If you dislike your parent, then send them here. Legend will ignore your parent, not serve an appetizing meal nor will they clean your apartment. Activities are not offered in memory care. Legend is always short staffed. Management and corporate will not help. Please stay far from here. Look elsewhere. 5 star reviews are from employees. I had a parent that was neglected here. Much happier since I moved him out.

My husband was at regret park for three months and they absolutely the worst place to have someone unfortunately my husband passed last week and the funeral home had his last name spelled wrong it took me a day and a half to find him I tried to call to check on him could not get one in anyone to answer the phone when I been fighting to do FaceTime and I can't give me excuse after excuse after excuse this place is absolutely the worst place to have a loved one the new director's been there 2 weeks and had no clue where they send patients a pass I had to tell him the corner's office

I'm an [age removed] woman with dementia, and I do not like living at River Oaks. They drag me out of bed at 6am from a sound sleep, even though I desperately need to rest. My motor skills and continence started declining after only ten days at this facility, and after 30 days I was found unresponsive, unable to speak or sit up. The staff did nothing about this, but my daughter was able to hydrate me and keep me out of the hospital that time. We met with Regional-Level directors about the poor care I was getting, but a month later, I was again dehydrated, potassium-depleted, sleep-deprived and unresponsive. I spent my longest stay in the hospital yet, and then have to go to rehab for a couple of weeks because my health has been so compromised. All of this could have been avoided if I were only under a beneficial wellness plan of rest and a balanced diet. Do not trust River Oaks with your well-being. They do not care.

I can't rate Activities. I was never made aware of any & my loved one didn't mention any. The director was friendly on phone & would promise to get my loved one on the cleaning & shower schedule, but never did what promised. The facilities are nice but staff did not provide care & services I was extra for. Facilities is nice but not the place for someone who needs extra services (medication, showering). I realize hard to hire staff so should not take people who aren't completely self sufficient.

Unfortunately., they cannot keep staff as my assumption is they don’t pay enough and whe.n employees leave shock is frequently then other staff have to do two jobs When the ‘schmoozer’ who will not be named brings on new families and their loved ones in to sell them the place they get temporary staff for the dining area for the ‘free’ lunch The food is not nutritious or fresh and the good folks who do work with the residents work very hard One resident fir laundry returned to her room at midnight I will try and reach corporate Legacy CEOs As I am sure those fat cats are racking in the big bucks

I would not waste your money by putting your loved one here. You would be putting your loved one in danger, by placing them in this community. The direct staff such as the nurses always referred requests made by the family to the home health aides. The technicians would tell the family or the resident to report problem. There was a time that my loved one's bedding hadn't been changed for three weeks, and this needed to be reported according to the technician. The community ended up admitting that it had been over a month since cleaning my loved one's room, through an email to the family. The price was increased by 15% for the monthly fee for the residents. The community didn't want to refund money due to not caring for my loved one after moving my loved one out of the community. The carpets weren't being cleaned as often and the repairs weren't being made as often. The community fixed an issue of cold air by placing packing tape around the door, and this prevented the residents from using the door to the courtyard. They were short on staff, specifically on maintenance and housekeeping.

Don’t be fooled by the shiny new building. If your loved requires memory care, and all that entails, you will regret a move to this facility. There are a few good caregivers, but they are only there for one shift. If you can’t be there to oversee care multiple times each day then you can’t count on things being done the way they are supposed to. And don’t count on administration or head nurse to do anything but make excuses. Worst mistake we ever made

They tell you that is ,[[name removed] the Director and [name removed] the sales person how much they care about seniors and want to help you make the right decision for your future, you give them a deposit ,and decided it’s not for you, and then try to get your deposit back which is refundable I’m trying to get mine back going on 2 months. But they get 5 percent if your a day late with your rent. These people only care about your money. Beware

I would suggest if you are looking into this facility, you should look very closely. They do not work with residents/family and do not follow through with everything they offer. The residents rooms are dirty, they “forget” about laundry and are so short staffed that they cannot provide the basic needs for their residents.

