Everything is working out pretty well so far. Staff is doing a good job and are very friendly.

Staff provides excellent service. They are very accommodating to the family. Activities are well planned and all can participate, including family members. I highly recommend the facility.

Facility is so nice, clean, staff is great, food is good, move in was great no issues. I would recommend it to others. It's a great place, my dad is so happy living there!

We have a real chef with nutritious meals. At Atria (since changed name but not staff), the dining director often served food with high salt content. When we talked to her about it, [name removed] answered that "some people like it that way". After several trips to ER at Sentara Hospital with excessively high blood pressure, the head doctor of ER told me that this residence has a reputation for this problem. Also, vegetables were often boiled, soggy and not good quality or quantity. As a result, my diastolic pressure was often near 90 and above. Stomach problems from diarrhea to the point of black liquid. I eat some dessert each day, but carefully. I weigh exactly as directed by my doctor. Since I moved to Truewood, I do not have stomach or BP problems as I did before. [name removed], director of Activities, is excellent. However, because of space and advice of her supervisor, celebrations of birthdays and holidays are held in a small room with everyone seated around a table, served a treat and beverage just talking, no music or fun. Here at Truewood, every area is decorated for events, music, dancing and FUN for Christmas and New Year's. I can't wait till Valentine's Day.

Our experience was excellent and continues to be so. [name removed] loves her apartment and the area is very convenient. I would recommend Merrill Gardens to anyone. It's beautiful and didn't feel like you would think of a place with assisted living to look. Also, the sky lounge is stunning.

I am currently a resident at Truewood by Merrill Riverchase and I have no problems with anything. I would recommend this facility to others.

We chose Merrill Gardens at Barkley Place because of the location and my mother liked the facility best. The staff are very friendly and engaging. New tenant orientation is very good and welcoming. Meals/food is excellent.

When I arrived here at MGWP 5 months ago, I started to smile. The location, the inviting atmosphere, the friendly staff. It all felt right and it still does! The friendly staff keep me safe and attend to all of my needs. The comfortable dining room serves the best from-scratch soup in town along with tasty, varied entrees and desserts like my Grandma used to make. The lobby lounges, terraces, game and activity room flank the theater and gym. Parties fill the Sky Lounge and regularly spill out onto the panoramic Rooftop Deck! Meanwhile, the activities team fill the calendar with extraordinary outings as well as great events inside our beautiful community. This is the place for ME!

Staff have been very welcoming and friendly, including them all knowing her name immediately. We celebrated mom's 80th birthday a month after she moved in and they went out of their way to set up a room for the celebration. The majority of the other residents have also been very friendly and my mom has made friends already. In regards to the facility, although a little older, it is well maintained, clean and maintenance has responded quickly to any requests made.

I moved my mom into the Ackerly and the experience was very positive. [name removed] was the salesperson who we worked with and he was professional, personable, knowledgeable and caring. He provided valuable guidance whether the topic was room type and availability, cost planning, move-in logistics, onsite services and activities, or facility attributes. He even had insight into the social life at The Ackerly. And he did it all with a pleasant manner. He helped make my mom feel welcome and he was very responsive and a good resource even after the move-in. He obviously cares about people and likes doing his job. I highly recommend him.

My mom really appreciates and likes the staff. Housekeeping was a hit or miss at the beginning due to staff illness and ice storm, but now is consistent. The move in process was better than we could have expected . Food is good, but depends on my mom's preference. The breakfast meal time is too early for her so she tends to skip breakfast. I would definitely recommend this facility.

My mom was previously a resident at Truewood by Merrill Boise and they were great. I only moved my mom to different city to be closer to me. She misses them.

After a thorough research of Senior Communities from Gig Harbor to Tacoma, I found Merrill Gardens @ Wright Park to be the most Amazing place to live. For us, living here is like being on a five star vacation. There are daily activities, a variety of on and off campus events for all residents that wish to participate. We have a beautiful theatre where there are movies every night, special interest talks, etc. Food is available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The menu's are carefully planned and prepared for anyone's palet to enjoy. The entire Merrill Gardens staff are the best!! I can't think of a better place to live

My Dad was reluctant to move into assisted living. Just after a few weeks, he was dining with new friends, and participating in new activities. The community is clean and neat, and the staff is top notch! Dad loves it there and this is his home. What a special treat to spend time on the 5th floor - 360 views of the entire valley. Everyone is very kind. You could pay more to live somewhere else, but why? everything is here!

Its bright and cheerfull and the staff is very friendly and caring. I liked the informality of it. These ate why I chose Merrill Gardens.

Staff are great, very friendly and helpful. Always ready to answer any questions. Housekeeping staff are diligent and honest. The move in was easy and very accessible. The meals are always excellent. I have recommended this facility to family and friends.

My loved one is a resident at Pine Rock Manor. Right now, my impression is that it's a very laid back place that feels like home. The weekday nursing staff seem very caring, as is the nursing director. The weekend staff isn't as consistent. I would, as of now, recommend the facility strongly. It is clean, comfortable, and my loved one is happy with the meals.

They were all so very helpful. No complaints at all. I wouldn't hesitate to make a referral. It just wasn't a good time for my mom who made the decision., she was only there for about 30 days. It was great proximity to us and very clean. We didn't look at any others.

Overall, Pine Rock Manor has been great for my loved one. He doesn't participate in the activities, but does enjoy their music concerts. I would definitely recommend Pine Rock Manor to others based on the caring attitude of the staff.
