It's a beautiful, beautiful place the rooms are nice and activities and all that, but there are so many problems with the staff, that two of the daughters of a resident have organized a residents family meetings. The horror stories that come out of there, they have even called in the investors that own the building to let them know this is what is happening at your residence. We talked to the manager and he just allows the staff to be disrespectful to the residents, I think, is the main problem, he doesn't controll the aides and I don't even know who their supervisor is, I've asked three of them and they don't know they can't even answer that question.They had five typewritten pages of complaints from residents families that they gave to the manager. They are going to have these meetings now every month and they expect to see progress. I have a friend that was bleeding to death, she pressed and pressed her button on her necklace but nobody came until the med tech came to give her meds and found her. There are bad apples, most of the staff is good, all of the med techs, the kitchen staff is good, the servers in the dining room, the activity people are good, the CNA's are just running wild. They need a different supplier for the food, it has it's good days and it's bad days. The manager is not up to snuff. I wanted a large space and I was on my way to sign up with another place but they offered me a deal that was too good pass up. They have so few residents I don't know how they stay in business, one of the servers told me that there was only 16 women (there are men here too) So there are not that many people here. I'm on the second floor and there are only 3 occupied rooms. I'm really considering whether or not I want to stay here. They have a dementia area but I don't have any experience with that.

The staff is very friendly, but not responsive. Like when I call to speak with someone, they don't get back to me. Recently, there is a new administrator and she sent a letter saying that they are working on it, and that they recognize that it is a problem. Aesthetically, it's very nice, and overall I definitely recommend it. It's a little expensive, but we have LTC so that worked out. We are happy to have my mother there. The dining room is just gorgeous, the lobby, the activity room, it's all great. There is a library right down the hall from my mom's room. They have a church. We are in a very fortunate situation.

This too was a nice place but the location is going to be inconvenient for me and my sister to get to.

This place was really nice but it seemed a little bit more independent so it was nice but it would not have been applicable to my grandmother's situation.

We did take a look at this one and we were very impressed with it but again it was too expensive for us. The staff is top notch, the activities are great, and it's very clean with nice rooms. Everything about it was impressive.

I really like their overall hominess – I think that’s the best word for it. It really felt more like a family. The downside was their rooms were very small and it also felt very crowded. Maybe because of that a lot of the residents were out in the common areas so there was a lot of interaction which I thought was good. So socially, I would rate it high but for day to day living, not quite so high because the apartments were small. They did not have transportation.

We moved our mother to the assisted living facility in July. The apartment, dining, and activity areas are beautiful and well-attended to. During her first week there, my mother developed a severe UTI and had to be hospitalized for one week. She was too ill to return to the assisted living facility, so upon her dismissal she returned to the nursing home facility on the same campus. I was so impressed that the Park West administrator visited my mother while in the hospital and was so accommodating by having my mother's things moved to a room in the nursing home and ready for her upon her dismissal from the hospital. She also arranged for my mother's transportation there. At that time, we had no idea how long her recovery and to what extent it would take. To ease our stress, the administrator let us leave the remainder of our mother's furnishings in her apartment for several weeks until we could make the determination if or when she could return. Our family, along with the nursing home staff, determined that our mother needed to remain in the nursing home. It has taken time, but she has now adjusted, made new friends, and has come to love the friendly, caring staff. She has adjusted and now realized that it is in her best interest to be where she is.

Like the staff and they seem to have good care. Clean and like the layout.

Very Clean, expensive, no pool no real gym just two machines. good food. mostly people we observed were in wheel chairs with oxygen. Nice staff, friendly. Month to month

Mom really liked this facility. Very homey and they have a special floor for "pre-dementia" patients.

I liked this one a lot. Lots of cozy spots near people. Hard to tell how much it would cost, point system....Pet friendly.

Very nice. Rooms small and afraid to take a studio due to want to keep some personal items at this point. Also included lots of services I don't need

The community is very nice, and friendly with nice staff. The food is terrible. Sometimes the staff follow up is not good with the family and residents. My loved one seems comfortable and well taken care of here.

So far, so good for the most part at The Landing of O'Fallon. Of course, as with most facilities, we have to stay on top of staff re: my mom's individual needs (especially due to different staff throughout the day & night & limited communication between staff). Fortunately, my mom has frequent visits from family members & try to stay connected to the staff.

The people I dealt with at Renaissance North Tampa were very nice. And the tour was a positive experience. We just preferred a different community. Size and number of residents was the determining factor - we were looking for a place that was not too big but not too small.

The staff were all very nice and it is a smaller, more quaint facility. It definitely needs updates, especially for the money they as asking for. The main area was nice but when we got upstairs it needed major TLC. Other than that it did seem like a great place to have a loved one.