Walk away. The service from legend is not worth the price tag. The staff turnover is ridiculous. They are on their 3rd or 4th person that directs their head of nursing. The management works more against you than with you. The employees are great, but are so overworked they are not able to do activities with the residents or to provide good care.

As our parents needs progressed, the staff did not meet their obligations in terms of her plan of care. She resided at Regent Park from 2017-2021. We agreed to pay for additional care but the implementation was not adequately implemented on the part of the nursing staff. We do want to acknowledge specific staff [names removed] who were very helpful and responsive. We know many families whose loved ones will need this level of care. We will not recommend this facility to them.

This place promises the worl but fails to deliver 1. We were told residents could pick their meals from a menu which turned out to be lie 2 we asked for blinds for my moms room nothing has been except for make shift blinds we put up 3 we asked about getting a small coffee pot for Her room no answer It is like one the have your money they don’t care Sisister and I think we made a mistake

My relative is at this community & we are in the process of moving her out. We have not been allowed to visit, since she moved in early last year. We also got a notice from Corporate people M.J. that a staff member tested positive for Covid & that they are testing on a weekly basis again. I don’t understand why the staff members are NOT vaccinated, since that is a requirement for all of the people living at this community. They are so short staff that they aren’t admitting any new people into the community (a friend recently inquired & was turned away; they wanted to know if they wanted to move to a sister community in Lansdale, NO); I’m surprised the State hasn’t been in to close them down… I know that we have called several times, since it takes them 20-25 minutes to answer a call bell, when people have to use the bathroom & instead they soil themselves. Whenever they open back up again… don’t bring your loved ones here. It’s a brand new beautiful community, that was 14 mths ago.

Do your research. Contact Bucks County Department of Aging and inquire about complaints filed. Inquire about staffing. Inquire about attrition rate. Be diligent before placing family member here. Looks can be deceiving.

If your person still has all of their mental and physical capacities, it might be okay. But if either is compromised at all, do not go there. They do not have enough staff. We just had a terrible experience there. My loved one arrived there with his hospital gown on and left there several days later with the same dirty hospital gown on.

The CEO is a dictator force the employees to get the vaccine violation of crew rights, doesn’t follow residents diets, roaches everywhere [name removed] is anti ethic, unprofessional ,no respect or compassion

My loved one lived there for a month and got assaulted there. Another resident got in a fight with him, bit his hand had, and I had to take him to the Emergency Room. Which was not too pleasant. My loved one was in memory care, but it was evident right from the beginning that he was more comfortable when I was there and would take him up to assisted living. I asked the director to evaluate him again, and she refused to move him. I expressed my disagreement with her, and she was pretty bold with me about it. So I went to her boss, and he didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. My loved one had already been assaulted there, so I pulled him out of there.

Our loved one was in the memory care unit for less then two months before we pulled them out. During our loved ones stay there were no activities to help stimulate our loved one physically and mentally. The head nurse was of no assistance with anything or anyone. The head nurse did not engage with any of the residents and never returned our calls. It was not a good experience

The activities looked phenomenal which is why we liked this facility, however they were incompetent and could not care for the residents they oversaw. They could never give you all the information correctly, or let the families know when they were not able to medically care for your loved ones anymore.

Six days after family entering vivid lockdown happened. We were not allowed to see our family member at all for months. Only staff was allowed to enter. While only staff could enter the facility we lost 3 electric razors, 4cell phones, 2 watches and doZens of arrivals of clothing. After 7 months family member went to the hospital I on release we were informed he could not return giving us 24 hours to find a née facility.. To date we have not received the deposit back nor a refund for the month he was in the hospital. They sre unwilling to have a meeting or talk about all that happened! Now at a new facility 2 miles away we have been able to visit daily nothing has been stolen the staff is plesant and willing to help with any needs, Legends was a nightmare!!!
