All of my friends live here. I have lived here 5 years. I love it. Clean staff is wonderful, best decision I ever made.

The improvement we think Prairie House can make is their overall cleanliness, they could empty the trash out everyday instead of three times a day. Just have more attention to detail.

This was an older community and not a good fit for my loved one.

I have been here for 9 months. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food however needs improvement. The menu is too diverse and ethnic. A more traditional American menu would work better.

The sales staff go above and beyond. Are friendly with all residents and visitors.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was nice but nothing really stood out to us about the community.

We do like the fact our mother is happy there, the residents are all pretty friendly, and the staff members are friendly However, sometimes we are concerned that the level of care is not where it needs to be, as well as the lack of communication with the staff.

At this point it we had to choose again we would go somewhere else, we have not particularly been pleased with The Waters. The staff, nurses, nursing aids, and the other residents have been super friendly, but the management is not very responsive. We do not feel like we are getting our money's worth, what they provide they have not followed through with, especially with the levels of care between level 2 and level 3. We are just having a hell of a time getting things resolved.

I did a virtual tour with this community. I couldn't really get a feel for the staff without being able to see it in person.

I would tell others that it is a gorgeous community with lots of activities. The staff is friendly. The communication between the physicians, nurses, and physical therapy is extremely poor. Also, the follow through is extremely poor. I would speak to the administrators about my concerns and it would improve for a day or so, and then it would go back to the way it was prior. If you have a person who is able to care for themselves this would be a good place for them. If you have an individual that needs additional care, this community won't be as apt. The community doesn't have a care plan for the aides to review for each resident.

This was probably my 2nd choice. Great information, great connection. Unfortunately we couldn’t do an on-site tour there, which was kind of the deciding point. They showed us a video snippet, but you just don’t get a feel for the atmosphere that way. That’s not a reflection on them - it was just the Covid environment. I had a great conversion with the medical director and administrator, and Willow Bend was a very close 2nd.

We toured this community and it was very nice. Unfortunately, the location just didn't fit our family's needs.

We had to quickly find a community with assisted living for our loved one, and unfortunately the communication, the expectations for this community and the services they provided was very vague until you signed the contract and handed over the check. We continue to have to ask questions on what exactly assisted living is and what the different levels of care are, we just were disappointed. It is a very clean facility, they do have activities but they are very strict and have no flexibility on meal times. The meals are scheduled, and if you miss a meal for any reason you either have to wait until the next meal time for pay extra for the meal. There is a lot of hidden fees were were not aware of, which could of been caused by having no orientation.

Make sure you talk with the staff and tour to make sure this is where you want to go or not. I wish I had asked more questions about medication management and medical care in general. They've tried to communicate with me some about my loved one's care. I wish there was more, but I understand it's a difficult situation right now. I feel like they're decent at getting back to me. Another family member feels otherwise. But I thought they were great about calling about vaccinations and were real sticklers about cleanliness and keeping Covid out. I believe they've had only one case total. And they were very transparent about it, which was good.

It's hard to say, not being able to go inside due to Covid. I think my loved one needed more care than they were able to provide. She also never warmed up to Rivermont. And she ended up having a stroke and they didn't realize it. I just wasn't happy with them as far as what they advertised vs what they actually provided. Some of my loved one's belongings went missing while she was there, including some jewelry.

This is a very caring, loving community who is disorganized. They are also having trouble with the pandemic. There have been residents who have contracted COVID. The management doesn't have it all together.

My reservation is due to the pandemic. Everyone at the community was friendly and nice. Due to the pandemic the residents weren't able to communicate and socialize with each other. My loved one was locked in their room due to the pandemic quarantine.

I do know that some of the things they told me when we were looking at the facility and moving in were not the same when we moved her in, they were extra charges and not included. I would tell others to make sure to ask definite questions. I would recommend them when the pandemic is over. If you are self sufficient and do not need additional care every month, they are a good value for the money and it a good facility.

The community is very friendly, but hard to get a hold of any of the caregivers to call you back. It takes weeks to hear back from anyone. They will update you once a week on your loved one on the COVID. They are short staffed at Legend of Lancaster. Due to the pandemic my loved one is in their room.

We chose Renaissance North Tampa because it was very clean and everybody was friendly to us and the staff members were also very friendly to their residents. I really liked the activities that memory care was able to provide as well. The room sizes here are a little bit tight for us. The food here is something they could use improvement on, the meals are not very nutritious.
