My loved one is currently a resident at Merrill Gardens at Wright Park and the overall experience has been great. I have found most of the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The cleanliness and friendliness is great.

my experience here connects me with my past as a young mother. Our children's first set of encyclopedias, materialism speaker. Stayed in Alaska, consumer compliment section every experience has helped me to like it here and grow and smile!

Mom is very happy with her decision to live at Merrill Gardens. She feels well taken care of and everyone, the residents and staff are welcoming and friendly. It is a nice size, large enough to have good activities but not so many people that a person can't get to know or at least recognize most of the other residents.

We've had nothing but a good experience. Very clean, kind staff that's very caring and good food. Lots of good activities and excursions.

I don't think I'd recommend it to others. Food is a big deal. My sisters won't eat there so that's not good. I eat there because I'm not as picky.

The staff at Merrill Gardens at Gilroy was very easy to get along with during the whole process of my Mom moving in to her apartment. They continue to be very kind and helpful, remembering her name, daily paper, meal favorites, medicine administration and greeting her family. I would definitely recommend Merrill Gardens at Gilroy to others.

I would recommend Truewood to any and everyone. They have a true heart and caring for what they do. They demonstrate their caring through empathy and an understanding of what their residences are going through. I really value their sincerity. For that staff, it wasn't just a job.

Exemplary community! The environment and well being of the residents is an obvious top priority!The personnel is extremely friendly and helpful, as are each and every resident. Workers as well as residents all speak very highly of Truewood. The community always looks, smells, and is kept very clean. There are multiple activities daily for residents to engage in, should they choose to participate. Games, exercise classes, crafts, singalongs, group outings, all intended to build relationships, and stimulate minds & bodies. Often times there are "special monthly events" which are spectacular - enjoyed equally by employees as well as residents. From the top management, to director, housekeeping, maintenance staff, front desk receptionists, activities director, and salon stylist, all are professional, very responsive, caring, and compassionate. It is a real sense of family at Truewood, a genuine, loving, caring community where residents thrive!

I appreciated all of the help and kindness everyone blessed us with during this difficult time in my sister's life. I would definitely recommend Merrill Gardens at Barkley Place to anyone looking for a loving ,warm, friendly home away from home.

This community is caring and offers all the services needed in assisted living. The staff truly cares & know everyone's name!! The restaurant style dining (all day, 7am - 7pm), is fabulous!

Our family would definitely recommend Truewood by Merrill Georgetown-because it is a smaller facility and it has a family feel. The common areas are bright and inviting and the dining hall has the feel of a nicer restaurant. The staff treats each resident with dignity and every day there are a variety of activities to participate in. My Dad has had several medical emergencies and the staff was in constant communication with us and extremely helpful.

First the reception and greetings received as we were joining the community was great. We are very pleased with our decision. The facility is brand new with modern kitchen appliances including the washer/dryer combination in the apartment. Staff has been very helpful as we settled in after moving. We found the food and service to be of high standards. The variety of entrees and desserts are extensive and the everyday fining menu provides a variety of choices. Rooms are quiet and the HVAC works well and provides consistent comfort. The atmosphere is very peaceful with a feeling of relaxation. A variety of activities are available that permits a blending of the neighborhood based on personal interests. Quality cable tv and Wi-Fi are provided and provides great entertainment. The Independent Living is truly independent and encourages a feeling of neighborhood.

After exploring numerous retirement communities, Truewood stood out as the most welcoming and affordable option in Seattle. [name removed] exceptional dedication shines through her ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with residents, support staff members, and offer valuable insights during tours. Her warmth and expertise instilled in me the assurance that my grandmother would receive top-notch care and comfort at Truewood. I wholeheartedly endorse Truewood by Merrill, First Hill to anyone seeking a supportive community for themselves or a loved one.

I moved my sister and husband there. The signup and move in activities went smoothly. Helpful all around, including maintenance staff in connecting Internet and TV. At first dinner a couple of residents volunteered they had moved from another residence and were much happier.

Staff is very friendly and care a lot about the residence. My mother fits in well there as everyone is friendly. The value is rated a 4 due to the 8% increase on the first year anniversary, that was harsh.

I had a great experience with Merrill Gardens before my dad decided to move he was in two places that weren’t mentally healthy or social. He loved the atmosphere and people off the bat. There are still many things yet to come with Merrill Gardens and the area surrounding it. I love the grounds and their historical background. The people there are wonderful, although I do know seniors can get a bit grumpy. To be honest if I could move in today at 40 I definitely would but I have to wait another dang 22 years and hopefully Merrill Gardens being a family owed and operated and focused they will still be great when I come of age.

It's all about the leadership. Shane runs the place and he is so full of love for everyone, residents, staff and families. It's rare to fine someone this gentle, caring, and thoughtful. That transcends your all the staff, who work hard, sometimes to exhaustion, to help one another and the residents. I've never seen or heard an unkind or thoughtless word or deed. I can only hope to find such a place when it's my time to choose.
