Merrill Gardens

Good community, too far from family.

The staff are the best part of the community. They are very responsive to questions or concerns that the family may have.. My loved one enjoys the food. The activities are restricted due to the pandemic.

I would recommend Merrill Gardens at Glen Mills to others for their loved ones. The staff that I worked with in the beginning were very nice and accommodated my loved one's request when moving in. They have a lot of activities for the residents to participate in.

This community was nice but only had 9 rooms and 9 beds. It was not enough space for my loved one.

We chose Merrill Gardens because they had available space at the time we needed it and also I could see it was very clean, it smelled good, and all of the staff who helped us were extremely friendly and helpful. We really appreciated how upfront and honest they were with us. They have different tiers of care, they have independent living, assisted living, as well as memory care. So as needs change, you are able to increase the amount of help you are getting without having to move. I would recommend to others who are looking.

Merrill Gardens at Rolling Hills gets 5 out of 5 stars. The facility is impeccable. It seems expensive, but for what you get I don't think you can beat it. It was neck and neck between this facility and the one that we ended up choosing, but it just came down to the location. My mother in law may have to go into assisted living soon and this will be where she goes because it is closer to her. It is just amazing.

I had a very good tour at Merrill Gardens at Madison. The tour person was informative and showed me all around the facility. The residents I saw seemed very happy. Based on my visit, the looks of the facility, and the activities they offer, I thought it was a very nice place - just very expensive.

This community was sufficient and equal but the set up and the staff of another community caught my attention more.

This is a great senior living facility for your loved one. You are getting so much more than the other communities. They have activities like a gym, games, movie nights, board games, entertainment and more for the residents to do to stay busy.

They have friendly staff who are nice and care for the residents. It is worth the money and drive for us. The meals look good. The staff are good about communicating with you about your loved one and answer any questions you may.

We are very happy with Merrill Gardens. It is not a depressing environment, it is more bright and cheery. We have had other experiences with facilities where it is depressing right when you walk in the door. When we walk in the door here, there is a lot of things happening and just feels more positive. I would recommend to other families.

Our tour with Merrill Gardens was excellent. It just came down to the location and cost.

This community has really helped our loved one improve in all areas, everybody has been so wonderful. The administrator when we first were going through the assessment process was very attentive and accommodating. The activities director does an amazing job during the tough times of covid they would take pictures of the resident to send to their loved ones so they could see what is going on.

I would tell others to go visit this community. This is the place to place your loved one. The pricing is right, and the community is in great shape. There are games, trips around town, shopping, and more as some of the activities available for the residents to choose from.

We've only been here three months, but I am extremely satisfied with everything. The staff are wonderful. Everybody knows our name, and they are always smiling. Our apartment has a nice patio and two bedrooms, which is more than adequate for us. I'm very glad we're here!

Our family had an in person tour we loved this community it was a great tour. Right when you walk in you can feel the energy, its such an interactive atmosphere.

One of the main issues we have had is the doctor [name removed] is very not attentive to texts from families. When he was going down to eat, the meals were great and he had no complaints. I think it is a great value for the money, they take care of his medications, the nurses listen to what he needs, and he's got his own apartment. What I would like to see happen is for there to be some very clear communication between the bus driver, the family, and the resident that says this is who and how you call to get a ride somewhere. That is something that was not clearly communicated to us from t he beginning, so we have been taking him to his appointments and I think that would be very helpful.

They really make everyone feel like one big family. The staff look out for the residents and go above and beyond to form relationships with them, they genuinely care. I would highly recommend Merrill Gardens to others looking.

The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. The food has really gone downhill in the last few months I think due to staffing shortages, but in the beginning it was great. I really have had no issues and would recommend Merrill Gardens to others.

The tour guides were awesome. The other community that we went to seemed to be interacting more with the community. It was a nice and clean community there was just another community that stood out more.
