Merrill Gardens

Merrill Gardens at Rancho Cucamonga was a great facility with receptive staff that were attentive and welcoming toward us from the start. All administrative needs were communicated well beforehand.

We had a great tour experience with Truewood by Merrill, Boise. It was a very nice place and everyone that we met with was super friendly. The main reason we did not choose this facility was just because it had quite a bit of state complaints and that made us nervous.

I enjoyed the tour of the community. The only drawback was that my family wanted me to be closer to them to be able to visit more. This is the reason I choose another community.

We had a lovey experience at Merrill Gardens at Gilroy. All of the staff make you feel welcome immediately. And the residents are friendly and welcoming as well.

My dad is a resident at Merrill Gardens at Renton Centre. The staff are so very personable and caring! The housekeeping terrific. My Dad has laundry service, which he loves. Great food, the quality and variety is wonderful. Communication is great with family. My Dad is in good hands! He's very happy there. I would recommend this facility to others.

Well they treated us great. Always friendly and the dining room was like being on a cruise. One member of the staff stood out, her name is [name removed]. This lady bent over backwards to help my Mom get settled in there and took care of everything.

My family and loved one had a great experience with the community. The staff are very nice and caring towards the residents and families. Everyone is very friendly. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

I am very happy with MG for my dad. The staff, services and it is located next to Brandywine Airport. My dad had a private pilot license. His room overlooks the runway. He enjoys watching the planes take off and land.The general manager is wonderful! I would recommend to others.

We had some mess up with medications but that has all been resolved. The food is delicious, but the ingredients used have too much salt in them. Chef does not add salt, but it is creating swelling in mom's feet. I understand there are other residents that have asked for some changes in this area as well. The activities seem creative although my mom has not been able to participate. I am very happy as is my mother with our decision. She feels safe and well cared for. I would recommend the facility. It is a very friendly environment and staff are always smiling and asking how they can help.

We were very impressed with Holden's attention to detail. The room layouts, shower design, and alert buttons all seemed designed for maximum safety and comfort.

The staff make it a priority to know your name right away. When I walk around with my dad, they all say hi with his name. It makes him feel like at home. Some of the communication hasn't been as clear, but since my dad had previous experience at a similar place he knew what to ask. The housekeeping has been great and they have set up a nice schedule. My dad got the extra laundry for $[name removed] per month where they do his personal laundry each week. He loves the food. I have eaten there a few times with him and it's been good each time. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Each category gets 5/5 stars, Merrill Gardens at Willow Glen has been outstanding. They are always in contact with me anytime my mother needs to call or if she is ill. I would let others know that getting on the medi-care anthem for in care is what they would need for in doctor patient care with no monthly premium or co-payments. I very highly recommend this facility to others. They have made a very difficult transition a lot easier for my family and especially my mother.

The staff at Merrill Gardens West Chester are kind. The facility is clean. They offer lots of activities. It's not like a typical personal care home.

Mom loves Turners Rock and they are providing a great service. Everyone there is kind, the facility is not so large that it requires mom to walk a lot. They have called us by name from the start. Lots of activities to include church, really good food, the decor is exceptional. I would recommend to other families.

My family and loved one have had a wonderful experience with the community. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and friendly. The staff are great to work with. The community is beautiful. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

My husband and I recently toured, looking for a place for his mom. We loved the location because it’s close to everything! When we walked in the doors we were met with a huge open, high end hotel feel. Huge windows with tons of natural light and modern fixtures and architecture! The sales lady was sharp and personable and spent a lot of time finding out about my mother in laws needs and what was important to us. She took us all over the gorgeous community and the people that lived there greeted us and seemed so friendly and happy. We enjoyed an unexpected invitation for lunch and it was so good. They had choices! Unfortunately they were full with a waiting list and we needed something immediately so we had to move on. They need more apartments!!

My dad has been very happy at Merrill Gardens at Columbia so far. The food served is great! He does say that he would like a church service or transportation to a local church on Sundays if possible. I would recommend this facility to others who are looking.

Everyone was very caring and knowledgeable. [name removed] in memory care was fantastic. Oh my mother was in the hospital. She was a big help to me.

My mother in law really enjoyed living at Merrill Gardens at Solivita Marketplace. The food was good, and she was well taken care of. She enjoyed the activities as well.

I feel they deliver on the amenities listed above, so a 5 star on all numbered above except for the value. Their point system for care I feel is way out of line. They seem to covertly force types of care my aunt doesn't need. We are [name removed] over what we planned on spending monthly. I've had her re-evaluated once to take off certain services she doesn't need, like escort to meals, waking her up, getting out of bed. My Aunt now does not use any of the other services they offer except meals and medication dispensing.
