Merrill Gardens

My loved one was a resident at Merrill Gardens at Rolling Hills Estates in Memory Care. The staff on the Memory Care floor were exceptional! Everything about the experience was great. I do have one suggestion: that the office staff be more knowledgeable about the tiers of service and how much things cost/how they are calculated.

Merrill gardens and the staff at Willow Glen are the perfect fit for my mother and I'm very satisfied.

The place is great! We are so grateful for Merrill Gardens at West Chester. It's absolutely the best place for my father. The staff and GM are unbelievable, attuned to my Father's Day, his comings and goings and are so kind. I was looking for a facility where he could age in place and we found it. I enthusiastically recommend it but most importantly the biggest critic, my dad, gives MG a big thumbs up. Before MG my father was at a huge senior community which no longer worked for him. I wish I would have known about MG earlier. If you're looking for a senior living place for a loved one, make sure you visit Merrill Gardens at West Chester.

I would recommend this facility to others. Friendly and attentive staff. Move in smooth. Keep in touch with family. Food good, but not gourmet. But can order whatever they want. Plus can pre order and eat in room. Always clean. Hubby bed made daily and helps with shower. Laundry done. Pub parties often and fun. I join often. Nurses come often to room and redress wounds. Lots of daily activities. They just had rate increase, but still less than most other places I have seen.

We like the overall feel of the facility; it's very nice yet still has a welcoming/ relaxed atmosphere. Service & staff are very friendly & attentive.

My mother, [name removed], has been a resident of the pines for over 2 years. I have always been very pleased with the care she has received. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Unfortunately, my father-in-law passed shortly after we moved him into the community, so our overall experience was somewhat limited. That said, it seemed like a great place. The staff was awesome, especially under difficult circumstances. I wish he had had more time there

It is with great pleasure I tell you how pleased I am with the excellent care my boyfriend's mother is given at The Pines of Newmarket. During the several times I have accompanied him there to visit his mother, I have seen the loving, compassionate care she consistently receives from the outstanding caregivers employed there as well as from management personnel. The thing I love best about the Pines is that the care being provided is genuine and never rings a false note. I would recommend the Pines to anyone looking for an excellent place for a loved one.

My mother has been at The Pines of Newmarket for 2-1/2 years. From the beginning, I knew it was the right place for her. The nursing and care staff all take the time to get to know her, they know what she likes, or doesn't like, and they respect her preferences. If she doesn't like what's on the menu, they provide something else. [names removed] of the administration are always pleasant and ready to help the family with any needs. The nursing and care staff are very kind to Mom and the family. [names removed] and others whose names I'm unsure of, usually stop to speak to Mom and the family. The facility is clean and well-maintained. There are bulletin boards with information about the day, and upcoming activities. We arrive to visit mid-morning, and there is always something going on such as live music, a game of Bingo, reading aloud about history or current events, or a craft activity. I highly recommend The Pines of Newmarket to anyone in need of care.

The place for Mom helped me execute the tour visit at the facility of The Pines of New Market by setting up everything that was needed to visit and tour . [name removed] prepped us with information on what to see and ask about the facility.It gives the family more confidence when your informed of your surroundings.Price factors ,cleanliness and care was always number one factors to consider.[name removed] had those answers and as we toured we confirmed that [name removed] picked out a great facility for our love one to live at the Pines of New market.

They are very attentive to [name removed] needs. [name removed] is in a reclining wheelchair and I appreciate the caregivers getting down to [name removed] eye level to speak directly to her. In addition staff engages [name removed] to get involved in activities such as exercise and mobility. [name removed] enjoys the attention she receives at The Pines.

WE chose Merrill Gardens because it was close to our new home and they had vacancies. My loved ones are safe at Merrill Gardens. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the residents.

I found the staff friendly and very accommodating to my friend. They always acknowledge her by name, which made her feel at home. The moving process was smooth and easy. The meals are okay, but not terrific. I would definitely recommend this facility.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They are willing to help you with anything you need. Rooms sizes are adequate. Amenities offered are great.

I would say it very homey and the people and staff there are very friendly. The residents seem pretty happy. Obviously every place has its issues, but my mom is safe and happy.I picked it because some of the other places that I visited were either depressing or felt very sterile ( like a hotel). This one really has a more homey feel.
