I have a friend that lives at Legend at Council Road. Everytime i visit, the residents are doing something fun! The staff are always very friendly, and I feel they care for the residents as their own family.

This was the best choice my partner and I made. We were tired of maintaining our home, worrying about the grounds, cooking and cleaning. As we are getting a little older we both have noticed it’s getting harder for us to manage. At azalea we can live a worry free life and make memories with each other and our new neighbors. My partner and I say all the time; we are on a cruise ship that is always docked!

If you are looking for a community that offers quality care, I strongly suggest checking out Azalea. I promise you will not be disappointed. My mother has been a resident for almost a year now. She came in weaker, as she was recovering from a broken hip. However with her motivation and Azalea’s amazing care she is a spring chicken again!

Beautiful facility. The care and dedication to the residents is top notch. The employees take wonderful care of my mother and keep me updated on how she's doing. Any concerns are always addressed immediately. We feel blessed my mother can live there.

My mom is now in memory care, and it’s been the best decision we could have made. Navigating the senior living industry can be overwhelming, but [name removed] from the sales team truly made a difference—he welcomed us with open arms and consistently reassured us that we were making the right choice. The care has been exceptional! Even though we live in DC, the nurses keep me informed about everything and always reach out before taking any action. Most importantly, they take the time to share updates on how mom’s day is going, which means the world to me.

My mother-in-law has been staying with Azalea and her daughter for about four months now, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see her thriving again! Before this, her social life had all but disappeared after she stopped driving. Now, she’s able to participate in all the outings Azalea offers—shopping trips, visits to the theatre, the aquarium, and even the casino. The holidays can be tough for anyone, but knowing she’s safe, happy, and surrounded by joy is truly the greatest gift we could all ask for.

Legend at Rivendell memory care is a beautiful community. [name removed] was extremely helpful and understood how hard this decision was for me. Sad to say it just wasn’t the place for us. The distance from mom was just a little further than we wanted. I would recommend this facility though.

Many very caring and moving individuals happy to help a loved one. Very good care and willing to assist to meet a clients needs. Friendly. Helpful. Loving. They offer numerous activities for every level of client. Nice menu offerings for meals. Very clean facility. Many activities offered to include families. Very accommodating.

The facility is very nice with wide hallways and lots of community spaces. The rooms are well equipped with a fridge and microwave. Add in cable TV and a dining hall with enjoyable food and my dad is set. There are plenty of activities if my dad chooses to participate and he can get primary care, a haircut, and see a podiatrist onsite - so convenient! The facility is clean and the staff are reliable. Our family is glad that A Place for Mom recommended The Gables of Tallahassee.

We couldn’t be more pleased with everything at Azalea! This review is long overdue, as my mother has been living there for nearly a year. The care is exceptional, and the staff is incredibly friendly. On my mom’s first day, the Director of Nursing, [name removed], took the time to spend two hours with us, ensuring we were comfortable and that every detail was thoroughly explained. The food and activities are outstanding – truly beyond expectations!

I moved from another state to live near my son's family due to the birth of my first granddaughter. This was a huge change. Retired and left friends and family. The staff at Anthology KOP were and are very friendly and welcoming. I have been here for just two months. Trying to make my apartment my new home. Other residents have been friendly and welcoming.

My Mom simply wanted to be in her own home. The Windsor could not compete with that. She has few if any physical limitations and same for emotional. It provided a safe haven for her kids (myself included), knowing she was receiving her meals and a safe nurturing environment. However, the nurturing was not enough. She found it hard to engage w strangers, has hearing limitations even w hearing aids. It was clear to us that she wanted to be in her own home. We have nothing but positive comments on the Windsor. She thought the food could be improved, though I ate there several times and thought it was fine! It was an effort to get her to engage in activities! It’s just not in her nature. Thank you for caring for her these past 3 months.

We chose this facility because of the location. ratings and cost. The staff have been very responsive to family. One challenge has been coordinating medication management with the facility's doctor who makes changes that aren't always aligned with her community based specialists assessments and not in her best interest.

From the first time we walked in, the facility was first rate, everyone we talked to was friendly and knowledgeable. We could see the interaction with the residents was excellent. Everyone there was extremely helpful and answered every question and concern we had.

My initial experience with Apple Blossom was good . They were very attentive, listened to my concerns and needs first my relative. The aides and attendants are pleasant and helpful. If there is something my relative needs they call and let me know. They also extend kindness as well as assisting my relative with her needs. The administration staff is not so good at returning my calls. I have to call several times and be lucky to catch one of them to discuss my concerns/questions. One thing that I was not happy with was having to move my relative my self from one floor to the other. Luckily, an aide retrieved a dolly for me to move the furniture myself. I didn't mind moving personal items but I thought the few pieces of furniture should have been moved for me. Apple Blossom was very good in getting furniture moved into the first room but couldn't move it to another room!

They have been really good with my dad in memory care and based on the experience we have had, we would recommend Legend of McKinney to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

Facility did have some design or construction flaws, so we have had a good bit of unexpected maintenance for such a new facility. Still, it is a lovely building. Staffing has had fairly high turnover, especially in food service. Better now than during COVID.

We were so lucky to find Gables and they put a lot of work into assessing our friend before accepting and making her successful there. Head nurse Angela really takes her job seriously. Menus looked good but I did not eat there but once. Quality of care very good. Because of my friends' additional needs they suggested and referred us to a companion service for her and that was also very good. We had the hurricane come through and Gables' response was amazing . STAFF AND SENIOR STAFF stayed in house 24 hours to care for the residents. Our Companion also stayed over. She was not well enough to participate outside room except for meals. STAFF took her down for every meal until she needed to be fed in her room [name removed] was placed on Hospice and remained in Gables with the extra hospice oversight until it was time to transfer to Big Bend Hospice House for medications not usable in an outpatient setting We are so pleased with her care all the way from pre-admission to final Hospice care. A Place for Mom was a marvelous help in finding the best way to help our friend.

The staff was friendly and there were good amenities. They also have two community pets on site, this was important to us because [name removed] has a dog but the dog wasn't going to be able to follow him into the home because he could not take care of it himself.
