some of the staff couldn't make it in, the mangers and maintenance team was out serving meals to the residents in the dining hall.

My husband and I have been living at Merrill Gardens for six months so far and look forward to many more. The staff is competent and caring; the residents are friendly and engage with each other in the various activities made available by the staff. The food is delicious and attractively presented. Our apartments are comfortable and cleaned regularly. When we have appointments outside of Merrill Gardens, rides are provided. I would compare life at Merrill Gardens to living at a beautiful resort. We are grateful to have such a lovely place available to us at this stage of our lives.

I am getting great feedback from my mom about Merrill Gardens. She absolutely loves the food and raves about it, the meals are chef prepared. It is month to month so you are not stuck in a long contract. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

We had an amazing tour with the Ackerly and thought it was a great facility, it just came down to the location for us.

She helped us better understand how to navigate the complex world of finding the best-fit assisted living facility for my mom. We will add this facility to the top of our list. Thank you!

They were very caring, everyone there. They truly cared about the people who lived there. The building was very nice and clean, which is one of the main reasons we put her there. It didn't feel like a facility. It felt like a home.

They have several activities for the residents and try to get the residents engaged in the activities available. From the very first contact they truly showed they cared and have continued to show this caring aspect. All the staff make it work. It is a community I would highly recommend to others. The staff call you back if you have questions or concerns over your loved one. They are pet friendly. There is no odor to the community.

The community is very lovely, they have nice quality furniture throughout and very nice art work. Nothing is cheap or cheesy - for example they have real flowers and not plastic ones. There are plenty of activities to participate in, and even though it is a little expensive it is worth it and we would recommend to others.

Our loved one absolutely loves it there, she says the food is good and has a nice variety. She is really enjoying the activities especially when they take trips. The staff members are super nice and a big deal for us and her is that on the weekends family members can stay over night and visit.

I have been here six months and am pleased with the facility and staff. The house keepers and dining servers are excellent and hard workers. My apartment is comfortable and I am happy with it. I appreciate the work [name removed] did in the apts so I could put the best me for me. I have made many great friends in this facility.

The staff has really helped with my adjustment. Their hard work really pays off!!!

We like that it is a newer facility and even though it is independent living here is accountability there with the staff to check on our loved one. They have an automated system so if the residents don't push a button by a certain time in the morning the staff come to check on them. Also our loved one was able to get an ADA apartment that is well suitable for her needs.

This place is awesome!

It is never easy to make the de4cision to place your parents in an Assisted Living. But it is comforting to know my parents are being cared for by people who care about them provide the best care in clean and attractive surrounding.
